“Once again! a long wait to be served at the so called "Customer Service" desk at Sainsbury's Sedgefield store. NOT the fault of the SINGLE person at the desk who has to deal with lazy shoppers who can't be bothered to use the checkouts, people buying vapes (takes ages to find the flavours), people exchanging goods and those who just want a lottery ticket. Today, a Saturday, probably the busiest shopping time of the week I waited over ten minutes behind a queue of 14 people!. 3 tills, only ever one being used. Is there staff shortage at Sainsburys Sedgefield. MUST IMPROVE !!!”
“I’m fed up of Sainsbury’s putting offers on but when you get to the small print it’s just for something different. Went in today and said 25 percent off wines. I checked. They had to be over £6. Never got the discount so on asking they pointed out the small print said only ‘extra special wines.
Week before an offer for lurpack. Right above all the lurpack. Surprise surprise it was a particular one in small print. Not going back.”
“Would have been zero! Today in store I saw a Henry hoover on offer at £50. After taking it to customer service desk to pay for it I was told it was £99. The man in front of me also picked one up thinking it was £50. The cashier went to check the prices on the shelf and said the shelf had ALL been loaded up wrong, this was very misleading for customers I was very disappointed as neither me or the other gentleman were offered an apology for the mistake. I am very disappointed at Sainsbury’s, salters lane, Sedgefield. I understand that mistakes can be made but the customer should always be offered an apology, you would especially expect this from the customer service desk.”
“The online ordering process could not have been more difficult. An absolute nightmare. I was ordering for someone else, otherwise I would definitely have given up. It was insanely difficult from start to finish. They said I could give my opinion after I completed my order. Even that didn't work. I think these people need to do a computer training course before they start doing online orders. Incredibly incompetent!”
“Our local Sainsbury's is poor - my partner made a strong complaint about lack of 'distancing' etc. and lack of staff monitoring of this, during Covid crisis period, and was banned from the shop!”
“I was the victim of a disability hate incident at the hands of Peter Murphy, Manager of Streatham Common Sainsbury. Please be aware you are NOT welcome if you have a disability. Peter says the Equality Act does not apply to them.
Disability discrimination is unlawful, please report any disability hate incidents to the police or Crimestoppers.
Peter was involved in an employment tribunal in which an ethnic minority employee was unfairly dismissed. The judge commented specifically on Peter Murphy’s conduct in the matter – and not in a good way.
There are also google reviews complaining of racial profiling, which does not surprise me.”
“During the virus weeks the Thornhill Cardiff store have done a great job . Distancing well managed and shelves well stocked.
Your instore team and supply team are very much appreciated.”
“YOU ARE THE ONLY SUPERMARKET THAT CANNOT STOCK YOURSHELVES WHERE I VISTED ASDA MORRISONS TESCOS AND THEIR SHLVES WERE ALL WELL STOCKED.

“There never seems to be staff on the fresh fish counter just one very helpful man. Doing his best to serve etc whilst on the other counters i.e. Sushi always two staff on a much smaller counter, same on the meat counter
