AVOID AVOID AVOID Regardless of the covid situation these people should not be allowed to continue trading as they take your money and then ignore you and are using covid as an excuse.They have a premium phone number and that should have been a flag for me but like others I didn’t read the reviews as I was so impressed with the website and they’re a big company right?Ive tried several numbers with no success and surely like many other companies the staff should be working remotely(if they have any)?I have wasted so much time on these people and if they exist they should be ashamed of themselves at their treatment of paying customers.

AVOID. They are happy to take the money and then fail to deliver on time or communicate with the customer. I am taking action to recover my money. I tried contacting them by phone - it was a recorded message saying that due to COVID they are not taking telephone enquiries (how convenient!). If you e-mail them, you get an automated response and a promise that someone in the sales team will get back to you within 24-48 hours. Eight days later and I'm still waiting.

DO NOT DEAL WITH POWER DIRECT I would give them NO stars if I could I placed the order and paid and have heard nothing for 2 months All email enquiries from me get their automated response - we will get back to you. They haven't done so Their phone lines are unmanned "due to the coronavirus pandemic". Does a phone call threaten your staff with the virus Power Direct? You are cheats. I have reported you to trading standards via citizens advice and have taken steps to get a charge back via my credit card company My advice is to avoid this business at all costs

If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a fridge from powerdirect, and despite it saying that it is available online and delivery is within 5 working days, they only informed me that it would be available in 6 weeks after contacting them myself. I am now trying to get a refund, and have been awaiting for a response since beginning of December. Customer service is shambles, I would go elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

I brought a fridge freezer on 10.10.20, waited 4 weeks, got a call from the sales department saying that the supplier is not returning their call. So the offered me another one which was different. I asked for a refund which they agreed. To date I have yet to receive my money and delivery cost. All calls go to a voice mail, saying to email them. All email is return from their automated service. To date no refund and no communication from them. Avoid, avoid, avoid, honestly is disgusting.

As with many reviews i ordered a TV which they said was in stock. Received my receipt into my in box. Only to be told 48 hours later that they didn't stock that item and that i needed to cancel! How i was meant to cancel something which they didn't even have to give i do not know, but i did so. Nine weeks on i am still to receive my money back. There is never anyone to answer the phones and nothing but automated responses to any communications. As far as i can tell this company have taken my money fraudulently. I urge people not to do business with this company.

Ordered a wine cooler on 29th September which was paid for that day. It wasn't until after the transaction went through that it said it was out of stock. The item was eventually delivered on 5th December! Had no response to emails chasing where the item was. On delivery the glass in the wine cooler was completely smashed to pieces. Now no response to emails requesting a replacement even though you have to report damage within 48 hours. Appalling and dishonest company. In discussion now with the credit card company. Do NOT use this company.

Ordered item that said it was in stock, after purchasing it became special order with no date given. Recycling of old machine was mentioned during checkout but then was told this was not possible. So cancelled order and got a reply saying they will refund within 10-12 working days, needless to say after 12 working days there has been no refund. You are unable to phone and emails are rarely replied to. Avoid them at all cost!

I am absolutely disgusted with the service..... My son ordered an American freezer in June and was told it would be delivered within 2 weeks after 2 weeks no delivery. He called to ask why their answer was it was out of stock and would have to wait for the next delivery to arrive 4 weeks later no freezer called again still not arrived... now into December still not arrived. shame on you my son is a single working dad of two sons it's very difficult as he has to shop every day

Avoid this company! They didn't provide the dishwasher I ordered on 31st Aug. I chased continuously but only received vague updates via email (no one answers the phone). By 11th November I'd had enough so I requested a refund and received an automated email to say I would receive refund within 10-12 working days. A month later I still haven't received my refund or an update on when the refund will be received (despite chasing them). I have now contacted Citizens Advice and my Bank regarding next steps. It's best you save yourself the hassle and buy from elsewhere.

Same experience as all the others. They have taken the money for a TV that was supposed to be delivered 5-7 days. That time has passed, they have not responded to any of my emails. Their call centre has closed so quite clearly they are avoiding customers. I will have to now file a claim with the bank to try and retrieve my money. I feel like the message needs to be put out there so that others dont fall into the same trap. PLEASE, please avoid ordering from this company. You have been warned!

AVOID this company - Powerdirect.co.uk - Do not order from them! I ordered a tumble dryer on the 27/11/20 and having looked at a couple of good reviews (must have been fake) and finding the company listed on Quidco I thought it would be safe enough to order from them - don’t be fooled! Since then I have emailed them and received no response and called them several times (08444818820 - tip use the app WeQ4U so you don’t get charged) and the call center just hangs up! Luckily I purchased it on a credit card so will be able to claim my money back.

I ordered something on 7/09 but it didn’t appear.I asked for a refund of my money on 17/11 and I’m still waiting for it.I can’t contact them by phone as they have several numbers which I’ve tried which were not recognised or no reply and the 0844 number informs you that there is nobody available to answer.I’ve sent several emails and still no refund.
