“We started off day 1 in Corfu port overnight due to late arrivals. So missed out on visiting one of the ports. The only time you have air conditioning in your cabin is when the generator is operating. This is generally during the day when sailing or when the chef is cooking. Sleeping in the cabins during the night is unbearable, almost to the point of impossible. There is hardly any air coming through and is quite claustrophobic. The majority of passengers slept upstairs on bench seats and sunbeds. We and another couple ended up taking our mattresses upstairs as there is not enough sunbeds to sleep on. During the night condensation came in and you find that you get extremely wet. We didn't sleep in our cabin at all and when we got back to corfu the last night, we jumped ship and paid for accommodation as did quite a few other couples. The Captain did try to offer the generator to be turned on so that we could have air conditioning at night at the cost of approx 11 euro per person per night of which the majority of passengers accepted. However one couple declined (therefore apparently the majority vote did not rule) so the remaining 22 passengers had to suffer at the expense of one selfish couple. The destinations and the food on board were both really good with magnificent swim stops. The crew were always friendly and attentive and quite aware of the predicament that one particular couple had caused. In fact the captain offered to pay that couple for on land accommodation one night so the rest of the passengers could get a decent nights sleep however they refused. The inability to be able to sleep (only getting 2-4 hours) had a flow on effect and people were exhausted by day 5 which unfortunately put a dampner on the trip. Initially there wasn't alot of information as to where we were going, for how long, meal times and swim stops but after contacting customer support on day 3, they clarified this over the phone so everyone could here and the communication board was updated daily. As mentioned the cruise itself was lovely, it was just a matter of no air conditioning hence no sleep for 7 nights.”

In regards to your comments raised please find our replies : All of our cabins have a/c and fan and all of our guests have the option to pay the extra service if they wish, so they can enjoy a/c the entire night. Also the nights that our gulets are not docked at ports, our fans do not operate as well. I completely understand the confusion that the other couple created, but unfortunately, as you know, it was out of our hands. We offered you solutions that were not accepted by everyone, and this prevented us from moving forward. Τhe support team was at your disposal throughout the duration of your cruise to express your every wish. “The company sent us a CANCELLATION email ONE MONTH before our scheduled departure. And then later that day they told us it was still going ahead. The company is VERY unorganised and poorly managed. The company also refused to send our itinerary until a few days before we left - even though website says 2 weeks in advanced. Once we finally got on board they told us we are not going to the islands we were meant to go to, which was very disappointing. The crew onboard were 10/10 absolutely amazing! They went out of their way to make sure we all felt special. They food was great too! The rooms were extremely hot. Bathroom flooded everyday, so you would be using toilet with water up to your ankles. You only get power for 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours at night. I would not recommend this company to my family and friends and will NOT use them again.”

I cannot accept, knowing how much we have tried, that we are disorganized. I am very sorry for the perception you have. • While we regret any inconveniences caused by the water issue, it's essential to note that, in some cases, minor deviations from the drain's direct flow might occur. • I would also like to emphasize that we cannot control the weather, according to bad weather conditions we cannot travel and put both the crew and you at risk. “We've just had a week on Herera starting in Zante. God it was hot but really only a problem at night thanks to (a) the size of the "Cosy" cabin, (b) the intermittent air con or lack of, a noisy fan (my wife woke the first night thinking a helicopter had landed on deck) Yes! there were a few issues but thankfully we had a dream team of fellow passengers. There were only 10 of us and I think we all agreed anymore would have been a nightmare. The boat does need a little TLC but generally it served us well. We ate well and the cruising and swim stops were terrific. Thanks to the worlds most enthusiastic Company Rep in Wendy (Fantastic Wendy) whose sightings of dolphins turned into Tuna which immediatley then grew wings and flew away, I'll never forget that. The Captain and crew were excellent and the scenery is to die for. Our shipmates were brilliant and actually made the trip so much more enjoyable. Would we go again? If the cabins and comforts of a peaceful nights sleep were guaranteed then yes, but only if our old shipmates could join us.”

With all due respect to our guests and their experience, we would like to respond to the comments ,given that you were on the same ship on the same date I will give you the same answer. • Our captain and our crew have been with us for years and I have never received such a comment before. we all work hard to ensure that you are safe, have a great time, and have the best memories from your cruise. • As stated in the company’s info pack, which is also posted on our official website and which we sent to you long before your boarding, it states that the a/c operates 4-6 hours a day. However, we leave it 2 hours longer because we understand that in Greece these months we have quite a lot of heat. Were you also informed that if you need extra a/c hours you will have to pay for the generator. Τhe cost is quite low per person. • Regarding the food, let me tell you that there is no chance that we have not taken care of your food, even as it happened a few days ago they forgot to inform us about a vegetarian diet and despite all this at the last moment we made sure that there were rich vegetarian options on the menu . We give you months before to complete your dietary choices to take care of your every need. • Unfortunately, regarding the weather, we have to change your program for the safety of you, primarily, and that of the ship. it is also stated in the info pack and in the signed contract. • Let me explain to you that specifically the cook from the crew had a serious issue of hernia in the lower part of the abdomen, we kept him on pills for the last few days until we released him. “If I could put zero stars I would. The whole business is a fraud and the experience is extremely disappointing. Do not waste your money or time on a company that only cares about taking your money and nothing about your wellbeing. A lot of their reviews are bought/fake. Such a shame that a company would be more than happy to take a group of 20 people in their own hands for a week trip with zero care factor of their customers wellbeing, safety or experience. We had access to almost zero fans or airflow on the boat unless we paid an additional large costs that then made no sense as the company continued to say it was not in their control the power it was in the ports. The rooms were unbearable to sleep in leaving all the people on the boat including the staff to sleep outside. There were zero safety instructions shown. None of the food recruitments were given to the cook so the food was unable to be eaten by a % of the people onboard. After expressing our concerns and experience to the company, they had little to say or respond to the situation. Lastly, they made us come back 2 days early due to “fake weather reports” and an unwell crew member that was later seen walking about with friends. There are plenty of sail companies out there that will care for you, treat you with respect and make an effort to ensure your time in enjoyable. Go with them because choose this company will only make you regret it”

We could not have wished for better. the company were excellent at responding immediately to any queries and the holiday was exceptional. we were thoroughly spoiled with the care and food each day. “I had an amazing time on the Greek sail with my family. The tour guide was fantastic and provided a wealth of knowledge, making the experience all the more enjoyable. The crew was fantastic as well - friendly, fun, and always ready with information. The boat was kept impeccably clean and the rooms were comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I'm so glad we went. Just remember to bring sunscreen!”

“Fabulous week . Sailed on the HERA in and out of Corfu . 18 friends and family on board and all had a fantastic time . Crew were sensational and the food was incredible. Boat a little old but added to the charm . Thanks Sailing in Greece . We recommend this type of holiday as a complete change to the normal , boring sit around a pool all day week .”

“Ladies and Gentlemen. We had a cruise from May 13-20 with the MS Harmonia from Kerkyra. We had booked a full charter. Compared to previous cruises we have not been satisfied. Very frustrated. Poor passenger list. Delayed departure as a result. No communication with captain. Because of this we couldn't plan. At the beginning of the season I would have expected the MS Harmonia to be in better condition. Toilet overflowed several times, engine failure at sea. Due to the bad weather it was more of a rental car tour than a cruise. We were alternatively offered free excursions, which were not free. Captain's dinner without a captain. The entire voyage was marked by delaying tactics and lies by the captain and the shipowner. Sail in Greece never again!!!!!!!! Crew and chef good and delicious food. Andreas Horn”
