“We had 30 plus quilts. The loading people only used a few quilts to protect the furniture and did not block it from rubbing against other household items. Both the washer and dryer had the porcelain finish rubbed off in two areas. An Ekornes accent table has green paint on it from the bed frame rubbing on it. Consequently the bedframe paint is rubbed off on one of the rails. The base of the dresser has wood broken off from moving it around in the truck after loading it. The truck was packed well. The loaders did a good job getting all of our household good loaded onto the truck. We just wish they had been more diligent in proteching some of the pieces with quilts.”

“If I ask for and willing to pay some extra for 3 guys and I get 2 and it winds up being more money than the extra for three guys and.3 hours that is not cool. The guys that unloading our truck were great but it was a big job and there was a third guy supposed to come but he had to be back in San Antonio by 430 so the boss sent them by themselves... that did not make me happy...It probably cost me about $150 more than if i got my third guy and they could’ve knocked it out”

“The two men that did all the lifting were great, the man that was in supervising I wasn’t too happy with. He told me I was to pay him cash ( more than agreed) and he would not take a credit card or check but I need to pay right then. So, I called the office and the man I spoke to at SML said do not pay him anything we will debit your card. In all the hustle and bustle I really thought the bill had been charged a week later and it had not so when they tried to submit it through my debit card of course that account was empty but it did get paid after a couple of days I sent them an email and said go ahead and charge my account on Thursday which they did. I’m real sorry about the mixup I thought it had he already been paid. I really feel like the supervisor who’s name I think was Kevin was pulling a fast one. I told him at the time no one told me it had to be a cash deal on the spot, but he said oh we only take cash.”

“Expensive. Weekend Warriors was okay. SML is too expensive. Wishing I had hired one of the small companies directly. SML added no value.”

“The first crew was Ok, not as professional as I would of liked. They worked like they were hourly. And towards the end they werent all working. The older worker was good at packing. Our second crew to unload was great professional and worked hard.”

“We got movers and paying was simple so for that we give 3 stars. But the movers we got were not professional at all but they did get stuff unloaded even though I had to start unloading things myself while they kept taking breaks and pictures of my stuff and the work that had been done”

“The last three men who unloaded our truck were exceptional. They worked from the time they got here until they finished. We would give them an A++. They deserve a Very Good rating! The men who loaded our truck in Tennessee all three wreaked of BO and we could hardly breath around them. They also stood around and watch the others move and load things. I would give them an D--.”

“When loading truck movers broke glass door. When unloading truck noticed too many stretches and chipped furniture. Even the unloaded mentioned that truck was loaded properly.”

“Very nice and polite guys. Didn’t necessarily pack the truck as fast or as efficiently as I expected but overall did a good job.”

“Very nice, worked hard. Could have secured furniture better, several pieces scratched. One piece broken, however, worked hard to get as much as possible in truck.”

“Crew was on time, friendly and helpful. Only took 45 minutes, so paying for 2 hours as a limit is not really great. Might have chosen a different company for a short time period.”

“They broke a glass table and they did not tie anything down. We had to ask them to get back in the truck to tie down items. It was a long trip but we did have damage to two lamps and scratches on the almost all of the chair, dresser and table legs. I would not use this company again. I am also waiting for a rerun of the table that they shattered.”
