Useless service broadband is constantly off line and they take days to fix it. Pay a little more and get a proper service. Utter cowboys

If I could give them no stars I would. Cancelled the sim I'd purchased for my son on a one month buy now cancel at anytime agreement online. As he'd turned 18 (was willing to pay for his own phone) it turns out that if you dont phone they automatically renew! Without your consent. And sign you up to a 12 month contract. I've now been charged a late payment fee and now I have to pay for a 12 month contract I'm not using. Phoning them is infuriating! I was passed to 5 different people. They try to take direct debits 7 days before due. Or at random times. Please avoid this company at all costs.

Misleading poor customer service prices increases lack of notification for bills untimely response to phone calls basically plusnet are no good just money oriented can't wait to leave

Absolutely shocking company. Can't access Netflix or download films. Promise that Engineer will ring me back. They don't! I cancel within 14 days and then get threatening emails about Debt Collection Agencies if I don't pay £230 cancelation charges. Stay Away from this company! You have been warned......

I thought that I had followed their instructions to close my contract. However they kept invoicing me. I ignored these invoices thinking that it was an error on their part, only to be hit with a £10 late payment charge

They put my broadband bill up by £6 without notice. You'll wait hours on hold to speak to someone. Awful company that used to be good. Now rubbish

Been with them a matter of weeks paying £23.99 for a 36mb package that is £22.99 on their website. Just went up to £28.17 a month

Only giving 1 star as I can't give 0. The staff you do eventually get to speak to are rude and unhelpful. I've been over a month with no service but this seems acceptable to them

I'd give no stats if possible I called there hopeless call center que my bill has it has gone up more than £5 they said they couldn't find me on the system or access my account??? The lady didn't seem to know what day it was God knows how she got a job I gave at least 5 things of dpa when security only require 3 by law an still she said she can't find me or I can't pass security I only use the line for internet so didn't know my landline number but could confirm my full name dob email address Mobile number even my account username still she wouldn't assist me so I asked for a manager which then I was put through to someone else who again went through security again an couldn't find my details and guess what wasn't a manager after 30 min for nothing I hung up and went online to find what I needed don't give your money to these mugs they'll raise your costs an then say they can't find you on system so you can't even then cancel should have stayed with talk talk

Avoid like a plague .... their service and attitude to customers is worse than a pandemic or plague for that matter. I contacted Plusenet to inform of the sad news that my dear Mother has passed away and will need to stop her telephony and broadband service. Instead of offering sympathy and an empathy of the loss of a parent, I was lectured by the call centre agent that given the initial contract was arranged by myself (my late Mother suffered from severe dementia) then Plusnet is not obliged to terminate the service and should I to wish to do so then there will be penalty charges. The agent repeatedly re-iterated her position despite the fact that I alerted her that the service was provided to my late Mother home and the monthly service charge was taken out of her account. I am still waiting (4 days now) for a senior manager to call me back, as promised by the agent, in the hope of having a more rational discussion rather than a one with an automaton agent. To add an insult to an injury, I received, today, a text message from Plusnet informing that they intend to close my complaint and escalation request, as in their view my complaint has been resolved. At the end of the day, quality of service can only be assessed on how flexible, understanding, caring, sympathetic a business is and how it deals with the exception to the norm, if any. I am sorry to say that Plusnet staff has demonstrated that the company to be heartless, uncaring, rude, lacks basic level of compassion or consideration for a bereaved person.

STOP!! Don’t even bother with this s**t company. WORST EVER! Horrific customer service that don’t know and can’t do their jobs properly They lie and cheat you out of money. If I could give a negative star rating I would. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

If you thinking of joining Plusnet. DONT. There advertised packages lie from the word go. Lets look at my package advertised average down load speed 10 meg. Actual speed at its best 4.2 meg, dropping down to 0.2 meg. After a fault on the line Engineer said no one on this package will get 10 meg, they be lucky to get 7 meg. So how can they get a average higher than 7??? Is that not false advertising. Then ring up to complain you get a email sent with a ofsted requirement they only need to provide 0.4 meg. personally, i think they in breach of contract, but try to leave contract. NIGHTMARE. Would not advise anyone to join Plusnet. just laugh at there TV Advertising, like the service providers. Big Joke.

Plusnet are all hype. If only they spent as much on their service as they do on advertising. The actor Craig Murray who fronts their advertising campaign, must be so embarrassed at taking the money. I applied for Broadband then they asked for another £100 as they said I did not have a landline. This was a lie and a scam. I have had the same landline and number for over a decade. Alarm bells rang and I cancelled. Plusnet agreed to a refund but guess what, it never arrived.

Customer service is non existent.They messed up my direct debit payments and then blamed the bank! Eventually they admitted fault and i was told i would be contacted to resolve the issue within 48 hrs! 72 hrs later and not a word.Absolute garbage company once youve signed up.Complete disregard for customers.Do not sign up for anything from this company.A family member is having major trouble with tbem also.

I was a phone and Broadband customer of Plusnet. I left Plusnet on 24/06/2019 as a result of moving house and paid the final bill including early termination charges on 01/07/2019. Plusnet then proceed to charge me additional early termination charge at the end of July 2019 which they did not tell me about until 24/06/2020 when I got an email from Plusnet. Plusnet email asked me to get in touch to pay my outstanding balance of £0 on my account within 14 days of have my file referred to a debt colector agency. I got in touch with Plusnet on same day I got their email out of curiousity only to be told that my account had additional £57.08 in respect of additional early termination charges which has now been refered to a credit reference agency. This a a very awful company, with awful billing processes trying to ruin a credit profile I have built up over the years.

Do not trust this awful company. I was unhappy with Plusnet, because they always used to call with better deals and appreciated your custom and that is why I originally stayed loyal to them. After many years of being on contracts, I had foolishly allowed a contract to lapse, no call or email from Plusnet with an offer for a better contract and I was paying full price plus paying the line rental saver. when I realised I was paying over the odds for my broadband I gave Plusnet a call. They offered a rubbish package with only a £5 saving for 18 month, in fact they first tried to tie me in for 24months, which was no good as new customers get a far better deal with line rental saver thrown in. I almost went for it, but after a quick discussion with my husband, we decided against it. I asked the representative to not to go ahead with the 18 month contract and cancel it as I felt I would prefer to leave when the line rental saver was almost up and not be penalised for leaving. I have this call recorded thank goodness! I have just received a bill for £102. They told me I was signed up to an 18 month contract! So even though they could see I was not receiving any reduction on my bill, they charged me the same amount as a non contract customer, then they have gone ahead and penalised me for leaving. Off to the Ombudsman I go with my recording! I am disgusted with them, daylight robbers. This company went downhill many years ago, poor customer service, rude staff, drop outs in connectivity, higher prices. I did not want to stay with them any longer, I think they are despicable trying to take penalty payments for a contract I was never on, never benefiting from any reduction in price, they are scoundrels. If I was elderly, this would still be happening. You would think companies would tighten down on this bad practice, especially during the Covid tragedy. Yet they would seek to rip off a loyal customer of seven years. I repeat, Do not trust this awful company.

if you wish to be scammed and overcharged every month blatantly lied to and spoken to like a piece of dirt by incompetent rude staff like CHETEN (more like cheating) SCUM-net is the go to for the above. Definitely should not be working in customer services.

This must be the worst company ever to deal with. Their customer service is completely shocking. Get passed from pillar to post on hold for ever, never call back when they say they will. Totally incapable of solving an on going issue over months & basically they just don't care. Just keep sending pointless emails saying they have opened a question on the account after every call results in no action. Don't touch them with a mile long bargepole.
