“I am so fed up. This app has been nothing but problems. My daughters iPhone is not working at all. her apps are gone and her internet text and calling doesn't work and she is going away this weekend. Beyond frustrating and upsetting. I have emailed customer care and have gotten nothing back. Her phone is literally deactivated. I removed the app and deleted her as a child on my app and deleted the app and her phone still wont work......Any one have any suggestions? This is urgent.”

“We paid for a 1year subscription and we deeply regret it. We first installed in our son's mobile the normal app from the store. He easily uninstalled it without saying a word. We continue to receive the reports as if everything was normal. Basically he made a fool of ourselves. After complaining to customer support we installed the "protected" version available in their website which apparently couldn't be uninstalled. We are now receiving the reports with "0 minutes usage" while just in front of us he is using his mobile. Can we have our money back?”

“If your children have Apple devices this app will NOT work properly. We've had nothing but issues since the get-go. After attempting to uninstall Screen Time from our iPad we no longer have access to ANY apps. It's beyond frustrating!”

“I installed this on my daughters iPhone 6 because she wasn't getting homework completed... when she got her grades up I promised to delete the app so when I tried to delete it as I promised it made the phone stop working FOREVER!!!!!!!! We could not buy another phone so now our daughter is mad at me”

“I loathe this app. I installed it and immediately my daughter's apps disappeared. And I could not unsubscribe even after I unpaired her with the screen time app.”

“It is ironic that I am a student from TJHSST that had parents that used this app and wrote this review as poor. Notice how I used the word "had". This software has a vast amount of glitches, even on Android, including "freezing up", where the parental controls no longer seem to work until the user opens the app. This allowed me to go into Settings to block this app as a start-up app. Now, all I had to do is restart the phone and this app was no more. But don't fix it, as it is a good laugh of a product.”

“Screen Time is AWESOME if your child has anything, but an iPhone. We started using Screen Time when our child had an android and LOVED it! We really liked the customization that was allowed, and the detailed emails we could receive telling us how much time was spent on specific apps. I had to give 4 stars instead of 5, because it does NOT work as well on iPhone because of licensing agreements. Instead we could only get an email with how much time was spent on the phone (no details), we couldn't pick and choose which apps it would involve, and whenever we turned on any limitations, our sons' phone would have issues connecting when it was time for them to come back on. Instead of being a help, it actually became more of a hindrance and pain with iPhones; enough that we cancelled our subscription and are on the look for something else. BUT, if we ever move off iPhones, I would pick back up on Screen Time without hesitation.”

“This app is horrible. I wanted to just try the trial period but was not impressed with it and now it will not let me uninstall it off my child's phone. I just want to get this app off her phone. Can someone please help me with this?!”

“Screen time was a bad idea from the start. At first i let my son have a phone without screen time but then I felt that he was spending too much time on it so I downloaded screentime, much to his dismay. It worked horribly from the start, first it put a virus on his phone so I had to spend lots of money to get that fixed and it just caused great conflict between myself and him. Imagine yourself as a child with your parents knowing your every move when online? You have no privacy and you're training them to be secretive and teaching them how to hide things. Screen time is a disaster and I hope that it gets shut down.”

“Achtung Preisfalle!!! Apple Benutzer bezahlen für die App eine Jahresgebühr von 54,99€ und Android Nutzer nur mal gerade 33,99€ und habe noch als Bonus on Top 2 Monate kostenlos. Die App ist zwar gut aber die Premiomversion bucht man besser bei Android.”

“Initially the app looked enticing. It had everything we needed to control our kids devices. Each of my 3 kids uses an iPod touch 5th gen and we also use it with an android phone and 2 iPhone 5s (not 5S's). However during the trial period the app kept getting blocked or locked on the iPod touches. The app would loose connection with their server even after I had initially fixed the connection on some devices. The wifi is strong in my home. I am located in Israel so I'm. It sure if their vpn has problems connecting from Israel. This seems to be the issue. While OurPact is a bit more expensive and doesn't include as many features in my tests with that app it worked seamlessly. I'm hesitant to pay for screen time if they ant rectify my connectivity issues with their app to their servers”

“If you are an iPhone user, keep looking! Not only does it flat not work (i.e. it will not let you select the apps to restrict and it allows many, many apps to be used during restricted times), but it will also disrupt the normal operation of your iPhone (i.e. it dramatically slows it down and constantly rearranges the location of apps on the screens and in the folders). These guys shouldn't even offer this for Apple users until they work on it... a lot!”

“Currently have this app and looking for a new one. My daughter basically re-starts her phone, and then uses the recall button to work her way to settings to turn it off because of the lag time before the app kicks in is very slow. It took 30 secs and I never received a message that it was turned off. It shouldn't be that easy. Costumer service was very nice, but basically told me that an app can only do so much if the child is that determined.”

“Awful awful app Do not get it They didn’t send my password My son couldn’t use his iPad AT ALL I couldn’t erase the app I sent them 5 emails and they didn’t send the password I couldn’t use the internet to use the link to erase screen time because screen time blocked it!!!!!!!!! Awful awful APP Never never install it”
