Signed up with this company 11/07/22, went back to cancel after finding out that they don't give you free oil changes or tire rotations and whatever else lies they tell you in the commercials, it was 4 days later when I cancelled, they are supposed to give you a 30 day money back guarantee, it's 12/19/22, I can't get through on the phone, and no one is returning my calls, so I will be contacting the attorney general to see what can be done about this company and their practices of ripping people off, so please don't waste your time with these people it's a scam, they won't refund your money, stay far far away it's all a lie, tried car shield they are no better

I seen an ad on tv about this company and it said $4500 for brakes I'm just wondering what kind of vehicle that brakes would cost that much? Sounds like they are ripping people off if they have to pay $4500 for brakes.

I paid over $3300 towards a 5 yr/100,000 mi Diamond Warranty from Ox Car Care. I made 22 payments of $149.25/mo plus $100 fee to Ox Car Care (total = $3383.50). I was told, in depth (because I asked a ton of questions), prior to purchasing the Warranty, that if I didn't use the warranty at all & sold my car before the Warranty expired, I would be entitled to a full refund of all payments except for the $100 initial fee. I canceled the warranty over 2 months ago & requested a full refund. I was told by the 1st customer service representative that I spoke to, that YES I am entitled to a full refund. Then she went on to say that IF I'm not happy with the amount of my refund, to call back & request more money. (I was told the same thing by the 2nd Rep I spoke to also) Only the $100 fee was non-refundable (if the warranty was not used). I sold my car (over 2 months ago!) with over 3 yrs left on the Warranty. I have been told multiple stories & time frames to expect my refund. I was told it would take a MAXIMUM of 45 business days. Now, I'm being told there is NO time frame or known amount for my refund! Customer service representatives (on my 3rd call) were extremely rude & dismissive. I asked to speak to a Supervisor but "Kelvin" informed me that he is the highest ranking employee at Ox Car Care. He claimed to only answer to the Owner! LIARS! They NEVER called me back after multiple messages left requesting information on my refund. I left 3 messages but did not receive a single call back. I had to keep calling them. They are giving me the runaround & doing everything they can to keep my money as long as possible! I was lied to by the Customer Service Rep several times! He tried to tell me that there is not a set time frame for refunds to be processed. The 1st two Reps both told me that they had up to 45 business days to process & ship my refund check. It's been over 45 business days with no refund & dealing with the A$$holes that work there! AVOID AT ALL COST! STEER CLEAR! STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND!!!

I purchased two contracts for two separate vehicles, they are falsely advertising covered they declined to pay and cover the repairs. My contracts were canceled out ox car Care never refunded my money and kept billing me for canceled contracts and which were charged to my credit cards I had to cancel my credit cards and get new ones just to get the reoccurring charges to stop. Ox car Care where the ones that canceled my contract then they turn around and say that I needed to send them papers a cancellation which I did they said they got those papers and I would be getting my refund now they said they don't have the cancellation forms and they're refusing to refund my money. This is a very poorly ran organization set out to rip off senior citizens and disabled veterans. Speaking with them on the 16th of December still getting the runaround I'm being told I have to send in another letter of cancellation to get my money back. BE WARNED OX CAR CARE DOES NOT PAY FOR REPAIRS ON YOUR VEHICLE THEY WILL FIND A LOOPHOLE TO SAY THAT SAID REPAIRS ARE NOT COVERED THEY WILL CONTINUE HAVING YOU BILLED AND AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS WITHDRAWN, CANCEL YOUR PAYMENT METHOD AND GET NEW CARDS TAKE THEM TO COURT AS I'M DOING. THESE TYPES OF COMPANIES SEEK TO RIP OFF CONSUMERS, INITIALLY WHEN I SET UP THE CONTRACTS I WAS LED TO BELIEVE THAT THE COMPONENTS ALWAYS WORRIED ABOUT WOULD BE COVERED THEY WERE NOT THEY OFFERED ME TWO FREE MONTHS AND REDUCED MONTHLY PAYMENTS IF I WOULD KEEP THE CONTRACT THEN THEY THEMSELVES CANCELED THE CONTRACT ON ME FAILING TO REFUND MY MONEY, to this day they're refusing to refund my money.

My car waited in repair shop for 13 days and the repair shop would not continue to hold the car because they were granting free rental car. The repair shop coordinator emailed OXCar at least four times. I emailed twice a request and as of today 15 days later we have not gotten a decision on repair warranty granted. I called three times and was told to email the request reminder. Other times I was given a recorder with directions . It is as though they feel as if they hold out until you pay for your own repairs while yet paying them for a warrant service. Worst Company yet....

Just a comment. People would be better off to put their money in a saving account each month for emergencies, like car repairs. That what I do and it works out.

They keep asking I’m thinking they bout to come kick my door in and take my card out my wallet. Talk about pressure. Naw I’m good.

