Short answer, it's a frustrating experience that leaves you stuck and disappointed with nonrefundable credits, 0/5 would not recommend. Long answer, I've been using Rebus on an off for years. I only come back because I have nonrefundable credits that I don't want wasted. The customer service is quick, responsive and generally helpful (They need to be because of all the other issues that you will encounter throughout the process). The farm and plugins on the other hand are unreliable and inconsistent. You will be left with trust issues about jobs completing correctly and on time and need to spend hours constantly monitoring renders and refreshing the control center through the app or web. There is no way you can just set it and forget it by rendering something overnight and have any level of confidence frames will be there in the morning to composite. If there are errors with your jobs and you don't notify them immediately they will not refund the cost of the render. I really want to recommend the service because if you're lucky enough to have your file render correctly the service does work and is quick. Unfortunately it's not always speed that matters, it's trust and reliability that the service will be there when you need it most. Don't count on Rebus to save you if you are in need of last minute renders (as we all experience). Anyone who has used Rebus for some time can vouch this and as you can see from other reviews this isn't an isolated experience. I would be sceptical that the 5/5 reviews are made by anyone who have completed more than a few jobs via Rebus and question their authenticity.

Hi, Can you please specify your frustration with our service? We try to understand what went wrong in your case and looked into your account: What we see is that you had some render jobs on the farm in the last days. Those are the first ones since 2017. All of these jobs went through just fine. There were no errors, you got the output and you downloaded it all. We do not understand why you wrote this bad review about our service. The product is excellent. By far the easiest most reliable and fasted renderfarm I've used. Rebusdrop makes life very easy The customer service is responsive and helpful as well. I'm emailed with Nadine in marketing and she was incredibly kind and even took the time to ask about what I was making

I bought some credits so I could evaluate Rebusfarm cloud render service. I sent a rendering to the farm and left to go home from work. When I returned in the morning it was still rendering and it had drain $1,200 credits/dollars from my account. I canceled it and called the support. They had me send the scene and would evaluate the scene to see what happen. I decided to render the scene locally to see how long it would take. It took my system 2 hours and 38 minutes to render. The scene ran for over 18 hours on their farm before I stopped it. They said it was my render settings that caused it to take so long on their farm and I would not be getting the credits back. They could not explain why with the same rendering setting it only took 2 hours and 38 minutes on my systems that are 5 years old. This is a clear cut scam. They drain your money and blame it on you. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR THIS SERVICE.

I used Rebus renderfarm service for a while a few years ago. I had some spare credit which I paid into my account for possible future use. I then came to a point where I was able to render some projects by myself so naturally asked Rebus for my spare money back that I didn't need to spend at that time. I would have been happy to use Rebus in the future had they simply just reimbursed me and said something like 'we look forward to the next time you come back to us'. They simply refused to reimburse me and said i was welcome to use them at a future date. For this reason, and this reason alone, I shall never use them again, until they do the right thing. I have told, and will continue to tell, many colleagues, and other industry professionals, about my experience. They can make their own minds up but I know that many do not use rebus, as and when external computer assistance is needed. The whole episode just stinks of greed to me. Very short sighted business attitude.

Hi, We are sorry about your frustration with the refund system. It is the standard, where you have a 14 day right of revocation. Any payback requested within that time period is refunded by us right away and without questions. But please also understand that it is not possible to refund all payments that have been made years back. Your RenderPoints never expire and you are always welcome to use them. Hello. I’m using RebusFarm for a week now (with 3Ds Max) and I’m very pleased about the impeccable service they guys and the hardware provides. To begin with, the speed of the farm is persistently lighting fast. The web based control center is very easy and user friendly to use. Everything you need is under your fingertips at a glance. The purchase of render points and the payment of it is super easy and fast. Support is personal, friendly and very service oriented. Furthermore, the Farminizer software plugin is well designed, thorough in error detecting before rendering and of course just as user friendly as the control center. I was a bit reluctant about rendering external because of former render- speed- and service issues at other Render farms. How good to experience that finally RebusFarm is a render service that lives up to what it sells: service, render speed, impeccable support and last but not least: a friendly voice when calling for support. In this day and age of chatbots and ever-decreasing personal communication, the guys at Rebusfarm make you feel taken seriously and human at the phone. I recommend Rebusfarm because I would like everyone in the industry to experience the surprise they give in living up to expectations and giving absolutely value for your money. Happy rendering! RebusFarm is a great addition to your overal workflow when you need fast rendering and are working with a team of freelancers spread over different locations. It works with a surprisingly user friendly plugin which uploads, renders and downloads the rendered 3D files for you. Very friendly customer service. They supported my short film Gerontophobia which I can't be more grateful for. I will definitely use RebusFarm again!

