I’ve just read many unfavorable reviews and wanted to add a 5 star favorable review. I love PC’s beautiful clothing and I have been very happy with my purchases over the 4 years I’ve been their customer.I definitely wouldn’t want to be without any of their clothing and accessories I’ve bought. I respect their very high standard of design and the opportunity to wear high quality Peruvian fabrics. (I love pima.) I look forward to receiving every new catalog and enjoying their Sales. Thank you for making clothing so enjoyable to wear and the constant compliments!

My experiences with Peruvian Connections stores have been excellent! Great merchandise, exceptional quality, unique & original prints and design. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable in product and fashion statements, friendly and willing to go out of their way to assist you in your special purchases. I am a customer with the Washington DC store, while also dealing with the other stores. I highly recommend them!

I ordered from this company and love their customer service at their warehouse. They were very helpful in assisting with sizing and color description.

I have purchased clothes from Peruvian Connection for years and keep going back for more. Their pima cotton basics - tanks, shirt, turtlenecks, skirts - are so soft and have held up well over years of wearing & washing.

I always order thinking if I don't like it I will send it back, but everything I have ordered is of outstanding quality and looks better on than in the pictures. I want things to not fit so I can get the desire out of my system but oh my gosh! I haven't been able to return anything! Their fabrics are so luxurious and fit so well I just have to keep them. Everything I have ordered has exceeded my expectations.

They sell the most exquisite alpaca and pima cotton mainly women's clothing . If you live in a cold climate, alpaca is so incredibly warm and soft and their pima cotton tops, t-shirts are to die for. The pima cotton tops come in medium weight pima, but also in such fine light weight fabric - perfect for hot weather. The colours and designs of both the alpaca and pima garments are outstanding. The service of Peruvian Connection is excellent and items are always packed as if they were a gift and are shipped promptly.

I read these reviews - I agree that most companies offer free shipping. I saw that PC does offer free shipping as well. Their quality is good as well as their pricing. Just a thought - when they charge for a return just remember how much time and cost it is when you drive to a store!

I've been buying Peruvian Connection almost since they first started selling in the UK, being originally attracted to the romantic style, but specifically their virtually heirloom hand knitted sweaters, cardigans and jackets. Sadly they rarely do those these days, presumably because the prices would now be astronomical. I still buy a few items because their designs are good and usually the quality is still pretty good. Sometimes there's a long lead time if they are out of stock, but unlike another reviewer my personal experience of customer service has always been good. For example, I bought a couple of (fairly expensive) jersey tops, and after several months noticed that when held up to the light, the fabric had thinned badly, despite correct washing. They asked for a letter and the tops to inspect, and were then very prompt and courteous providing replacements. 4 stars only because they no longer do so many of the designs I loved.

Web says “made in Peru” funny how when I received my $300.00 dress the tag inside says “made in China” Customer service claims the material is made in Peru but sewn in China because they have better sewing machines?

I've been buying mostly cotton tops from PC for over 20 years. I'm an online shopper in general and Covid drove me to do it almost exclusively. I really do like PC's unique prints and all cotton tops, but many of the reviews here are accurate: they take quite a while to ship (and I'm in CO, they're in Kansas . . . one state apart), shipping is extremely expensive and returns are also; and just recently, with their new website, you can't even write a review of a purchase or read any reviews!(The new website and changes have occurred since the founder passed away.) If they've eliminated reviews by customers I will be forced to buy almost nothing from them -- it's just too expensive to order, pay shipping, find the item doesn't fit (their sizing info. is fairly inaccurate), then pay return shipping. I don't usually like the items that much! I think they're shooting themselves in the foot and may drive themselves out of business with these policies. The competition is just to strong for these policies these days . . . . Hope they learn something before it's too late. 8/12/23

After ordering a dress, I checked on-line to see when it would ship. The site said 6-12 weeks which was longer than I wanted to wait. I could not find a way to cancel the order on-line and sent customer service an email saying the wait time was too long and to cancel the order. They replied I would have the dress in 7-10 business days, which I did. There's obviously some kind of disconnect. After reading other reviews about length of time for delivery I wondered if you only get service by complaining. I was disappointed with the fabric of the dress but am keeping it because after reading other reviews about processing returns I figured a bird in hand is worth something. I will NOT order from them again based on other reviews and my experience.

