“Zero stars actually. I ordered a dress that was not custom. Standard size. Upon receipt I began to attempt a return. The dress quality was poor and it was very uncomfortable. 12 days of emailing and chatting and the run around only for them to say it is a custom dress and not returnable. It most certainly is not custom, they just want to keep your money. I would strongly discourage anyone from buying here. The dresses look nice, but you might get something other than what you were hoping for and then your stuck with it and instead of purchasing through a U.S. dress shop you are not out times 2 because guess what, you go back to the dress shop anyway.”

“Horrible company. They do NOT accept returns! I specifically called them and talked to someone who said that they accept returns 14 days after purchase. This is NOt true. They just delay tactics. Do NOT buy from them!”

“I am struggling to return a suit due to the trousers being too big. I have requested a ticket, sent photos that they requested and to date still haven’t got the returns details. Would recommend you never buy from this company.”

“This is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with. The dress that was advertised and ordered is NOT what we received. It was supposed to be gold and black, it arrived being iridescent and covered in large, oversized, tacky glitter when it was advertised as a nice, shimmer underlay. I contacted customer service immediately and followed all instructions as according to their return policy. They have since offered to make me a new dress but at a cost to me and then encouraged me to resell the dresses for money. (Their words) I have fought with them and explained that I didn't want the original dress I received and definitely don't want a new dress from them. We have since had to purchase another dress locally as the event came and went without them making right on their mistake. Save yourself from throwing your money away to a disgusting, scamming, sorry excuse for a "company". I do not understand how they are still able to have a website up and a so-called business when so many people have been scammed. This is heartbreaking to see happening to so many people. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. However, if you are a person that likes to just give money away, maybe choose a more deserving charity than this scam...”

“Buyer beware! This is a front for some shady business practices. I asked about returns before I bought 2 sizes of the same dress. I have been trying to get them to authorize a return for 3 weeks. They urged me not to worry that it wouldn't be a problem and then John tried to get me to buy another dress for $50. What is going on here.”

“You can’t return the dresses if they don’t fit. They refuse to provide return address for months, and then when they finally do, it goes to a China and they refuse to accept your package. DO NOT BUY HERE!”

“Fraud!! Have you seen your rating??? It's 7% in case you haven't noticed. The customer service is atrocious!! I've been trying to return a dress that doesn't fit, tried for 2 weeks in fact, but keep getting the runaround. I guess there's a reason for that rating that only 7% of viewers recommend. Never experienced ANYTHING like this before!!! WOW!!!!!”

“I purchased a dress for my wedding and it was NOT like the picture. I have been trying to return it for two weeks now. They say they will accept a return but will not provide the dress. They are trying to get you to keep the dress in exchange for a small refund of $45. Do NOT buy from this company!!”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Bought a dress which looks nothing like the photo. The buttons on the reverse are not aligned so tried to send it back, as they advertise you can do and they wouldnt accept it and offered me a minimal amout back. They ought to be struck off for lying and doing business in this way.”

“Quality of product is good but they lie in that you cannot return or they give you the runaround. Received dress on 2/28 and it was too small. Started a ticket on 2/29 and it’s now 3/11 and at least 4 emails back and forth and still getting nowhere. They won’t give you an address to return it. Asked for pictures and now offered $40 refund only. I’ve contacted my credit card to dispute. Last response was basically starting over saying sorry it’s taking so long we are just busy and you have 14 days to return. I’m guessing they want that to lapse so they can say it’s over the 14 days.”

“Wouldn't even give stacees 1⭐ sent my dress back they said don't send it signed for originally so I said no it's going to be signed for so I know you have it! I sent the tracking number and they said soon as we received it we shall refund they got the dress 2 days later and STILL said once we have it we shall refund. So I was messaging and messaging no response in days to them say we shall only give 60£ when they said they would refund full amount ! This is not on and please whomever reads this DO NOT ORDER YOUR DRESS FROM THIS PLACE I CANT STRESS ENOUGH they are scammers they are only based in Manchester in an industrial sighting so whatever they tell you don't believe I really would get trading standards involved and the police”

“Please please don’t buy from this scam company!!!! Like other reviewers I bought 2 standard dresses for my daughter. Confirmed via the Stacees chat function that one could be returned but now they won’t accept it. Offered a small fraction of the cost and can keep the dress but that’s not what I wanted or agreed!! They keep fobbing me off!! Absolute scammers!!”

“Iscam on their return policy. I bought two dresses for prom. Not custom order. They emailed me back asking for measurements, not thinking anything of it I sent in measurements. They did not say it would be considered custom order. Now they are not accepting my return. I am going through my bank for a dispute.”

“I bought two prom dresses from Stacees as my daughter couldn’t decide which she preferred. I contacted the online chat facility and was told if we order a standard size we could return them, I just needed to email Stacees and they would send me a return address. Sadly, this has not happened. Both dresses need returning as they do not fit and, as the other reviews have said, I’ve been given the run around. I contacted Stacees immediately to say I wanted to return the dresses and since then I have received a number of emails offering me a fraction of what I paid, the latest offer was £60 and I paid £220! I have asked for this to be escalated to the manager but again, this hasn’t happened. I wish I’d read the reviews on returning items before purchasing the dresses as I would not have used this company. My advice is to avoid at all costs.”

“Avoid! Avoid! Still waiting for a refund I spent £100 on a dress it did not fit. I emailed them on the day I received the dress and they keep fobbing me off. They then sent an email to say that i can keep the dress and sell it on with shipping fees it won’t be worth my while sending back. Disgusting and so unprofessional.”
