“Ordered a shower enclosure and tray. The enclosure seems fine.
Unfortunately there is something wrong with the tray, the water doesn't drain out of it. It lies in the tray in puddles. Unsure if this is an issue with the plughole or if the tray is warped.
Either way I've contacted customer services to be told that there's no defect.
One week after installation I'm already planning to remove the tray and enclosure as its not fit for purpose.
Seriously out of pocket following my purchase of faulty goods from plumbworld.”
“I ordered a sink and after about two weeks it still did not arrive so I cancelled it. My kitchen work got pushed back so when I tried to re order the sink the price had increased by £50 the next day. I asked customer services to honour the price at which I first purchased it but they refused to do so. Customer service wasn’t great. They didn’t confirm a date for the delivery of the sink I was told 24 hours but then it transpired it was going tk be Atleast a few days. I ordered a tap which was bad quality so I will be returning it.”
“You use DHL who are known in this area for constant failed deliveries and dishonest acceptance records. My parcel did not arrive and the photo of the delivery location was of my neighbours house who were in all day but accepted no delivery. Change your carrier if you want your business to grow.”

I was able to do 120 mile round-trip and fit in my bathroom 2 days b4 abated delivery date.I also managed to purchase items from retailers for £195 saving £42:11p against £237:11p at Plumbworld.
Couriers are not up to what you are trying to achieve as an online provider.
Also disillusioned with time period to return upfront payment.

“Ordered urgent part for next day delivery over the phone (as confirmed during the order) plumber was booked but since The courier had no instructions that it was urgent or where to leave it, it was returned to depot. I had to reschedule plumber and collect from depot next day. Though courier (DHL) were clearly at fault rather than Plumbworld it is important Plumbworld know that customers are being let down - better service at point of sale would avoid these issues.”
“Awful customer service. Ordered a shower screen which was due to be delivered a day after I ordered it. Over a week passed and still no sign of the screen. I reached out to Plumbworld who informed me it had been sent back to them and they asked if I would like it reshipping. I confirmed that I still wanted the shower screen to which you replied it had been lost and you no longer had stock. Would not recommend”
“Bad customer service, order was "lost" but never communicated, once I finally got hold of customer services I was dismissed several times until finally promised that the order would be re-sent for next day delivery.. which never turned up. Neither order has arrived and it took too long for a refund. Unfortunately won't be returning for sure.”
“Absolutely atrocious service, after over 2 months still awaiting a shower tray and screen.I have used Plumbworld on many occasions and have recommended to many clients. Each time the service has got worse.I have phoned on several occasions and all I get are apologies and excuses, but no equipment. Not once has anyone from customer services had the courtesy to call and try to suggest any avenues to resolve this matter. They were quick enough to take our money though. NEVER EVER AGAIN”
“The process was misleading. I placed a multi-product order with this company because of the specific 'in stock 2-day delivery' date, and on that date the order didn't arrive. I checked the email confirmation only to discover the order was on hold as one item was now out of stock, and thus the entire delivery was on hold until I confirmed my intentions. Once I confirmed to go ahead with the rest of the order, it took a further week to arrive. My plumbers were there unable to install. I wish I had gone just gone to Wicks.”
“Not exactly the companies fault but DHL lost my shower screen, another was sent which was promised on a certain date, DHL failed to deliver so after two call out fees from my plumber and two days off work I cancelled the order. Two weeks later DHL rock up with the parcel and look at me gone out when I told them where to go! Wouldn't use this company ever again due to who they use for delivery!!”

“Ordered a spare part for a plinth heater having spent a long time verifying that it was the correct part. The part listed on the website matched the make, model and version of my heater. When the part arrived it didn't fit and was obviously never going to fit so was not accurately described on the website.
PlumbWorld wouldn't help me with a return or refund and instead sent me to the supplier. Nearly 3 weeks later and I'm still chasing up a refund and had to argue that I shouldn't have to pay postage to return a part that was not as described. I returned the part unused, still in its original packaging and have only been given a partial refund. The part is still incorrectly listed on the website.
Pretty abysmal service all round and I won't be using them again.”
