I don't know how a business can take a great product and totally screw it up! I have used paytrust for 25 years without a hitch until they completely revamped their entire format. it is an utter disaster. Not sure what twisted mind could create such a draconian, completely illogical amd unintuitive spider web of bill paying. I hope the moron who designed it is out sweeping floors.....

Simply the worst software upgrade in the history of software. In a league of its own. Remarkable that the company could unleash a pack of programmers to revise the user interface with zero guidance from a qualified marketing team, customers or anyone with an ounce of consumer experience. If no one got fired, it speaks volumes about the company behind Paytrust, whoever it is. That remains a mystery. Too bad you can't rate this with zero stars.

Just received an email that Paytrust services will shut down during August 2023. I have been with Paytrust.com since it was called PayMyBills.com. I saw the declination coming once I had to deal with the updated web design. You fixed something that wasn't broken to most users.

Extremely dissatisfied with the changes made since the company was recently sold. I was a VERY happy customer for over 20 years. But I cannot express how much I DESPISE the new format. Besides being completely unintuitive...the functionality fails, too. My bills are now late thanks to Paytrust not working. I'll be searching for an alternative. Sad, since I have 20+ years of bill-pay history saved here.

I've been with pay trust for 25 years or more. The sad news is that the the old company has been sold and the new owners haven't got a clue about how the website should work. The major changes took place about a year ago when they took a successful website and company and threw it in the garbage. They completely redesigned A successful website And turned it into a piece of garbage. The new website is so complicated that no one can find their way around it without a map both hands and a search warrant. If you are considering signing up with these people I suggest giving their website a "test drive" for a month first. You might also call customer support at least once and try to reset your password. As if that weren't enough, they started screwing up a bill payments. Bills that had always been on Hto pilot sent from 2 or 3 a year to 2 or 3 a month. Sometimes with unbelievable consequences. E.g. once they failed to pay a Visa card that I used to pay my phone bill, my internet bill and others. This lead to a veritable cascade of problems. Recently I have had a lot of trouble getting my credit cards that are renewed periodically. I've never had a problem getting the new ards that Visa or Mastercard sends out to paytrust but this year the delay is so long between the issuance of the new card and when paytrust gets around to sending the card to my home that I have now started asking that the banks send me the cards to my home. I wouldn't give them any stars at all if I could give them a negative score I would.

I tried to address this between us but I cannot seem to get a call back from a supervisor so this is all I have left. Been a customer for 17 years. Due to a banking glitch an $80 bill fell through. Pay trust sent that to a collections agency. I should have been called. I paid the collections agency, but am still locked out of my funding account used for bill payment for at least 3 more days. Inhave auto pay rules for credit cards that are stuck I have mortgage payments that are stuck I have utility bill payments that are stuck Everyone in the world will accept funds from my checking account except pay trust. And I cannot even get a supervisor to call me back? This is horrible policy. It is completely wrong to treat customers who entrust you with bill payment services this way.

I have used Paytrust for 20+years. Since Intuit purchased this business it has been run into the ground. The question is, why is this happening?

Allow me to add my voice to the choir. Like many, I have been using the service for many many years. And like many I have watched as the service has deteriorated . The new GUI is quite simply a DISASTER. It's unbelievable that the drop down menu for assigning a Payee lists them all in no apparent order - almost unusable. The whole new website is quite simply a MESS.

I have been an enthusiastic PayTrust customer for more than 20 years. It was simple, efficient, and intuitive . . . until the new website "improvements." They are AWFUL!!! Complicated, inefficient, and unintuitive. Also, for 4 days now, the website is down, and I can't review or pay my bills. I called customer service, and it says no one is available due to an unexpected emergency. The new owners have DESTROYED a good business model. My guess is, they are going down, have fired people and will soon be out of business?

The new interface essentially just decimated the functionality even removing the ability to see historical bills, etc. It is so bad, it appears to be an intentional infliction of pain on the existing customer base. It appears a competitor must have hijacked the site and made this as bad as theoretically possible in order to create maximum ill will towards the customer base. Either pay the ransom to get the site back or just admit you don't like customers and cancel everyone's account for them. You can cancel them rather than paying customer service staff to do it for them when they call.

What can I say. Was a great service that made my life easier now it is the worst interface I have ever encountered. A long time customer who has referred countless folks to what was a great service. Did you guys even BETA test this interface. HORRIBLE!!!!

This is the single worst upgrade in the history of software. And as someone who has been in the software business for the past 35 years I have a great deal of experience in this realm. Simply inconceivable that the leadership of that company could’ve allowed this to happen.

Absolutely hate this update. Please return to old system. I have been a Paypal customer for over 25 years. I am currently looking for another service. I am having to call almost daily to have someone walk me thru my problems with this new system. Please from other reviews 99.9% are F.

I have been using PayTrust since 2000 and watched it get worse and worse over the years. The final straw is their "new" user interface. It is nothing short of a Cluster****!! What a disaster!! Ever since Intuit acquired PayTrust, it seems like they are hell bent on destroying it!! And their customer service is HORRIBLE!

I have been a Paytrust customer since 2000 and aside from poor customer service (which I try never to call) the legacy platform has worked most of the time. The new platform / interface is very poorly thought out and while I have been able to make it work, it does appear to have been developed by junior code writers with no input from actual users and seems like it had little or limited beta testing. I've spent almost 50 years managing software engineers, software developers and I've never allowed an app out the door without hours of customer input / testing / testing with parallel data sets. Worse when trying to "help" Paytrust correct some of their most egregious errors and omissions, I receive a thank-you email and "we'll pass it on to management..." It would appear that management IS the problem and if they don't engage competent help, they will be left behind with few customers. This apathetic attitude is what allows me to say "thank you for allowing me to find a new resource" for bill pay. I have resisted moving to bank bill pay for my personal payments, but unless there is a rapid response with results from Paytrust, I will move on.

What were you thinking Paytrust??? This new revision is 10 steps backwards. I have been a customer for 20+ years and even though I had to pay for this service I still thought it was worth it and have recommended to many of my friends. This new update is so elementary, confusing and useless - please hurry up and fix it or I will be looking for another service. At least just go back to the old format.

The new rollout of Paytrust is nothing short of an utter disaster. I have used the service for more than 20 years and it was easy and awesome, not so now. It is an absolute mess. I have trumpeted Paytrust for many years and convinced many to go with it. It is time to jump this sinking ship of pathetic incompetency!

Customer for many many years. The upgrade(?) is AWFUL. I agree with other long term users. Very confusing to use. It appears that they are intentionally driving customers away from using this service. Stay away! Prior customer service was poor, but this is AWFUL.

Loyal customer since 1998, have been a huge fan and supporter, but after waiting excitedly for this recent "upgrade", I'm beyond disappointed, more shocked. This may be one of the worst tools I've seen built and scares me to think that ALL of my financial information and account data is stored here. :( Time to move on.
