“We started communicating with PHARMATRADE UK back in November. We ordered a large quantity of single-use gloves in view of the pandemic caused by Covid-19. Pharmatrade UK asked for an advance payment of 50% to begin production (the remaining 50% to be paid before delivery). When we made the payment, we soon received an email saying that the merch would not be ready for another 30 days and asked if we were willing to wait for it or if we wanted to apply for a refund. Immediately we realized that we were being scammed and proceeded to fill out the refund form they sent us. To this day, we still have not received neither the gloves that we paid for nor the refund.
We initially found the company through their website pharmatradeco.it (they also use pharmatradeco.com and pharmatrade.website). If you do a quick google search, you will find the LinkedIn profile for Naples-born Gianfranco Vestuto, who seems to have been PHARMATRADE UK’s director from April 2020 until October 2020. The current company director seems to be Hector Regulo Martinez, according to the OpenCorporates website. The company was established on 31 March 2020, while the pandemic was starting to take off all around the world.”