Excellent support! Hugo helped me for several hours not only with their service but with my scene and setup!! He is very patient and knowledgeable. After we fixed all my problems in the scene - the project (animation) was rendered in a few minutes! Thank you very much! :)

Rebus is a perfect tool for people offering any 3d services! but best of all, its their close and warm attention. They have even saved my university semester once since my laptop died without any backups, and rebus team kindly send my files i uploaded. They are always willing to help! Costs are inconsistants with the same scene and camera, too many problems with large scenes. Need to delete previous job, because their system randomly decides not to render current job because it share same textures with another rendered job. That means, I need to rename sometimes 30 textures files (when I know all other textures are shared with previous job). I once sent a job after having deleted all previous job on their system and got the same problem. So their plugin / online system is not working properly, and they won't provide a proper answer. Also they once deleted an already rendered job without my consent(I had hoppefully downloadedit before) to make my current project able to start rendering. So they know they have a major problem, but unable to tell us the truth. I don't recommand this when you need to render something quick. It may work, you may be happy, but from my point of view, it's not reliable. At all.

Hello, We took a closer look at this matter and made a few changes. As long as the texture has the same name and the same size there should not be a problem. We also run some tests and were not able to reproduce the error. We would like to know if this problem persists, if so please send a ticket to our support team, so that we can take care of it. I work with RebusFarm a long time ago, and in this time I was test other Renderfarms, but Rebus is my first choice. Is Fast, Secure, Accessible all time (Mobile App or Web Account administration) and his Software is the best in this scetor, to send and check scenes with the new Rebusfarm 3.0 Software Rebusfarm Contact support. 100% recomended.

Have been using Rebusfarm for the past 2 years and the experience i have had is more than satisfied! They have exceeded my expectations. They are a serious company with professionals. The plugin they developed offers you smooth sailing for newbies and their rates are one of the best ! Also plugins for most 3d software are all incorporated into Rebusfarm base. I've been using RebusFarm for years. I recently switched from 3DS Max/Vray to 3DS Max/Redshift. It renders on the farm extremely fast and reliable. Despite the complex process, there are rarely any problems. But if something hasn't rendered as it should - the guys from the support-team help immediately.

Started rendering, paid for credits, chose a highest priority level. "608 frames waiting to render" in 30 minutes it was 609.

Somehow they can't manage to get anything right, complex arch scenes won't render at all and they can't tell me why. MASH networks do not compute properly. I don't need render help on simple scenes. If they can't render complex stuff, what's the point?

Time is precious for my work and that is why i did choose Rebusfarm from many other renderfarms online.Support is very fast and great, very simple to upload files with plugin and you do not have to do no further steps. Rebus farm will sure be my number one choice. www.sciontidesign.com

Gerph was SUPER helpful on the live chat. a REAL HUMAN. :D As first time users - we had a few issues to get through - but the Rebus system is very good and every issue we had was resolved within the hour. Its great that you can render in layered .exr through the vray frame buffer - (other render farms don't offer this support!) The in app plugin works well - and does what it needs to - (gathering and preparing our max scene for upload onto servers) - no complaints there. everything is automated smoothly - payments - invoices - account updates - all seemless. am happy to have used your services!
