PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS - I BELIEVE SEDGWICK IS BEING ILLOGICALLY BASHED!!! I have had Three - Count Them - THREE - Separate Extended Leave Claims through Sedgwick as a Lowes Employee, and I've only been their employee for TWO YEARS!! First, A Proper Shout-Out To Them for putting up with my apparently hazard lightning-rod life! The first accident, a rather odd pallet lifting and stacking incident in which I partially tore a tendon in my right forearm! This required surgery, a month and a half of recovery and physical therapy! Next, a winter, right shoulder ligament injuring trip-and-fall in the parking lot of my apartment complex. This occurred over a mid-parking lot cement "parking guide" with no raised markers. This structure disappears when it snows more than 6 inches!! I'm still addressing the safety hazard this poses! Again, over a months rehab and recovery! Thirdly, and worst, a severe auto accident involving a practically head-on collision with a cement embankment! (I'm starting to feel that Murphy is somehow a relative of some kind!) This fractured my Sternum, and though no treatment could help, I was again out for over a month! Each and every time Sedgwick immediately accepted my claim, expediently processed it and kept me updated through their My Sedgwick Website!! By the way, all claiments have 24-Hour access to this site, and are informed of this in the Snail Mail and Emailed claims documentation!! This is how to contact your Case Manager with any questions you may have!!! Sometimes I must wait a day or so for a response, but I simply consider how many injured people there are - then this becomes totally acceptable!! Remember; Patience Is A Virtue Folks!! You Are Not The Only Claimant They Have!!!! Also, I have always been paid by Sedgwick no later than Two Weeks after my claim was approved, and that only takes, at most, a week - as long as you provide the understandably required documentation! My goodness! A three week wait - to me, that's a pretty fast response to an unpredictable and processing-required occurrence!!! Face it - They Are A Health-Care Business, ever heard of HIPAA?!? It's a paperwork nightmare that they must correctly follow TO PROTECT YOU!! In the future, look more closely at whether you are actually Working "Properly" With Them --- Or Simply, Judgmentally, And Selfishly, Against Them!! PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT!!!! Sedgwick Is Not Evil Or Out To Get You - Just An Insurance Company Filling A Much Needed.Service!! Thanks To Anyone Who Reads This In It's Entirety - I Hope It Helps! THANKS SEDGWICK FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE FOR ME!!🫡👍

I have been dealing with sedgwick since February and I only had one adjuster that was rude and didn’t answer any emails , questions etc and they was Clancy. As far as Ms Paire Watts , Janet Vickroy , Patricia Soto and Christine Goode they were all such a help ! Answered any questions I had , gave updates without me having to reach out and were overall kind making the process seamless. Just giving y’all hope that they aren’t all rude ! Thank you ladies for your help

My name is Mrs. Thompson, I'm a 59 year old who has worked since I was 14 years old and never had to file a claim for Disability before. But on 6/3/23, in the early evening this past Saturday at about 1:20 pm, I was on the phone with a lovely lady name Diwana, I hope I got her name right because she went above and beyond to help me file a "Short Term Disability Claim" We had almost finished up when the call disconnected, I prayed I gave her enough information for her to call back but I still decided I'd call back anyway. While I tried to call back knowing that I may have to go through it all again, Diwana calls me back! Thank you Jesus! Anyway, for you company to have someone like her, that would go beyond the call of what she had to do was amazing and she should be well honored for this, commended for her courteous polite attitude and patient manner. Thank you so much Diwana! And God bless!

I have been dealing with the most fantastic girl in the Sedgwick Perth office (Irish descent so Sedgwick know who this is). They are not our insurers naturally but she is an absolute champion. Keep hold of this girl. She is worth promoting over time all the way to the top.

This is my second time using Sedgwick through my employer. The first person I encountered was Clancy and she was so rude . Ms./Mrs. Watts is now the representative working on my case. She is not only kind but helpful and responsive.

For the most part if I'm able to get a person on the phone I can get my issue resolved after some runaround but the website is SO BAD. Like so bad that it feels intentional. They make you reset your password every like 3 months then 8/10 times after you find a password that meets their incredibly arbitrary guidelines (cant use the symbol " for example, basic stuff) the website crashes and doesn't tell you whether your password was saved correctly.

After a Coach Bus Service bus hit me as I was stopped and waiting to make a turn, I was sent a letter by Sedgwick. The letter was courteous and informative and provided a point of contact. I thought, "Well isn't this nice?" I was naive. Sedgwick was responsible for arranging a rental car while my car was being repaired. I should have claimed the rental car right away, but instead...I offered to just submit a few Uber receipts for transportion costs. It would be simple for me and cheaper for Sedgwick. They agreed. After I picked up my car, I submitted receipts for $106. I was told a check would be provided as long as I signed a release. Most significantly, the release was required to be signed by a notary. None of this was disclosed when we agreed to the above arrangement. All this...for a little over $100 that saved Sedgwick the cost of a rental car and fuel for a week. I'm writing this review as a caution to claim EVERYTHING you're due from Sedgwick. Do not compromise. They may indicate they'll compromise, but don't expect anything but a hassle in the end.

