The purchase process was easy and the item arrived quickly. One downside note is that the website does not warn you of potential custom charges if you are purchasing and getting the delivery in countries other than the UK, and would be good if this get fixed asap. Other than that, good experience and would recommend, just check for custom charges if you purchase from abroad.

Good experience, but be very aware of abroad taxes. It should be more clear in the buying process.

Many thanks for your review. We are sorry about the tax being imposed, but now that the UK is no longer in the EU, all items imported into another country (from the UK) will be subject to additional import taxes. The price you paid for the goods had the UK Tax deducted prior to your payment as it was classed as an export. As paying Tax is a legal requirement there is nothing we can do to avoid this charge. We do reference this within our Terms and Conditions, but can only apologise if this was not made clear enough during the buying process. I placed and paid for an order of nearly £500.00 and a week later have heard nothing! Starting to get a little concerned at having to spend hours of time I do not have to chase up my order or get my money back. Following the above comments Paul Stride customer services took action, traced and sorted my order which was then promptly delivered. Congratulations to a customer service that does what it says

Good product - too expansive shippement - bad surprise when the parcel was arrived in France 10€ of additional taxes !

Good Afternoon Marie Charlotte, Many thanks for your review. I am sorry about the Tax but now that the UK is nolonger in the EU all items imported into France will be subject to French TVA (VAT) however the price you paid for the goods had the UK Tax deducted prior to your payment as it was classed as an export. As paying Tax is a legal requirement there is nothing we can do to avoid this charge. On the postage we do not make any money on this in fact in most cases we make a loss on this. Again since Brexit we now have EU clearance charges placed on top of the postage charge again we cannot avoid this expense. Was very good. Okay dispatch once stock was received. Wasn’t next day as stated. Was emailed by DPD on the 4/7 saying expecting it and came on the 6/7

Good Afternoon Lymara, Many thanks for taking the time to review our service. Apologies over any confusion on the delivery. DPD email as soon as we print the labels for despatch, however in some cases if they have already collected our parcels for that day the collection will not actually take place till the day after and once collected they provide a 24 hour service. You should have received an email and/or text on the morning of delivery to confirm an allotted time for this to take place. I hope this explains the delay of 24 hours on the delivery.
