“Pros:
The bracelet is an unusual design and has screws in the links.
The finishing on the case is intricate and good quality.
It's a good design, good size and weight, and art on the caseback is nice.
The Miyota movement sweeps super smooth and keeps really good time.
There is an adjuster on the clasp that allows quick size adjustment of the bracelet.
Cons:
The decorative cuts on the bezel are not burnished. They feel sharp to the touch.
The lume is absolutely terrible. You can barely see it after exposing it to bright light and trying to see it in total darkness.
The bracelet can be removed without tools and there is no flip-lock. I suppose that will be good for some people since it will be easy to clean. I think this bracelet is so unique it will be impossible to get replacement parts. I guess some people will like that too.
-1 star for the terrible lume.”
“The watch arrived yesterday on time. Over all it's a nicely made watch but with some sharp edges on the bracelet and at the start of the crown guards. Also feels a little rough across the top of the fixed bezel. The finish is well-executed and the watch feels well-balanced on the wrist. The on-the-fly clasp is a welcome addition. Would recommend the watch to anyone looking for something different from the standard dive watch.”
“The Jamanta is a really nice watch with a beautiful dial. The watch is quite big but sits very well on the wrist. The bracelet is nice looking but a bit stiff. It would have been nice if the bracelet would articulate a bit more but it fits well with on the fly adjustment. Overall I really like the watch and could see myself buying another color of the Jamanta.”
