Been with Roboform since the very beginning (have 4 paid licenses) and now is time for me to sadly say whatever this new silliness is about, is not what got my attention and money. I will be looking for a new service that keeps my intel on my computer without having to jump through hoops to make sure it stays on that computer from the very get-go install. I wish you (whoever you are now) the best, but some of us know how to do daily/weekly backups and hence, cherish our intel staying private and in our hands, not on some server somewhere that we have no control over.

Additionally, rest assured, your RoboForm data always remains secure as all decryption of your RoboForm data happens on your device and not on our servers. I purchased Roboform years ago for $19.99 this last year I have had nothing but problems with Roboform. Every other day it tell my my "tree trail has expired" and now doesn't work with my Mac I have had nothing but issues in fact now trying to get the extension to work. In total I have spent 20-30 hours in 30 days talking to "Support" that sends me the same fixes over and over and over again. Then I purchased Roboform again thinking it would solve the problems (it didn't) so I asked for money back NOW there saying I never paid for it. Its been nothing but a horrible experience the last 2 months and if not solved soon we will be looking for another application. Used to be an amazing service and we recommended now we tell people don't waist you money. We will also be posting on App reviews for Apple to prevent others from paying for something that frankly now doesn't work. You would think after reviewing my account (at least 7-10 years using) they would just fix it OR give us a free upgrade since we paid and now it says were using the "free" Robo form I am telling you its been a joke!

Additionally, we see that you're currently working with our support team regarding the technical issues you're experiencing. We have escalated your ticket in an effort to resolves the issue ASAP. Please note, following your refund, you may have downloaded and installed RoboForm and thus received a free 30 day trial of RoboForm Everywhere. Upon trial expiration, RoboForm reverts to Free mode. You’ll never need to remember or type your passwords again. Rubbish! I bought Roboform Everywhere, but I always have to sign in? Their support is useless forget it ! I lost everything and it is impossible to recover my lost accounts they

Hi John - we'd certainly like to dig a bit deeper into your review to determine what went wrong. In regard to password recollection, RoboForm only requires you to remember your Master Password, which contains the key that unlocks your data. You may store your password in Windows Protected Storage via the RoboForm Security settings. This will stop the consistent Master Password prompts. Additionally, we do see that you submitted a support ticket back in October regarding the loss of your data and a reply was issued the same day. If you are still unable to access your data given the information we've provided, please reply to the existing ticket so our support team may continue to assist. Please note, if you have forgotten your Master Password, it cannot be recovered, but it can be reset. Well, data entered, but RoboForm uses them not the way I entered them. Have to do most of the stuff as if I hadn't RoboForm. Kind of useless tool.

RoboForm makes it almost impossible to shut it off. If you want to talk to someone to find out why you have been billed for their services YET again, finding a person to talk to so far has been impossible. I tried it 3 years ago, did not like it, and they continue to bill me despite trying to turn it off. I did turn off the AUTO bill feature. Beware, you have to opt out, rather than opt in, so they can slip the charge through.

I had to reset my computer today after an update three weeks ago and this is my first time to not be able to sign in on it or use it after trying my sign in 4 times. And I paid for this??

Hi Rick - it appears as though you recently upgraded to version 8. Please note the login credentials for V8 are different. You will now log in with your email address and Master Password. Cannot get renewal to work. Customer service horrible. Lost all data trying to solve using their suggestion. Spent hours trying to solve problem, but still asking for another payment after sending them receipt.

Terrible customer service. A recent faulty release of Roboform deleted ALL my passwords and user names. I am unable to run RoboForm because the set up program asks me for my master password. But, the master password was deleted along with the data files. So far customer service has not been able to help. They just keep telling me to read the online files. I've done all that, but nothing works. I've tried to call, but after holding for an hour, the system hung up on me. I can't begin to tell you what a disaster it is to lose about 75 login entries. But, no one at Roboform gives a damn about a problem that they created. I have been using Roboform for about 8 years, possibly longer. I will never recommend this program to anyone. It' a total waste.

