With all the craziness re luggage lately I was fortunate enough to have my rods with me in my searun case. Allowed on all flights and took up no space to Iceland. Many positive remarks re the case. I may need commission! Lol. Love my case! Maybe a waterproof seal to add would be a good idea?

Got my case just in time for the Sandy River, Al trip. Carries two 13.5 Spey Travel rods and wide reels with room to spare. Alaska Airlines will allow it in carry on or checked baggage if you dare. A bit heavy but never a worry about damage. Very Nice !

As a previous reviewer I have used many types of rod-reel case but I have always looked enviously at the cases used by the shooting fraternity and at last Sea Run with Negrini have designed and made a quality and totally trustworthy case for the angler. I do not travel across the globe but nevertheless I do have, as many other anglers, expensive and precious, to me at least, equipment that I want to travel safely. The case I purchased, the Norfolk LT, ticks all the boxes and being hard shell does lend itself to organising the gear that I need for the trip without carrying anything not needed. The exceptional build quality and the top materials used means this case will be something I will hand down when I can't make trips anymore. The inclusion of a shoulder strap and excellent form of attachment finishes off this case. Living in the UK, delivery is important along with ease of ordering and promise of after sales help, if required, and full guarantees put the cherry on the cake.

It is a great case to put your rods in. I used it as a carryon on my flight fish redfish. The rod side can store rods and some tools, while the compartment side did a great job for my reels, leader case, fly box.

Good quality and great design. This thing is sturdy and I feel confident putting 3-4 rods in it for travel. Looking forward to using it soon . Tight lines 🎣

I've been fly fishing for years but it's only been few years since I started to travel to fly fish. There are so many cool places to go and so many different species out there. One thing I struggled with the most was packing my gear. It was awkward and cumbersome to put everything into a backpack/suitcase/pelican case etc. I couldn't find a good solution that would make my travel more convenient. Enter Sea Run Case. Pretty much solved my packing issue with one very cleverly made case. Built quality and material are premium. The fit and finish are excellent. Most importantly, functionality is amazing. Everything fits there. I have 3 rods, 3 reels, lines, and fly boxes. All my valuable gears are well protected and locked away. I am very happy with this purchase and if anyone is on the fence, I recommend going for it. You get what you pay for.

This is the perfect case for anglers traveling with their gear. I've checked it with airlines, carried it on, and driven cross country with it in the bed of my truck. It keeps my gear perfectly organized and secure on and off the water!

Perfect case for travel. It's hard to find a travel worthy case that will protect thousands of dollars of rods and reels. This is it. Solid, multiple locks and more than adequate protection for your favorite rods.

Great cases , well designed and very tastefully maid. We bought the covers after checking the cases on our first airline trip. They are too nice to get scuffed up needlessly.

This case is beautiful and rugged. It is going to carry everything I need to go after multiple species with multiple rods/reels, lines, leaders, and tools on an off-the-beaten-path overseas trip this Spring. Could not be happier.

Lovely case but does not handle a 10' 4pc rod ("disappointed") Needs to be at lease 1" longer. Great service by Scott and the Fedex service was fantastic.

The case is heavy-duty, but needs rings to attach a shoulder strap and ID tag. As is, not set up for hauling through an airport.

I purchased this case so I could check my rods & reels instead of packing them in my suitcase. Structurally the case is well built, however, the combination locks seem a little cheap. I have only been able to set a code on one of them the other two remain at 000, and I have tried numerous times. In the literature that came with the case, it said to contact the company if there were problems with the locks and that altering them would void the warranty. I immediately emailed SEA RUN and explained my problem but have never heard back from them. Considering the cost of the case I would have expected some type of response.

Disappointing. Why this case is not waterproof for this price point is hard to understand. I dont think anyone that travels with fishing equipment or actually uses the cases to fish out of while traveling has ben part of the design process. Sea Run might be ok for gun cases, but they have a lot to learn about fishing!

Hi Scott, We do have some reasoning behind not waterproofing the case. Our cases are water resistant, but not waterproof. If you put wet things inside of a waterproof case you will have to combat rust and mold. Hence having a case that can breathe is a good thing. Undertand we have had many colleagues and many influencers travel with our cases all over the world that speak highly of our products. Protection, security, and convenience are more important than trying to keep wet things dry. We appreciate your opinion, but this does not reflect what we do best! - SR
