“If you are another customer not receiving their order from the website, search for SM Direct on eBay and contact him via a product, I received my refund within minutes! Probably worried I'd buy something cheap on there to leave bad feedback - which I would have done had he ignored me again! Its 100% feedback on there and looks like they sell a lot. Its a shame they don't treat their Web customers with the same customer service as their eBay clients. I dont believe I would have received my product or refund going by the reviews here. My emails were ignored and its been 9 days since I ordered some compost with a 3-5 working day delivery service.”

“I have never had such an appalling on line experience. The Christmas lights I ordered never arrived. Payment was taken for them upon ordering. I’ve emailed four times, called 10 times (with no answer) and left four messages. No response! I’m now having to try and reclaim the money via my credit card. I wish I’d seen all the reviews before making my order! AVOID this despicable man/company at all costs….”

“Do not buy. Ordered over 2 weeks ago, and nothing has been despatched or shipped. Said things will be despatched within 2 working days but pretty sure I won't be receiving anything after reading these reviews. Have called them and emailed and got no response. I didn't pay through paypal so don't believe I can get my money back. Don't waste your time or money here.”

“Faulty set of Christmas lights, messaged, emailed, phoned, no response from company at all. Tried for a month to contact, eventually opened a dispute with paypal before getting a response. Posted back today but will have to swallow the postage cost I guess. Worst ever company I have dealt with. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Wish I had read reviews before ordering. There was no problem with delivery but trying to get a response to return fauly goods is a nightmare. Avoid at all costs.”

“I sent Xmas lights back for a refund 2wks ago I have emailed them with regards to ask if they have received them and when I would expect the refund but I have never known a company that are so bloody ignorant that they can't even reply to you worse company out there I will be contacting PayPal to deal with them so please don't use them for anything”

“I’ve placed an order with this company ?! For some Xmas lights through PayPal , and have had no email to say they have been dispatched ? “Utter rubbish. Ordered and paid for two items, paid by Paypal, received a Paypal refund notice a few days later. No email from SMN Direct. No explanation. A pointless experience - AVOID!”

“Avoid. Payment was taken immediately and email confirmation of order was received (supposedly 3-5 day delivery) then item never arrived. Gave them the benefit of the doubt in case it was delayed due to covid but three emails over the next few months, to the address given on their email and website, received absolutely no response. A phone call was answered and led to a promise of a full refund to the original payment method but, five weeks since the phone conversation, no refund has been received.”

“Goods ordered but as with many other customers no goods received money taken from account. SM do not acknowledge any communication claim started with Pay Pal. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

“I ordered two tube lights, but have not received them. I have sent two emails to the seller and have received no reply. Thankfully I paid via PayPal, so am now pursuing a refund via them.”

“Ordered lamps on 8 May 2019 with email acknowledgment. Since then nothing. No reply to 2 emails so I will have to raise an issue with PayPal to get my money back. Avoid at all costs”

“Dreadful company! Have never replied to many emails. Never delivered my order. I had to claim my money back via PayPal, which I received & never a word from this company in the way of apology or explanation. Steer well clear of them, they seem cheap but all they do is keep your money ^ ignore you completely. Thank goodness for PayPal!”
