They don’t have tennis racquet over grip tape They don’t have arm sleeves They don’t have light gloves They have all expensive stuff

I bought three bikes during Covid - one was ok. The other two were not and one was already damaged in the box and I had to pay to get two of them assembled. I called Red Deer store and left messages and no one returned my call. I then left a review and they responded and I was given an email to tell them what happened. I received an email back and they said someone would contact me. I have not heard anything. Summer is passing yet again with no bike. So disappointing

I bought golf shoes from Sportchek.ca and they sent me a pair previously worn outside. There were pieces of dried dirt on the sole and some dirt on the outside fabric. I called Sportcheck customer service and they offered me 10% off my next purchase :( and I have to return them to the store in order to get my refund. Poorly done Sportchek!

Bought a Nakamura bike that broke after the second use, Sports Check refused to fix the broken gears because according to the terms of their "guarantee" nothing that moves is covered, that just means they wont cover anything since the bike "moved" when we used it!, very different to what the sale's lady told us when we purchased. "no worries" your bike is fully guaranteed for a full 1 year let alone 1 day! Bad products, terrible service!

Bought a new bike from spot chek, it took me 2 weeks to arrange the technician to assemble it, but I found out the tire was not even inflated and the gear is able to shift in the corrwct position, brake is squeaking. The technician just assembled the bike without tuning it up at all.

I bought a badminton racquet (Yonex Astox, $103.97) from City Centre, Edmonton store on June 21, 2022. Within its two times of use the string of the racquet broke. I got the opportunity to take the racquet back to the store on June 30 along with receipt and was totally disappointed by (1) having been told that the SportCheck does not provide guarantee for string, even though the string has proven to be of an inferior quality; (2) the person at counter was only interested in making her point but hardly ready to listen to or understand my point. Instead of providing any remedy, I was offered to do another purchase at a 20% discount - so forget about what I spent before and again Trust SportsCheck product quality to spend again? I'm unable to understand: - Do they sell a product of over $100 for a two times use and not take the responsibility of their product's quality failures? - Don't they feel anything of having a totally unreasonable and unacceptable policy of simply telling that String is not covered (even a two times use)? I was told to take up the quality issue directly with Yonex rather than they take it with their supplier to stop selling this crab inferior quality string product. I contacted them online, they said that their relevant store (at City Centre Edmonton, AB) will contact me in 2-3 days. What a pathetic customer service, no one contacted me and I'm still sitting with the broken racquet.

It was one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The security tag was not removed after purchase. When I returned to remove it, they were emotionless...not even an apology. They moved like sloth. It seemed like the CS reps didn't even want to be there. Cachet store (Woodbine/16th).

I was recently in you abbottsford store, and was looking for some athletic clothes. I looked at your FWD clothing line. I really liked the styles however I noticed a label on the outside of the shorts and some of the pants. I didn't buy them because it had a permanent logo/ sticker/ free label. I speak for a community of around 50 to 60 individuals who would have purchased them if it was on the outside.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having Ryan as our salesperson when purchasing a bike recently from the Georgetown location. Seriously they should clone Ryan as he is the epitome of what a salesperson should be. Polite, informative, helpful are all traits he exhibits. It made the whole experience a real pleasure.

If SC wants customers actually buying something how about making sure the customer doesn’t have to go looking all over the store for an associate to open the dressing rooms.

I wouldnt order anything online from Sport Chek. They will say your package is ready to be picked up and charge your visa before the carrier even picks it up. The shipping with this company is a disaster, you may or may not recieve your items, and you definitly wont recieve them on time. I will not be shopping Sport Chek anymore. Beware, stay away they are collecting money on items that have not even been sent out yet.

If I could give 0 I would Sport Chek = ethnic profiling!!!! I’m disgusted with this company! I have been an online (deliver to my door ) customer for over 10 years and no problems till now! I ordered 2 pair of runners and paid for them. My address and Billing address have never changed yet the courier for sport chek delivered my items to the east side of edmonton! I contacted the courier and they confirmed that Sport Chek had put the address on my package! Then I checked my sport chek account to find that all of my information had been changed!! Now the billing information must have been my correct address when I placed the order or the Purchase would have been declined.. it was not! Now when I initially called into sport Chek customer service the customer service person looked at the file and we discussed issue and immediately said “do not worry you will not have to pay for this it is not your fault we will take care of you.” Then he asked me a question he said that it was not on topic but he was just curious about my email address.I initially made a disclaimer saying please do not discriminate against me for what I am going to tell you and I explained that with the Ukraine situation Russian people are getting treated quite badly. A customer service person said that he was actually learning Russian so that he can understand the situation going on in Ukraine so I went on to explain that it was a Russian word that I was using and I explained that my father was a Russian! At this point the customer service person put me on hold to go speak to his manager and I was on hold probably a good 45 minutes and when he came back his attitude towards me completely changed and he was almost accusing me of putting in the wrong address and told me that they would not help me any further and that I would have to take care of the situation myself! I was very confused at the change in the customer service person’s attitude after I told him about my ethnic background! He went from telling me that they would do everything to help me and that I would not have to pay for the purchase I didn’t receive to telling me I would have to “figure it out for yourself”! Shame on you, sport chek

yeah do not use the online service I needed to make a size change on an order and emailed the company immediately but I am being told you have 1 hour to cancel an order. even though it takes them 5-7 days to ship the item never again will I buy from sport chek hell I might boycott canadian tire aswell

I have shopped at Sport Check Beacon Hill several times over the years and always had a great experience. My latest visit was awesome, and nice young man named Angel helped me find the right hiking boots. New to hiking I really needed some help...he was patient and paid attention to what I asked. I ended up with a great fit, the boots look great and I am very grateful!! All the staff were helpful !!

Very bad, unempathetic experience: My daughter purchased a $100 basketball for my son for Christmas. Gyms closed until February and then in March, when my son finally thought he'd use his new indoor ball, he notices that it's a 28.5", not a 29.5" as the packaging it's in says it is. I tried to take it back today to exchange and regardless of pandemic, offer to take a cheaper ball of the right size in exchange, can't do anything for me as it's over the 60 day exchange limit. I point out that it's in the wrong package and I get a shoulder shrug. Come on. Anyone wanna buy a $100 dollar bball, cheap?? I will never set foot in another Sport Chek

Garbage system. They'll charge you card AND place a hold for 2 weeks, essentially double billing you. They'll cancel items because they're short stocked or low inventory, but the don't release the funds for 8 business days! Don't buy online. Go into the store and if they don't have the size or item you're looking for, get them to order to the store or your house for free. Online shopping with them will waste 2 weeks of your time.

Similar experience as a customer below. I placed an order for 2 pairs of shoes on Dec. 30. The first pair was set to arrive from TForce on Jan 5/22- however they claimed they had the "wrong address" and sent the shoes back to the warehouse. It is now Feb 14/22 and still no refund. I received the other pair via Canada Post Jan 14/22. This company is giving people the absolute run around.

First time I ever ordered online, or bought anything from Sport Chek. My new Garmin 66st GPS arrived, box only, no GPS. I called customer support, and was told someone will get back in 2 days, to see about processing a refund. Since I paid with Canadian Tire Mastercard, I can make a claim with them also if worse case. Very disappointed, will boycott this awful place forever.

I ordered expensive ski goggles from Sportcheck and when I received the package all it contained was one lens (it was supposed to come with two lenses) AND NOTHING ELSE. Someone had removed the goggles from the box at the factory before it got shipped to the customer. I have never had anything like this happen from from any other company before. Buyer beware from Sportcheck online ordering.
