The instructor Olivia Owens was fun and very helpful and put in the time to check on questions the students had, but the website for uploading essays was difficult to upload and get our scores back.

My scores during the course did not go up and the instructor was typically late and off task.

Good teaching (Ben), lots of work and commitment but worth it in the end

The course has good strategies, but it is disorganized and this is the second time I have taken the course. Purchase the books, but not the course.

The strategies didn't really help me but the essay strategies really helped me. I felt like I didn't really improve by taking Prep Expert bur my instructor Ben Smith, guided us through the course well.

It helped me feel more prepared for the SAT. I only gave it three stars though because, as of now, I lack the 200 point increase (and not from a lack of trying, either). If nothing else, the course showed me how to approach and handle questions given to me specifically by the SAT, which really helped my confidence.

There were some good strategies that will probably be really helpful. Ben Smith was dope. He just talks about crossfit WAY too much.

My score went up only one hundred points, so I qualified for the refund. The 99th percentile guarantee is legitimate though because I did receive the refund. Clay was good. They had a problem with the essays though. The grades for the essays were inflated. Honestly, just use 1600.io.

I enjoyed watching every stream of Dan Swanson of Prep expert, but I think Prep expert can improve in getting the students to complete. Since I found it difficult to be motivated to complete the homework. But I will 100% recommend this to a friend.

Found great strategies, Dan is a great instructor and keeps class interesting. However I didn't see the results that I have fully wanted however there is one more test and my score has improved.

I think the course (with instructor Ben) was really helpful in terms of pushing me to practice, but with all the workload, it was hard for me to find time to review the questions I got wrong. I was able to keep up with completing each assignment and the tests, but it felt pointless because all of my time was going into taking new tests. I think it is from this lack of focus on reviewing the problems/concepts I specifically got wrong that my score hasn't improved at all. If there was some days where our homework between classes was to go over our incorrect problems, I think it'd have helped me more. Instead, now after the course is over, I'll go back through every test I took and find my mistakes because I will have time without having to do so many more practice tests. But in terms of the class, it was a lot of fun and the strategies seemed helpful (of course I didn't see any improvement, but..).

its the same concept as an actual classroom its just not as good as 1 on 1 tutoring because there will still be things that u dont get but u cant go over because you will hold the class down i think i would have learned way more if it was a 1 on 1 class where i could just ask the questions i needed. Also ben smith was my tutor

I think PrepExpert has really helpful strategies all explained in their books that helped me raise my score by 150 points. Regarding teachers, I first had Justin Tandon who seemed kinda lost or unsure on how to solve a problem and I felt like my time was being wasted when he would explain relevant strategies that were time consuming. Half way through the course my new instructor was Pranav Samineni who was much more helpful regarding how to approach and solve a problem the fastest. But to improve your score the strategies are more helpful and beneficial than anything an instructor and provide.

In terms of strategy, this class was pretty good. If you apply them, you can do pretty well. Score improvement wasn’t the best but with practice, I’m sure anyone could bring their score up. Justin and Pranav were great at explaining the concepts and what I got wrong. I would recommend this if you currently are getting low scores.

It gave me a lot of practice with the SAT. Taught me some helpful tricks for taking the test, but my instructor was not the best. I had two instructors, and niether was better than the other. One of them was my age and I feel that they did not teach me much. All this course gave me was alot of practice.

Good strategies and straight to the point but, I felt like more review of the practice would really help.

Not gonna lie, the class is pretty expensive, and all of the topics in the classes are also in the prepexpert books which you can read yourself. I don't think they offer the books on their own though, and at the end of the day, I did improve my score, so it's pretty worth it. The strategies were probably the most helpful part because they made me better at time management and choice elimination. My instructor, Celina was also great in explaining difficult topics in the homework.
