Dragons den made it out to be the best thing since sliced bread. Exactly the same as all the other non dairy and vegan brands. Flavourless, full of fat and leaves you with a horrible after taste.

Hi Harry Sorry to hear your feedback. We did have an issue with some of our manufacturing equipment which did affect some of our bars which has now been fixed but some stock was sent out by mistake. Let us know your order number and we will organise replacements. Regards fat content. The fat in chocolate comes from cocoa butter and is made up of equal amounts of oleic acid (a heart-healthy monounsaturated fat also found in olive oil), stearic and palmitic acids. Research shows that stearic acid has a neutral effect on cholesterol, neither raising nor lowering it. Team Heavenly

The chocolate is lovely and highly recommended but the service is poor. I ordered a gift box which included 2 day tracked delivery but it didn't arrive in 2 days and they only way to contact the company is via email which they ignore. I hate companies who don't publish phone numbers. Why are they scared to talk to customers?

Extremely disappointed by this chocolate, 0 stars if I could! I bought the fruit&nut and banana chocolate. The banana one had no taste of banana, just tasted like dark chocolate. Both were horrible, would not recommend. Also wen receiving Emily’s that I didn’t sign up to

I was promised a replacement order weeks and weeks ago as my first delivery tasted awful. This replacement order has never arrived, despite replying to their promotional email they sent me. Really wanted to support this company but it’s turned out to be a disappointing service. (Order 59616)

Ordered from this cowboy company which took them 2 and a half months to receive my order. They did not take any responsibility, just blamed Royal Mail. Chocolate is DISGUSTING & the salted caramel tasted more like mint!....yes it was contaminated. Since then I have sent 3 emails which have all been ignored. I can't wait for this company to fail and rightfully so!!!!

Unfortunately we had a large number of orders go missing with Royal Mail over the Christmas period which were replaced as soon as we became aware. Waited a long time for my order like many other people who saw it on Dragons Den. I bought LOADs of it in all flavors and it all tastes terrible. The dark/plain is just about ‘ok’ to pass as chocolate but the rest is a joke and nothing like a decent chocolate. It’s far from heavenly. I had mint, orange, caramel, silk, fruit and nut and plain. Universally disliked by everyone who has tried it. Whatever Peter Jones has eaten before to think this is amongst the best he’s ever had must have been truly awful. Any chocolate I’ve ever tried before is better tasting. Shame.

Sadly I have to report that I have the same bad experience of some other recent reviewers. Despite a very, very long wait for my initial order I was delighted when it arrived as it was absolutely delicious - I thought I'd found a new favourite. I liked it so much so that I placed another larger order to give, in part, as Christmas presents. I tried a couple of bars of salted caramel from this second order over a week ago and they were really awful, not at all like the chocolate from my initial order. One bar of salted caramel had a grainy-looking, pale bloom on the back of the bar and was horribly sandy in texture and tasted very salty and really unpleasant...and concerningly made my mouth tingle weirdly. On trying the second bar it looked fine but also tasted horribly salty and unpleasant. Neither bar was anything like thise in my original order and both were inedible. I am quite concerned that the bars I have given as Christmas presents are also not good. Extremely disappointingly I've emailed Heavenly Chocolate twice in the last week about this and sent photos of the "faulty" bars and have had absolutely no response, nothing. Terrible product (now) and terrible customer service...a world away from the Heavenly Chocolate that was so well promoted on Dragons' Den.

Totally disgusting and not a substitute! The fruit and nut bar had white powder residue all over it which proves it was not manufactured / stored correctly and another bar had not printed expiry date or batch number. There is NO SATISFACTION whatsoever with these chocolate bars. After buying every flavour and bar in a sale, I’m in deep regret as I do not have a method is reporting my findings with pictures or returning for a full refund! NOT HAPPY!

Ordered recently and have only tried the milk chocolate so far. The chocolate itself is covered in a white bloom, and unfortunately tastes nothing like the first chocolate I ordered from you. It tastes powdery and has a strange aftertaste. I expect the cooling effect of erythritol but this tastes quite unpleasant. Has the recipe if ingredient list changed? Not impressed with this.

Ordered a package of every flavour, they all tasted disgusting - an awful chemical taste. Had a rely to my bad review with some cock and bull story about something being wrong with the production process and them sending me replacements. I sent my order number as requested and had a reply saying I would be sent more. That was months ago and still nothing. This company is clearly in some trouble and I suspect the good reviews on here are possibly fake.

Ordered 4 bars and couldn't wait to try it. After waiting along time, which i didn't mind because i understood about the demand after dragons den. But when they did arrive i cant say that they were a success. As i had ordered different bars to try i thought there might be at least one i liked but unfortunately they all left a saccharin after taste in the mouth and i couldn't get rid of it for awhile. I hate writing bad reviews especially for up and coming entrepreneurs. And i very much wanted to support a new business but i cant recommend the chocolate, for me the taste just wasn't right. Ive read some of the replies about faulty machinery but I'm not sure which my batch came from, as when i received mine i had waited along time and i was told that the problems had been solved. I wouldn't like to think what the previous batch tasted like. sorry.

Understand about reason for delay but my gripe is the product itself. Texture was gritty especially the Silk variety. All of the varieties were virtually tasteless and didn’t melt in your mouth like conventional or diabetic chocolate. Gave three of my friends some to try and asked them their opinions but didn’t say what I thought before they themselves had tried some. All of them said much the same as me. Don’t buy these and waste your money.

I received 3 bars of their Chocolate as a Christmas present from my GF, I have quickly just looked at the reviews and someone has pretty much summed up my opinion.. Not a great intial taste but thought I'd give it a chance and have a few more squares, Has left a vile after taste in my mouth and tbh made me feel sick after dinner. I would not recommened, Over priced and taste is disgusting not worth quater of the price they charge and I wouldn't have another bar if it was given to me free.

I ordered bars on 26th October and I still have not received my order. I chased this as was told they were overwhelmed with orders so I should allow 3 weeks. It's been 8 weeks plus and now I don't have a Christmas present for my diabetic uncle. That kind of service simply isn't good enough.

Did your best to deliver in spite of a deluge of orders.Advent calenders were badly designed and chocolate was ok but nothing special.Salted caramel was quite unpleasant and none of my family could eat it.After all the hype was very disappointed with my purchase as no one liked it. Maybe you need to tweak the recipe a bit to make it a little more palatable. There are many brands out there who produce very high quality chocolate at reasonable prices - afraid would not buy again but wish you the best of luck in the future.