My daughter and I have bought many things from Peruvian connection , but many of my favourites eg vintage wash round neck long t shirts are not offerred anymore, and the fabrics on t shirts have deteriorated. In general quality of fabric and design is not as good as it was. And UK prices are now astronomic( much higher than US) so reluctantly I will not be ordering.

I haven't dressed up for several years, and now that we're planning a transatlantic trip on the Queen Mary II, I need some nice things. Ten or 15 years ago, I bought a few items from Peruvian Conn and was thrilled with their quality and uniqueness. This time, I ordered three flowery dresses and was so disappointed in their quality I couldn't keep any of them. I returned them all and have gotten a partial refund -- maybe the rest will come. But meanwhile a merchant of high-end OOAK clothing has faded from the scene. It's sad.

I recently ordered 4 dresses on sale from Peruvian Connection. Before ordering I called to make sure that they would be shipped FED EX and would require a signature before being dropped off. We live in a city where packages are frequently stolen so this was absolutely necessary. The dresses were not shipped Fed Ex and were delived without a signature. Fortunately, I was home and got the package before anyone else. Fortunately, this was not a big deal but slightly annoying. They arrived at least a week later than promised. Again, not a big deal, but did require my calling them a few times to determine the status. Although the style of all the dresses were very nice, the quality of the dresses were not what I would expect from PC. Although they were on sale, they were still expensive. I kept 2 of the dresses which seemed to be better quality. Interestingly, they were made in Peru. The other looked much more cheaply made and when I looked at the tag, they were both made in China. Unlike several people, I did get a refund on the 2 dresses I mailed back within 2 weeks. Also, the people I spoke to several times regarding the slow arrival time were very nice and helpful. Sadly, I don't think I'll be buying clothes from them anymore.

I've been purchasing from PC for several years and I've always been very happy with my items and with the service. This month I ordered the Layering Tee, which I've gotten many times in the past. The new version is much thinner and flimsier, and feels like it will not hold up very well. I'm going to try it, since I use these tees all the time and love the style. But, if it doesn't wash well and last over time, I will not re-order. For the first time ever, I received an error in my order, and noticed that there are no sizes or colors shown on my invoice or in my e-mail confirmation. This isn't a good way to ship someone's items! Also noticed that, all of sudden, there are no customer reviews on their website, and no place to write a review. I agree with the person below who said that if she can't read the reviews, she won't order from them anymore. This has always been a fabulous company, now it seems to be going downhill. Finally, I've noticed that PC is trending toward "Haute couture" lately, for astronomical prices. That will also drive me away. Please spend more on quality items, even if it means spending less on fancy boxes and packaging!

Despite using the company's sizing directives, neither of the dresses I ordered fit. This has happened several times with this company, and I resent their high mailing fees--a wasted $28. Unless you are a woman over 5'7" and wear a bra size C or under, save your money. These clothes are not designed for you. On the upside, the merchandise does arrive nicely, lots of tissue paper and a sturdy box. But it's the consumer who pays for it.

I really like Peruvian Collection clothes for style and quality, but in comparison with other quality retailers I find them somewhat overpriced. But my biggest problem with them is their long delivery times and lack of associated customer service. I order much shopping online, and can honestly say they take longer than ANYONE else - I’ve had items from China arrive faster! I’m still awaiting delivery of a scarf, three weeks after I ordered it. Poor, when you consider their prices.

Customer service is terrible. At least on line and over the phone. It seems that they take forever in shipping. Ordered on Wednesday and they MAY ship on the next Monday, if I’m lucky. I should have gone to the store myself. They keep rubbing in that it takes 5 to 7 days after shipping g yet the shipping takes one week. They didnt read my question properly and had to repeat myself. Not concentrated in the conversation. Bad customer service. Clothes look nice but dice me a break.

£177 for a viscose dress made in china. Sorry but the picture looked like there was texture to the dress. Sadly disappointed and it will be returned.
