“I have been purchasing the bulk of my wardrobe from Poetry Fashion for the last 10 years. I love the silk cashmere knits, linen knits, and cashmeres. The quality is so good, I still own and wear every item of clothing I ever purchased from Poetry Fashion. Every season I am delighted when I can mix and match things I purchased in previous seasons. Delivery is consistent and fast. On the rare occasions I have called customer service, the service was excellent. Returns are always easy. I am a size 12 and everything I purchase has fit perfectly and consistently.”

“First time customer, wish I'd read these reviews first. TRUST THE SIZING GUIDE! These clothes run large. I am 5'1", 140 lbs, curvy. I wear US 12 and ordered size 12 from Poetry. I am returning all for size 8 to see how these fit. I'm not giving up on Poetry as the colors & fabrics are lovely, packaging fine and delivery speedy.”

“Customer service, well there isn’t any at all. The advisor I spoke to called Maya was extremely unhelpful, rude and unprofessional. Avoid this company. The lady was so rude and instead of listening my concern she was being very difficult.”

“I just received the Spring Summer 2024 Poetry catalog - which was totally unsolicited. Photos show clothing items that appear to be cheaply made, with no thought to forward design and made with fabrics that will not stand the test of time. Suggest that you review your audience prior to sending catalogs.”

“I've been ordering from POETRY FASHION for about a year. I love their stuff but it sizes quite big, so order at least one if not two sizes down. it is quite expensive and they should offer their sales items in the US as well. I did not give them 5 stars because the packaging sucks, the boxes are flimsy and are rarely reusable for returns”

“Overpriced, poor quality, horrible representatives of all women when it comes to catalog. Beige, muddy brown, putty color. Who wears such drab colors with body styles? Not me!!”

“I just received a beautiful teal dress in my usual size. It fits me like a bath robe. I love the fashions and the natural fibers, but they really need to be more realistic about their sizing.”

“I'm sure the products are nice but beware - if you return something you pay for return shipping +++ the original shipping costs. In my case over $20 for one sweater. Will not buy from them again”

“I’ve bought many pieces from this company, but I have trouble making sure my pick is the right color for me. I am a 65 yr old, blonde, blue eyed white woman…I almost never see models with that coloring. Their latest catalog had a white woman, with brown hair, on only 7 or 8 pages, out of a 183 page catalog. To me, even if I didn’t have trouble with the colors, it looks racist. Why can’t we see half and half? There are certain colors I cannot wear against pale or beige skin. A company in the business of designing and selling clothing to women should know that. Very unhappy and am thinking of no longer purchasing from them.”

“Apart from items of clothing not fitting my size Poetry are prompt in delivery and prompt in repayment on returns ! Quality materials ! Quality in style ! What more could a person ask for ? Also ,no problem when returning , served with return label ,then off to Post Office , unlike so May other firms who assume everyone has a printing machine. Thank you Poetry Ann Giles .”

“If you like cheap fabrics and poorly made clothing that doesn’t fit and is way over priced these are the folks fir you. If they fail to send your entire order, they will ask for pictures of what you received and are very slow to give refunds. You have to keep flogging them to get satisfaction. In short not recommended.”

“I have recently made two expensive orders, returned the first because nothing fit - too big - and the second one, the same problem. I have had to return both. Everything from Poetry feels oversized and big. A size 12 dress felt bigger than a 16! It was huge and so much fabric. And the pants are boxy - roomy in the wrong places - and and plain unflattering. The fabrics are lovely, which is why I'm so sad. Everything looks so great on the tall, lithe models in the catalogue but not so much on a size 10/12, 5'4" person. I won't be ordering anything more from Poetry but I will admire the way their clothes look in the catalogue.”

“Amazing !!!! This order from poetry FASHION came from England , but was here faster than stuff coming from the USA ( I live in SC!! ) absolutely top notch material and fit ! Runs large however that’s how I like my Dresses! So I’m 5.5 weigh 190 pounds and ordered a 16 .Could have gotten away with a 14 ! Love the Chilli brown ! Will order different colors! So easy !! Thanks poetry fashion !!!”

“The fabrics drape beautifully, colors a nice mix of fully saturated and more muted. Some styles are a little boxy for me, but returns/exchanges have been easy. Washing instructions are important to follow due to the fabric content - but if followed, they WORK. If I'm paying more for something, I don't mind caring for it properly. Sizing charts are helpful and are tailored to specific garments which I haven't seen elsewhere (thank you, Poetry)”

“received a gift that I didn't care for and wrong size. Could not exchange except for same item, in different color or size, even though I wanted to purchase something more expensive Also could not do an even exchange without refunding original payment and re billing months later, when available. Just too difficult without involving the 96yo gift giver.”

“Poetry Fashion catalogues are beautiful, and the clothes are well made and fashionable. I've bought a lot from them, and my main complaint was that the boxes were flimsy and always arrived broken and unusable for returns; a simple plastic envelope would have been better. Lately, the pants have been unwearable for me: they are featuring wide legs, or full pants with narrow hems - maybe a great look on a tall slender model, but on a short (5'4") 148 lb. women they look absolutely ridiculous - not flattering at all! The new cord trousers in particular have very tight waists (a common problem for Poetry Fashion) and way too much fabric in the hips and in the stomach - also the corduroy has no stretch and is very heavy. The twist linen they use, on the other hand, is fabulous - cool with a nice drape and no wrinkling.”

“I read reviews on the company before ordering for the first time. I like some of the merchandise. I find the catalog to be very nice. I want to order 6 items from their Autumn/Winter Catalog, which is an investment for me. The unfavorable reviews regarding shipping delays, quality, and being affiliated with an undesirable company has changed my mind about ordering with Poetry Fashion. I'll keep looking.”

“Don’t buy from here. I placed an order over a month ago and haven’t received any Updates on the items I purchased. I have also tried to contact them which you can only do via email, no responses. I’ve tried twice. Must be running a scam”

“US EXCLUDED FROM SEASONAL SALES Currently there is a Summer Sale on the UK website for 30% off. Just looking at one item , using the conversion from pound to dollar, it was a couple of dollars last to begin with, $97 It is, now, $60 on the UK site. It is still $99 on the US website. I called to ask about it and was told that US citizens cannot order from the UK website and the US citizens do not get the seasonal sales. There are many items on sale now on the UK website and the website includes a number of items not available in the US.”
