Very bad, unempathetic experience: My daughter purchased a $100 basketball for my son for Christmas. Gyms closed until February and then in March, when my son finally thought he'd use his new indoor ball, he notices that it's a 28.5", not a 29.5" as the packaging it's in says it is. I tried to take it back today to exchange and regardless of pandemic, offer to take a cheaper ball of the right size in exchange, can't do anything for me as it's over the 60 day exchange limit. I point out that it's in the wrong package and I get a shoulder shrug. Come on. Anyone wanna buy a $100 dollar bball, cheap?? I will never set foot in another Sport Chek

Garbage system. They'll charge you card AND place a hold for 2 weeks, essentially double billing you. They'll cancel items because they're short stocked or low inventory, but the don't release the funds for 8 business days! Don't buy online. Go into the store and if they don't have the size or item you're looking for, get them to order to the store or your house for free. Online shopping with them will waste 2 weeks of your time.

Similar experience as a customer below. I placed an order for 2 pairs of shoes on Dec. 30. The first pair was set to arrive from TForce on Jan 5/22- however they claimed they had the "wrong address" and sent the shoes back to the warehouse. It is now Feb 14/22 and still no refund. I received the other pair via Canada Post Jan 14/22. This company is giving people the absolute run around.

First time I ever ordered online, or bought anything from Sport Chek. My new Garmin 66st GPS arrived, box only, no GPS. I called customer support, and was told someone will get back in 2 days, to see about processing a refund. Since I paid with Canadian Tire Mastercard, I can make a claim with them also if worse case. Very disappointed, will boycott this awful place forever.

I ordered expensive ski goggles from Sportcheck and when I received the package all it contained was one lens (it was supposed to come with two lenses) AND NOTHING ELSE. Someone had removed the goggles from the box at the factory before it got shipped to the customer. I have never had anything like this happen from from any other company before. Buyer beware from Sportcheck online ordering.

Purchase a winter jacket, was told 3-5 days shipping but because of the holiday they said 7-10 well, it’s been 16 days and still no winter coat. Canada post blames sport check and sport check blames Canada Post what joke.

I had a bad experience few days ago with Sportchek. I ordered a Nike air max shoes through online. The status of the delivery shows that delivered. Till now I didn’t get the product. I try to contacted the customer service few times. They said they are not responsible for the missing item. First time, Worst experience in online order.

I can say terrible customer service they can’t even answer my question they took my money when I asked them why and when you guys send my money back they couldn’t answer me I am disappointed with this service they used my money whiteout the reason they canceled my purchase’s

Today I experienced the worst customer service you can imagine. I received 3 x presents from my kids for Christmas and one dry fit tshirt was too large so I wanted to exchange for a one size smaller. Shae at Coq location said that none of the 3 gift receipts match the tshirt and she would not exchange for smaller size. I insisted that one of those three gift receipts has to match,( I brought all free gift receipts because I was not sure which one it is) I asked politely to check again and again then with attitude Shae said, yes it’s on your receipt. Really, if you do not know how to look up items on the gift receipt then you should ask your supervisor to help you instead of asking me to purchase another tshirt.

Package took extremely long to arrive. Shoes won’t fit and they will not pay for return shipping. What’s the point of shopping online?

absolute waste of time, order sat "ready to go" for over a month! This happened 3 times, guess I didn't learn to stop ordering from Sport Chek online! Customer service is ZERO help either.

Order Dec 21. Out for delivery Dec 24 with explicit instructions on where/how to deliver. TForce fails to deliver. I emailed them again with instructions. Nothing. Dec 31 they claim they have sent back to Sport Chek. I call customer service and they verify it’s on the way back to them. They will refund my purchase in - get this - 30 days. No offer to ship back out again. No help from person on phone, who also refused to give his name. Instead he chose to hang up on me. What a joke.

same as many reviews. terrible experience and so far product didn't arrive. It says it has been shipped but the courier confirmed it is a lie. They keep saying a manager is looking into the case and will get back to me by X date but they don't call (and I called 3 times now and get the same response). I recommend never to order on their on-line shop, it is a gamble and most times you wont receive the product and end up spending more time trying to cancel then getting anything resolved (as of course they already charged me - twice!). This is the third time I have issues. learned my lesson, never again.

Very Bad experience for this Christmas online buy! I bought two full set of Snowboarding equipment on 24/25 Dec. It was saying it deliver 5-7 business days. Because of items avaliablity I guess, it shipped from 3 locations which one of them are from AB. When I learn from the carrier that it won't arrive until 7 Jan 2022. I was so disapointed as my kid planned the trip on 5th. If I have knowing that is the fact I will either go to buy and pickup myself as it advertise 24hour pickup!! I called your customer services and the attitude was so bad which originally I was just to check out what is my options (buy another one and refund the in-transit?) Forget about the options, I was getting a very impolite loug voice using standard script and tell me that is all!! . At the end I demand to speak to the supervisior and the agent ask me "why?" and put me waiting for 5-10 mins, Finally reflect my situation to the supervisior and I just don't want to up sad people on New Year Eve. However I do stress the point "should listen to the recording...." Don't get me wrong, the supervisior is much better even is still going nowhere but she explain to me what she can do and what is out of her power. After hangup the phone, now with that agent attitude, I am really worry as the agent got every information including where I live. I usually only buy thing online for "good company" or else I can be anonmous. If someone high enough in SporkChek read this, I hope you have a measures to protect "us" (maybe not full info) for situation like this. Again, I will thing twice if I ever buy from you at least online..... To say that I can full accept late shipment but I never think I should get "the worry" and "the treatment" when I try to see what options I have!!!!!

Our local Lloydminster Sport Check NEVER has your size of shoe. So I went online to order for our boys. Placed my order and shoes were on sale! 2 Days later they cancelled my order because the size was no longer available. I called in to make sure Sport Check knew of my disappointment in this. Never should a person ever be able to add an item into a cart if it is unavailable. Sport Check, your inventory system is very outdated and you need to stay up to date with the competition. No other online shopping company allows you to place items in your cart and then 2 days later say "Oh sorry, someone else must have taken your size and we no longer have them". This is the most ridiculous and archaic system you have. I will go elsewhere from now on! You are the last online shopping place I will go to.

Ironic...on the Sport Check website it states "proudly Canadian". there was not "proud" moment in my recent experiences with Sports Check. I wanted to buy my daughter a winter coat but her size was not available at the Mississauga location. It was on sale for $159 + another 25% off. The coat was available in Whitby , (where she lived), however we had to pay Full price as they did not observe the Sale price of $159 that square 1 had, nor the advertised price on their website. We paid an extra $100 for her coat as her x-petite size is difficult to find. This is supposed to be a national chain, however each store operates via their own rogue rules. At the Brampton Trinity store I was charged twice for 1 item and had to wait for security footage to be viewed. The store closed and I had no choice but to wait for my refund or I don't think I would have gotten it. I also experienced the miserable return policy. I was not able to get a refund because the "system" could not be overridden for items purchased greater than 30 days, so a store credit was provided instead. My thought of course was, what am I going to do with a store credit for a store/chain that I consider to be a despicable place to shop. Not very Canadian Indeed!

Ordered kid's winter jacket, took over 3 weeks to arrive and when it did the security tag was still attached to the jacket. So now have to spend an hour driving to the nearest sport check to have it removed. This was the first and will be the last time I order on-line from Sport Check,

Do not order online if you want your products anytime that's reasonable. Live in Toronto and ordered a Fitbit and still waiting after three weeks. Said it's in stock.
