This is our first time with pet insurance and really didn't know what to expect and didn't really expect we would be utilizing our insurance so early. We were quite pleased with the ease of turning in our claim and the turn around in which Pets Best responded with the processing

I have been very pleased with them for years. They cover what they say they cover. Claims are easy to file. Very easy to get hold of a real person if I need to talk to someone.The majority of the time claims are processed vey quickly.I gave it a 5, but it should be a 4.7. My only complaint is that the costs of the insurance has gone up each year, but I realize that all insurance has gone up. I enjoy their on call vet service to ask questions. I highly recommend this insurance group

Pets Best was amazing when we needed things to be easy, it was. We spent thousands of dollars on care for our sweet Rufus and we recieved exactly what we expected back based on the coniditons of our policy. They were quick and effecient. It was the only bright spot in a very dark time. I would strongly recommend having a policy so that you do not have to make big desicions about your pets life based on finances.

My only complaint would be the cost. Considering this is for a 16 pound Shih Tzu, who other than allergies is healthy, $175/mo is a lot of money especially when one is retired and on a fixed income.

Pets Best has decent coverage for a resonable price. I recently made my first claim and the reimbursement period was about 30 days. I felt that was excessive for such a straight forward vet bill. All expenses were covered that should have been, which I did appreciate. However, I do not appreciate the way they calculate their reimbursement amounts. I was charged a 20% co-pay on expenses that I was fully paying, before I met my deductible. Therefore, my deductible ended up being $600 instead of $500 because of that 20%.

The email I received about a possible 65 increase next year is totally unacceptable. I will write the corporate and have everybody I know who has this insurance let them know that we cannot stand for this increase. That is ridiculous. You gonna lose many many memberships.

I’ve only Sub one claim , and haven’t been here for long but from what I’ve experience before starting and starting the insurance I’ll stay friendly customer service when calling and easy system / app to navigate.