My system updated to Windows 10 build 17738.rs5. Now, Roboform does not work with Edge. That was bad enough, but then I tried to report it and your website gave me 5 minutes to enter a verification number that took 6 or 7 minutes to arrive. What an exasperating experience. Then I sent a message to support@roboform.com. To me, the message is "Don't bother us. We don't need you!)

I do not want RoboForm pro! Every time I try to use the program version 7.6.4 a message telling me to update to a newer version. How can to stop from being harassed every time I want to try to use RoboForm If I wanted to try to update the program I would however I do not want to update at this time.

Hi there - To stop the prompts, please click the RoboForm icon, go to your options, and select "versions." From there you can uncheck the box that reads "Notify about new versions."

Deleted IMPT logins. Fix list is Long and not helpful. Then RF blamed Google bad biz practices. I paid for Pro.

It worked fine till I paid for the service, then I lost ALL of my stored passwords. Started reinstalling and not only does it still not work I can't read what they were replaced with. My advice, get away from the program.

Been a happy user for 10 years...... BUT NO LONGER! Cannot log into support unless I change my email address. Cannot change email address before logging in. Told support my new address to which they responded, telling me to log in! CATCH 22!!!!!!!!!!! Now support just bounces my email messages without any help. Last reply was ..... The response from the remote server was: 553 5.3.0 ... TO CONTACT ROBOFORM SUPPORT GO TO HTTP://SUPPORT.ROBOFORM.COM AND LOGIN TO SUPPORT SYSTEM

What went wrong? Everything! I just spent the last half hour writing about my problems and why the 1-star review. I wrote several paragraphs explaining so much and why Support is a joke. I moved my mouse or something, and the entire dialogue disappeared. My last paragraph talked about leaving Roboform completely even though I recently renewed my subscription and looking into another Password Manager program that had better support. I am too tired to expand and try to recreate all that I said, which was mostly not favorable. It had everything to do with a lack of support and my attempt to upgrade from Ver 7 to Ver 8. BIG MISTAKE! Question? If you are having a password problem, how on earth do you expect your customer to login into Support to set up a ticket? Hello, you need a password, just to get support. Very frustrated and if I can't get my problem resolved, I will ask for a refund for what I paid in advance and Check Consumer Reports which did a review of Password Managers recently. I am at the point that I want someone from Roboform to contact me directly. Let's see if that happens.

I had an old version of Roboform that did not need a web login, which only uses locally stored identities that I liked. Now Roboform is forcing you to use a web-based authentication that does not Work with my Companys Proxy server and policies

In version 7, there is a Master Password and a RoboForm Online Account (comprised of a user ID and password). In RoboForm 8, the separate RoboForm Online Account User ID and Password have been combined into a single RoboForm Account using your email and the Master Password. While RoboForm 8 does require account creation (assuming one does not already exist), you do not need to sync to the cloud. RoboForm for Free allows you to use RoboForm as you previously did, keeping your data local while experiencing many new and improved features and functionalities. To compare RoboForm Free vs. Everywhere, please click here: https://www.roboform.com/everywhere. If you'd like to revert back to local mode, please turn off sync. This can be done by clicking on the RoboForm icon >> Sync >> unchecking "Automatic Sync."

Roboform hasn't worked on my computer for three days days. I contacted support by submitting a ticket, email and tried calling. Support did email the next morning, but their response was canned and didn't relate to my problem at all. I tried contacting them again but haven't received a response in well over 24 hours. Very frustrating. They advertise premium 24/7 support.

I've used RoboForm for years and up until today I've only had good things to say. However for some reason, my password will not work and I cannot get anyone on the support line. I was on hold listening to hold music for 17 minutes waiting for help (I was told that I was #5 in line), when the phone started ringing which I took as a good sign. NOT, I was transferred to voice mail and told to leave a message. I cannot get into my account where all my passwords are stored, and thus cannot get into my credit card account or my banking account. I do not want to change passwords on everything just because RoboForm is having a problem, but for a company that keeps such valuable personal information, they should answer calls more swiftly or at minimum have a live chat I could use to get an immediate answer. BS!!! Unless they handle this quickly, I'll find another password service, there are lots of them out there!!!!!!!!
