Absolute shocking service. I made the error of sending a packet of seeds to the wrong address. ONE PACKET. I immediately contacted Sarah Raven through their chatbot and customer support line to be told that it was 'already processed' and that they would not cancel the order or organise a refund. Their only option was to refuse the order and send it back at my expense. As slick an operation as they think they are, this is a scam. They are not Amazon, dealing with 000's orders per hour. I will not be purchasing from these rip-off merchants again. It is an insult on so many fronts.

Very disappointed. I order two packets of sweet pea seeds that I had used before. These arrived this morning - February 24 with a use by date of December 2024. I have never received seeds - from a reputable and not cheap firm - with less than 2 years let alone only 10 months to use. I contacted Customer Services and the response from Aimee was 'Hello, sorry to hear you are disappointed with your order, your feedback will be passed onto our nursery team.' - not acceptable and shows no concern re valid customer feedback. Poor service and feedback seems to be a recurring theme with Sarah Raven site and products - I will be very cautious before using again.

Ordered a potted cyclamen for Christmas. It arrived two weeks earlier than advertised, and the plants are not thriving. 2 out of 3 so poor that I’ve thrown them away. No aftercare instructions and when I looked online I see you should water from below. Impossible when the plants are crammed into a solid planter bowl. These were expensive and I’m very disappointed

Ordered a bird bath for my friend's special birthday, arrived completely broken. Terrible packaging. They said they would send another the next day, nothing arrived for 10 days. Phoned back, no items in stock. This company clearly has no idea what they're doing. Avoid.

I recieved my order today of Cafe au Lait Dahlia. It arrived in great condition, very healthy. It was packed very well. I would recommend Sarah Raven plants and will order with confidence in the future

Took 14 days for my seeds to arrive. The order confirmation said despatched in 2 days. Also astrantia pack was sold as 25 seeds only 12 in. I gave 2 stars as they did fully reimburse me. I will use my garden centre next time.

These candles were bought last Christmas but we were away so saved till this year. I really liked that they were a bit different from anything in the shops.

I hate to criticise this company as until this Summer I have had excellent plants and service. Having ordered Sonnet white, Dazzler and Xanthus Cosmos, all correctly labelled on arrival, when grown they all turned out to be white Cosmos Purity! No sign of Xanthus, Sonnet or Dazzler. Excellent plants but far too tall for position in my garden. The Silver Wave plants I received were fine and still blooming, but unfortunately of the five Red Velvet Wave ordered, I only managed to rear two as they were in very poor condition on arrival. I have gone ahead and ordered Spring bulbs from Sarah again this year as they are always good large bulbs.

Great selection with detailed description of plants. I always receive the highest quality tubers and young plants which are very well packaged and healthy on arrival.

Very disappointed,awful quality on dahlia tubers,very poor display also thought they could put other varieties in the place of specifically ordered ones,now flowered they care clearly not what I ordered.

I bought the argyanthemum and artemesia collection. The first ‘mums’ died, they weren’t even rooted and you replaced. The second lot are now all fading, the flowers are getting smaller and the leaves turning yellow spreading from the tips. So much for lasting the summer! They have been well looked after so this is very disappointing. The ‘restful collection’ is lovely and thriving.

I am a new customer to Sarah Raven and I am greatly impressed with the quality of the plants delivered. All of good size, healthy and extremely well packaged. Delivery has been on time so plants are not dry and wilted. Will certainly be ordering again from Sarah Raven.

Not all my flowers blossomed,my fault as some got too soggy while blooming. But the ones that did are beautiful,thank you.

I bought various vegetable seedlings this year from Sarah Raven. Dispatch was expected in a week, but it took two weeks each time. Unfortunately the company uses Royal Mail, which in my experience is not good enough for live plants. When my plants were lost, they wouldn't offer a refund until they were actually delivered. When they were finally delivered they were dead; I asked for a refund and instead was sent more seedlings. Overall a tiring experience. The slow dispatch reduces the convenience of delivery over visiting a gardening centre.

I revived the wort specimens of seedlings I have ever seen . Not only were they dead and took days to get to me they were clearly so root bound they should have never been sent in the first place . The pots I ordered were also cheap inferior quality plastic compared with others . It’s a pity as the advertising and promotion of its products has really been done beautifully . Unfortunately the products do not match up my first and last order . Go to your local garden centre instead .

There is a huge and gaping chasm between Sarah Raven’s glorious catalogues and what is actually dispatched to customers. My £50 order contained insipid and spindly plants that had all but given up the will to live and which bore little or no resemblance to what was expected. How they passed any kind of quality control before being dispatched is beyond me. Is no one tasked with checking things? Calls to customer services were answered by a string of people who had little idea of how to properly deal with an unhappy but very keen gardener who has spent a small fortune with SR in recent years. Sorry, but avoid is my top tip. You’ll probably do better for many things in your local supermarket and for a fraction of the price!
