Time to pull the plug on this mickey mouse institution. A complete waste of time. All other services/couriers make the Royal mail look a joke. The general public is slowly but surely tiring of your incompetence. Strikes at the busiest time of year is unforgivable. Close it down...

Royal Mail is a joke, they work half a day and have the audacity to combine about wages!! Try doing 10/12 hours a day and getting paid a pittance, then tell me your hard done by!! Mick Lynch and his Strikes and Pickets are pathetic!!!

the tracked heart medication for my dog has not been delivered despite saying it was due days ago. He is now without this essential medication. The Royal Mail tracking is currently offline as well A disgusting company and I do not have any support whatsoever for their strike action. I will do my best to get pet drugs online to use a different carrier, after informing them of this problem.

as a small business owner ... every large letter I paid postage for with Royal Mail and sent via a Tracked and Signed for delivery service always showed up on their website as "We've Got It" ... even after weeks and weeks and even months later when I put the Tracking number in it showed up on on their website as 'Weve Got It" ... so you will pay extra for Tracked delivery and be given a tracking number by the post office but you will never ever know if the recipient received it or not. The whole point of sending Tracked is to give you proof the buyer has received it. A huge, huge, relief for me was finding out about other couriers and because of this I have no more stress when posting my items now.

An already poor company rapidly going on atrocious. Happy to take your money for services they're currently NOT performing e.g. Special Delivery, 24 hour, 48 hour etc. I've paid for multiple orders to be delivered with 24 hour services, none of which have even left the depot in over 3 days. Expected a significant parcel to be delivered today with specific instructions for it to be left in a certain place only to find out while at work the postal agent has marked the delivery as 'Attempted but no answer'. Either the people they have working for them can't understand basic English or they're just plain stupid. Don't know how they DARE have the nerve to strike when they're utterly useless at their jobs to begin with. Absolute workshy jobsworths.

As a postie, the company is failing because of gross mis-management and greed from the top board.Taking everything they can from the money pot, wringing it dry, then employing 'inept ceo's,boardroom incompetent staff' that have never done the job, then coming up with ideas to make them more money for a service that has been ruined.Staff are leaving in droves, new contracts for new starters are atrocious, leaving the staff that are there to try to pick up the pieces, trying to deliver twice as much delivery items that cannot be done in our scheduled time.Management decision again. They are clueless.Morale is virtually nil,the staff no longer go the extra mile, frankly it will never return.Company I'm afraid is run to fail,500 Yrs old,its embarrassing.......

No words to describe it. You deserve to get sacked after having ruined the Christmas plans of many people. It you are unhappy with your work conditions you should leave your role to people willing to work and do a good job!

Nothing has gone right for months with Royal Mail. Everything I have ordered in good time for Christmas has not arrived. One order dated 8th November has still not arrived and the seller keeps fobbing me off with promises and asking me to be patient, but it is Royal Mail that hasn't delivered. Gifts ordered four weeks ago and being sent via a tracked service (48 hour) are stuck in remote sorting offices and not moving, so what about Christmas presents not arriving in time? Evri and Amazon are more reliable and trustworthy so I will not be using Royal Mail again. I have not posted any Christmas cards this year as the stamps cost twice as much as the cards and they don't get delivered, how pointless is that? Disgusted. I used to be a proud Royal Mail employee, as was my husband, but I would be ashamed to work for Royal Mail now

Total waste of space , sent my passport off in plenty of time , paid for special delivery and recorded and what a suprise it never arrived lost by useless royal mail . Now costing me a small fortune getting replacement documents. I have sent with more reliable courier and has been delivered on time but holiday now in some doubt. Can't even do your job right and you want a pay rise. Useless service from useless people.

After 1hr on hold, told by customer services my Tracked 24 parcel has been in Bristol mail centre for so long (16 days) it is likely 'missing' left out in the yard for rats and foxes, and that I would be 'fortunate' if it arrives at all??

SACK THE STRIKERS. ROYAL MAIL WORKERS ARE ON AGOOD WAGE COMPARED TO ALOT OF WORKING PEOPLE. WHAT EXACTLY ARE THE WORK FORCE EXPECTATIONS IN REGARDS TO THE PAY RISE. THEY HAVE BEEN OFFED 9% PLUS BETTER BENEFITS. DELAYS IN PARCELS THAT WILL EFFECT ALOT OF UNHAPPY KIDS AT CHRISTMAS. WELL DONE GUYS AND GALS. HOPE YOUR ALL PROUD. THE BOSSES HAVE MADE IT CLEAR THAT THE LATEST PAY OFFER WAS THE LAST. WITH ONLY 2 WEEKS TO CHRISTMAS DO YOU REALLY THINK IT WILL BE SORTED. I PERSONALLY THINK ALOT OF THE STRIKE FORCE SHOULD START TO LOOK FOR BEW JOBS. BECAUSE LAYOFFS AND REDUNDANCY IS COMING THERE WAY.

Two parcels from different companies lost! I ordered one parcel in October and one November. An important delivery which was sent on 11 November only received yesterday 13 December. This is not good enough! No wonder the general public have little sympathy for your strike when it's us you sre hurting with your industrial action and diabolical service.

Absolutely sick to death of this company as they are not fit for purpose but have no choice as no other companies in my area operate. 2 customers yesterday opened up a not received item case on ebay, and guess what there will be more and i will be well out of pocket. They try and make out the public are with them?, what planet are they on. When this is all over they should sack the instigators and layabouts. Do not use Jurassic union people then rewrite contracts stating no strikes. If you do not like it then move on and cause trouble somewhere else. We all had this in the 70s/80s with unions stirring it up and holding the country to ransom and we do not want to return there. They are hell bent on self destruction.

Dreadful service - starting to believe that Royal Mail should be disbanded and the Royal Warrant removed. My poor experience is not an isolated incident and telephoning customer services is a joke - the worst (no understatement) customer service experience I have ever received from a company. I will endeavour to avoid Royal Mail for now on.

First class signed for is supposed to arrive within 24 to 48 hours. I have now been informed by an uncaring cold hearted girl who fully understood the circumstances that's it's up to 29 days. My parcel is holding photographs that an elderly man who is very ill is looking forward to receiving. They should refund money when the parcel is delayed

Royal Mail have had years to get their act together. Test they fall way behind compared to other firms. Why with their tracking it only tells you when a delvery has been attempted! does tracking not mean track an item from start to finish They have got to improve as they now have completion that leaves them standing.

We moved into a temporary address until our house was ready. Paid £84 for the redirection of our families letters. We were waiting for something very important, sent out on the 6th October, first class. On the 15th October I had a message from the lady who bought our old house to say letters were still going to our old address. I rearranged for the company of the letter I needed to be re sent. This was on 17th October, again first class. its 22nd October and wasn’t in todays post. Just hope it arrives Monday. First class is no longer next working day.
