“It is impossible to give Scotts of Stow any stars, not even one in any category. After ordering an item which was shown as in stock and not receiving it for a month I emailed to get status and was told there was a delay. I accepted this as reasonable because of the corona situation. However, after two months and the item still being shown as in stock on their website, I asked for a refund and was immediately fobbed off because the item was in “despatch process”. Three months later I complained via PayPal and gave them a poor rating on Trustpilot. Immediately someone was in touch saying they will process the refund. The refund was due this week but, miraculously, the item appeared on my doorstep this morning. I have now asked that they arrange for the item to be picked up and a refund processed immediately as I no longer want or need it. It will be interesting to see their next step. Needless to say, I will never shop with them again and will always warn others of their unacceptable way of doing business.”
