We have a new Regency insert Ci1150 and it doesn't heat 200 sq ft.. Worst stove ever and expensive. I wouldn't recommend buying this at all. The top pipes fall out constantly and you have to be within 5 feet of the stove to feel anything. We have a small house, small and it is terrible..

Please read before buying. I had a Regency Fireplace insert installed 2 years ago. Nothing but problems. After my 2nd burn year I asked the install company to come clean and troubleshoot. Please note they were out in year 1 as well. They discovered the catalytic converter was toasted. After further review they found a manufacture flaw. The flaw - the backing plate for the damper was installed backwards per Regency schematics. Regency response? They said our schematics are wrong we need to fix that. They refuse to replace or fix the stove. My next step is to try to work with the install company for resolution. After that I will contact my credit card company and see if they can help. Finally, why 2 stars - well the stove looks nice. Stay away from the headache of these stove.

Without a doubt, the worst fireplace I have ever purchased. Professionally installed. Takes forever to get to burn dry hardwood. Will not draw properly. If you’ve got at least one hour to spend in trying to get it to burn, by all means purchase this piece of rubbish.

The regency wood burning insert w the catalytic converter fills my home with strong smelling smoke and leaks into house ruining everything from around the outside of the insert. Regency doesn’t know what’s wrong and won’t fix the $7500 purchased regency insert to work properly

We had a Chicago City Series fireplace installed couple years ago and have not seen it working even once. Company is not honoring the warranty and customer service is non existence. Worse service of all the companies we dealt with during or custom build. Never again.

The unit work great had a few issues the fan didn't work and the thermostat on the remote stoped working everything was fixed !!

It is warm and enjoyable to watch. It was installed on time, fairly neatly. It has not reduced our electric bill.

It is as well built as our previous Regency stove which served us for many many years and the catalytic feature is especially useful