Total scammers. Paid out $409. Canceled in two months, car was totalled. Refund, $18. Rude people who ping pong you between themselves and Palmer, the administration company. Filed a complaint with my Attorney General's office.

I can look at all of the good reviews and tell that most of them are automated or computer generated real customers with real experiences don't talk like that but looking at the bad reviews I am so glad I didn't make a choice of giving them my information or any money they went from one quote That was supposed to be the best quote to another quote after finding out what I pay for the service I have now of course they miraculously beat that price and didn't want to give me time to look over my policy with protect my car to see which was better to pushy made me really cautious and looking at these fake reviews I'm glad I stayed away

These folks who run this company are scammers. They do not stand by what is written in the policy. They tell you in writing to take your vehicle to the issuing dealer and that's exactly what I did. The dealer got the approval of me having the warranty from Ox Car Care representative. The diagnosis was done and my gas tank had go be dropped for further investigation. Ox Care claimed they would only pay if what was found was covered which left me in a difficult position, however my check engine light came on for a reason. So not knowing what was wrong I took a chance on having the mechanic move forward. It ended up being something that was covered by my warranty so the dealership called and said she had good news the problem was covered per her prior conversation with Ox Car Care representative. Well the work bill was sent and Ox Car Care refused to pay, they disputed the hour of labor, they disputed the cost of labor per hour, they disputed the price for the needed part. I understand that dealerships charges more but they requested me take my vehicle to the issuing dealer knowing that. Now they are hanging the phone up in my ear and telling me the dealership is overcharging to fix my car and they are only paying what they want to pay. Now myself and the dealership are trying to figure this out and it seems as if Ox car care is gonna have to be charged for breach of contract. This is NOT a good company in my opinion, more like some scammers trying to prey on people they can take advantage of.

They’re obviously writing fictitious reviews to keep a high rating. The stars are either 5 or 1 which tells me the business is writing fake reviews for business

Do not trust this company! I was told that my payment would be deferred to a specific date. They debited my checking account three weeks before the date they promised they would start the payment back on. Now I have overdrafts! I called to speak to someone they blew it off. I asked to cancel now they want me to go print off a page and mail it to them in order to cancel my policy. Granted, it says I have to do it in writing in their policy. However I answered the cancellation form and used DocuSign and emailed it back to them. They're saying it's not a valid document. I spoke to a supervisor who said that basically it is what it is. They can't cancel it until I mail the document to them. How can you make your customers jump through hoops and you are the one responsible for the error. This seems like a scam. Buyer beware! I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing. Now I have to buy a stamp and pay overdraft fees.

So I called to get information about the Ox services. I'm told special sign up 50 bucks 204 a month. 30 Day money back guarantee. They pay all repairs. Just walk into any ASE certified repair shop make a call they use the corporate Amex card and pay for said repairs. When I tell the guy thank you, I'm not moving forward as I'm not prepared to do so the person on the phone became relentless to sign me up. Down right rude to get me to say yes. Thanks but no thank's.

***STOP DO NOT BUY ANY OX CAR CARE PLAN*** I first reported car problems (rack/pinion and tie rod) on 12/21/2022. They (ox car care) finally inspected it 12/29/2022. Today is 1/2/2023 and no response from ox car care. Meanwhile they’ve deducted my monthly payment. Ox car care is the worse after market car warranty company as far as customer service, and their claims process. Toco and protect My Car provide better customer service and process claims in 48 hours or less. I hate ox car care and recommend all my fellow veterans, military, reservists, coast guard, and all first responders do not buy an ox car care policy/plan or to cancel existing plan for one previously mentioned. As a disabled veteran I have shouldn’t have to choose between driving my car in its poor condition to my va Dr appointment or rescheduling it. As a new patient in the are I’m fortunate to get an appointment so soon, otherwise I had to wait until march. I don’t have the money to pay for transportation/ambulance to dr appointment. My having had triple bypass heart surgery, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, kidney disorder, and several allergies makes my car vital to my maintaining my health. The delay in the repair of my vehicle due to the claims process of ox car care is endangering my health. If I could have it my way they would pay for repairs, refund my monies, and I would go to a different warranty company. Please allo my experience to benefit you.

STAY AWAY ! I signed up with OX Care and they are dreadful and fraudulent. They would not pay any claims that were supposedly covered by them. My mechanic and I kept trying to get them to pay for some of the work done on my car for months. I would call to talk to a customer service rep to be told that I need to email them. To go on their website and even try to look up your claim is non-existent. I have paid them a lot of money each year and I got ZERO in return but they certainly got thousands from me for not doing or covering anything. The customer service reps are robotic and send you to a supervisor who then disputes the claim because the mechanic replaced a part with a brand name they do not cover...WHAT?? FRAUDULENT business practices please save yourself time, energy and money
