Avoid this company like the plague unless getting an in-stock car immediately. THESE ARE THEIFS, BEWARE. To give you a bit of history, up until recently I had a good experience with these and I had used these twice before (7 years), I set up my wife with these and my 2 best friends were recommended and completed (with one recently signing up for a another 4 years, but I will go onto that in a bit). That was until I had to cancel my order as my situation changed as the car wasn’t getting delivered until May 2023 (ordered in November 2022). I ordered an Audi A5 at the start of November. This wasn’t the car that I really wanted but after already paying a deposit for a car I agreed on with Dominic (Mercedes CLA 35) which then after I paid was told a few days later the car had sold and if I wanted the same car it was the best part of £150 more a month (scam 1). (Scam 2) I agreed and paid £540 for an Audi A5 on 31st October reluctantly, but for my budget and what was available it was my only option as in the 1 1/2 weeks, I was pressured to make payment and choose as the prices, in less than 2 weeks, had gone up… twice. 2 days later on the 2nd of November I wrote to select saying I would like to cancel the order and change to an A7 as the prices on the website made it £50 a month more but I was much happier with the order considering I was going to keep it for 4 years. Well, guess what, was contacted by Domink again to say that, I’m sorry if you want that car, you’re going to pay for than what was quoted on the website. It worked out over £100 more a month and their website was wrong… again. At this point I didn’t know what to do and was looking at other options as I really didn’t want the A5. I emailed Dominik directly on the 7th November and the 8th chasing up my refund and was totally ignored with no response confirming anything, and certainly no £540 back in my bank (keeping in mind this is all in writing, direct to Select). So at this point I have legally written to select asking for cancellation with no response via email. I did have conversations on the phone at this point as I was suffering with anxiety caused by select and was really starting to feel pressured into keeping the A5. After feeling pressured I agreed verbally to keep the car on the 18th of November. Let me state at this point, at no point when I spoke with select had they mentioned that all calls were recorded (and I am now awaiting my right of access files sent to me to send to works solicitor and also reading standards). Yes I was foolish to be pressured into keeping the A5 but legally standing I had cancelled the order within 14 days in writing. My order should have been cancelled then and there with my contract with them null and void, not kept dangling with my money in their bank. I did write to select again on the 29th November saying I do not want to proceed. It is a lot of money for a car a month that I was pressured into agreeing to as my original option, that I agreed and paid for was no longer available. Again, I had sent emails chasing up my refund. Then on the 6th of December I was made contact with by 2 Select Employee's, Dan and Dennis who both informed me that I wouldn’t be getting a penny back and they had my phone call saying keep it (which was followed up less than 2 weeks later with an email in writing to cancel in full). They offered me the option to move my refund to a BMW but at this point I decided to buy a second hand car as with my current situation, it was a cheaper option and I said I wasn’t interested. They still didn’t budge what so ever. I had another friend that has just signed up to them, literally by my recommendation and agreed on a car on the 7th of December. I asked my friend on that day to speak with select and use my £540 and he give me the money as they are dead set on not helping me. They flat up refused to do this and would not help me. Considering the business I’ve given them over the years personally and with friends this is a very very sharp way to operate. Additionally, I never received a penny from Select for recommendation for my 2 friends and wife which was promised to me time after time after time. I know this is a long post but buyers beware. These are a sharp and aggressive company, who are unwilling to help long standing customers.

I have now been waiting for my order since May 2021 and it is now 24th April 2022!!! they keep pushing the order back with the latest update being august 2022 on my delivery. The lack of customer support has been little to nothing and no regard for their customers who are spending a lot of money on long term leases. I have never been so disappointed with such an established company. As a customer I do not feel valued and have not had my complaints taken seriously despite being flexible in selecting another car with a shorter lead time which clearly hasn't helped in the year wait. I have recommended two people who have since had their cars delivered but I did not receive the voucher promised on their website therefore I would not recommend select car leasing to anyone in the future. don't waste your time and go to a company who actually have good customer support-god help if an issue was to arise with your car if this is how they treat new customers

Price match fallacy Absolutely shocked that such a big company (Select Car Leasing) not honouring there price match policy which states “Had a better quote elsewhere? We have a dedicated pricing team working around the clock to make sure you always get the best deals, but if you've found a better price elsewhere and we can’t match it just let us know and we'll be happy to send you Amazon vouchers to the value of £50. I emailed the cheaper quote over and they couldn’t match/beat it..now they want to “wriggle” out of honouring the £50 amazon voucher they state on there website. According to the employee I spoke to today, I have to place an order with Select Car Leasing first and if I find a cheaper quote later elsewhere they would a send voucher out then.I highly doubt this is how there price match policy works as this does not reflect what’s stated on there website either. Will be letting trading standards aware for the false price match policy and other social media platforms.

I dealt with a sales manager called Russell, he was massively rood and aggressive to both me and my wife. We had a few questions about the quotes provided and he started abusing us down the phone. I'd rather pay double elsewhere then use this company again. If you had any sense you'd get rid of that man.
