All round excellent service! I have used SafetyNet since last Summer and found it a great addition to my current account. The application was straightforward and when needed the money is transferred within 15 minutes. On a couple of occasions I have needed to call their customer services team and again they are helpful and knowledgeable. All round great service!

Initially a very good service, fast and efficient but after one blip after changing jobs it all fell apart. Use with caution.

This company is in its last days and it’s working some form of scam. Between 2013-2016 I took loans with SafetyNet which should never have been allowed, recently I have a complaint upheld in which they owed me just under £2,000 in interest/charges, compensation and interest from the that period. They are no refusing to pay me back my money after several weeks stating ‘no timeframe’ for repayment and that I shouldn’t send to the financial ombudsman because they will pay. They blamed ‘illness’ before Christmas, now they are blaming the ‘festive period’ for the delays and no timeframe. But after some time I found from someone in their customer service that they are preparing for administration and will likely never pay me back for the complaint. During such an awful time where so many people are struggling it’s incredible that they would literally go out of their way to delay paying back to people they owe, hoping that the administration process will kick in and they won’t have to. I’ve never seen something so heartless.

Avoid. See the Debt Camel Website for more information on making an affordability complaint against this disgusting company.

Unprofessional, when they get it wrong they stall and stall to avoid paying what they owe. When they admit fault they can not to basic maths like addition and multiplication. They delay and lie about when they pay what they owe. avoid at all costs.

Company changed their processes in a way which means they can no longer communicate with some banks - without communicating these changes to their customer base. Their solution rather than maintaining the systems currently used with the banks that do not use the new systems, is to suggest that people change banks or close their accounts - after enticing them in with ever increasing credit limits.
