BUT all technicians should be instructed to park their vans on the street. My technician pulled into my asphalt driveway on a hot sunny day and then proceeded to do a "k" turn on my driveway to turn around. There was no need for this and he damaged my driveway. He should have simply backed out of the driveway. Definitely, the dumbest thing I have ever experienced. I had to have my driveway seal coated today to fix the tire tracks that the technician caused.”

“I purchased a pair of pajamas from sears.com as a last minute Christmas gift for someone whom I had already purchased a gift. But it was so cute I could not resist. I was not sure the gift would get here by December 25 because it was just a few days away. But to my surprise it got here before Christmas and I was able to give it to my friend for Christmas. And Kudos to UPS also for placing the packing inside my screen door so no one could find it. The nearest Sears is about 50 minutes from where I live so online shopping is a must for me. I miss not having a Sears in my hometown, but they are not the only store that left. Many others have left town also which forces people to shop online. I guess that is the wave of the future for us who live in small towns. But it is usually not a bad experience and often fun to shop online.”

He did not communicate anything with me and had a part shipped to my address without telling me. Since this is a vacation house I don’t get shipments here which caused me problems. I don’t think he properly diagnosed the problem and instead put in a new circuit board. I was charged $252 labor for a 10 minute job!”

“Waited for delivery of appliances and they showed up one hour early. Left and took the rest of the day off. No appliances so now I get to try this again Saturday. Crew seem like jerks and don’t care about customer service. I will never buy sears products again if this is typical of contractors they hire to deliver.”