My #1 recommendation get connected with your local wage and hour division office with the Department of Labor as soon as you start an FMLA process with this company. I had to battle every step of the way for my rights and they constantly indicated that they didn't work for the Department of Labor but guess who enforces FMLA? the Department of Labor!

I have had the pleasure of having Pauline Blehi as an examiner and she has been excellent in handling my case and keeping me informed of information that I requested. I have been transferred to another examiner (not sure why), and now I can't view any information online and my case is showing closed, my final doctor's appointment isn't until July 2024. I contacted my new examiner and she stated that because of the appointment date is so far out the status is showing closed, but I can still be treated. I respect people and their job title, but I really really miss Pauline Blehi.

Extremely disappointed with Sedgwick’s service. Despite numerous attempts, they consistently paid me only half of what I’m owed and take weeks to respond. Customer service is a nightmare, spinning you in circles. They ignore emails and messages in their portal, and their staff repeatedly lie about payment statuses. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely horrible! If you’re seeking new employment, make sure your potential employer is not utilizing this jokers!! Otherwise, if you ever get injured at work, your pay will get jacked, tossed around, delayed and more! They act like they never received anything from the doctor and stop paying you!! Fools!!!! Absolutely pathetic!!

Sedgwick is one the worst companies yet when it comes to customer service and getting an answer along with submitting documents of proof to the World Trade Center injury, sickness claims, they do not have organization, no one seems to know anything about your claim as each and every time you submit paperwork and try to follow up on receipt of such paperwork, it can never be found or someone different in customer service asks to resubmit , it has been three long exhausting threes and I am back at step one because no one at Sedgwick seems to know the functions required to successfully submit documents for claim approval, they are a bunch of lazy, non responsive bunch of idiots that need to be replaced immediately, one ass wipe after another, the Federal Government should seriously look into this face of an operation and throw them all to the gutter, useless organization of paid , unhonest dipshits.

I had eye surgery 3 weeks ago and am now ablw to go back to work. Got a phone call them my claim was denied because "They" received no paperwork from my dr but thwn she also said it was never sent to the dr. I shouldn't have to be worrying about calling and asking about paperwork when im recovering my eye surgery! I will never trust them again. She said she would send it out again but i dont thinm she will. Absolutely bs!! Ive been out of qork for a month and i just find out. So unprofessional!

Bad communication, they claim to have called and followed up but nothing. Can’t get a hold of claims examiner even when you leave voice messages. Will screw you over, my next step is definitely a lawyer

Everything about this company is bad so I’m not surprised at their ratings. They were involved with a marine claim I had against my insurance company AIG. Not only was I dropped when I reported one claim but they denied my claim. They were late to respond to all correspondence, it was common place to have to email and call several times before getting the courtesy of a response. Anybody that uses AIG, Sedgwick or Kolisch Marine is basically just throwing their hard earned money away. Self insure ……. You will save money ! Phil Digennaro Pardo 43 owner

I was humiliatingly scammed by claims service employee Noelle Moore at Sedgwick. I was parked at a CVS and hit by a Canada Dry truck turning too close to me. Sedgwick was the third party insurer for the truck. The delays, lies and scenarios of stalling deceits Moore concocted resulted in ME having to pay almost $2,000.00 to the rental car company. She created a loop in which Sedgewick was removed. I think that you must be very proud of her. I have not found the proper recourse solution, but I will continue until I do.

This company is horrible. Horrible. I advise you to get a lawyer if you can. The way that they did me it makes no sense. When I had Karen. She was wonderful out of the Memphis facility and then they switched me to( Chelsea Nurmi). She is ridiculous and should be fired. Her attitude is disgusting. Her communication skills are not there. She act like she's nonverbal. She will stop your money without telling you why she's stopping your payment. Then you have to call and beg and then she will put it in when she feels like it for you to get played paid. They don't care if I go and see a second opinion. She chose the first opinion of the doctor when I say I wish I could sue her. I promise you she lucky.

A nightmare to deal with. This is probably the third review I’ve ever written in total in my whole life of 57 years. Very hard to get a hold of, don’t return calls website is difficult to find forms in the midst of an appeal and I thought it was because I didn’t provide every single one of my doctor notes from day one to week three but I did, but unfortunately, it was not good enough for them, so now that’s the appeal starts. During a very stressful medical time now having to deal with this so much waste of our time.

Horrible to deal with. Never return my calls. I have been off work for four months and they have only given me two payments and one was a partial. My next step is a lawyer. The most useless company that will make you suffer by not giving you the money you are owed.
