"I just want to make people aware not to use this company. You can not return items no matter what. I ordered two prom dresses which they pressurised me into giving the measurements for each dress, which they ended up making them the wrong way around. They will not accept responsibility and will not let you return them. Please avoid."

"This company is a scam do not order from them, they wont accept your items for a refund even if you're within their policy. I ordered white dresses in standard sizes and these didn't fit the girls even though they match the measurements within their size guidelines. The colour also was BLUE tinted not white. They take over 24 hours to reply and refuse to refund , its like they divert the questions and avoid a refund. I was concerned when ordering and pre sales reassured me that I would get a refund for the dresses I didnt like... absolute CON please avoid."

“If anyone is considering buying from these I wouldn’t bother. I checked with them before ordering what their returns policy was. I was informed that as long as I ordered a standard size returning wouldn’t be a problem. I chose to order two dresses knowing I could return one. After a month of waiting for delivery the dresses arrived. Then the fun and games began. They are now refusing to refund me for the dress I want to return. Only offering 70% and their maths 70% of £110 is £45 🤷‍♂️. I do have an email that confirms what I’m saying with regards to the return’s policy pre purchase.”

“My birthday is February 29th I ordered a dress and I paid the extra to have it shipped on time for my 40th birthday photo shoot I only get a birthday every 4 years and I wanted to make it special since it was my 40th well dress never came in I got the tracking number and it says it was delivered to the original sender I contacted them never got my money back or the dress the tracking number still says it’s in LA ! These people are shady”

“This is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with. The dress that was advertised and ordered is NOT what we received. It was supposed to be gold and black, it arrived being iridescent and covered in large, oversized, tacky glitter when it was advertised as a nice, shimmer underlay. I contacted customer service immediately and followed all instructions as according to their return policy. They have since offered to make me a new dress but at a cost to me and then encouraged me to resell the dresses for money. (Their words) I have fought with them and explained that I didn't want the original dress I received and definitely don't want a new dress from them. We have since had to purchase another dress locally as the event came and went without them making right on their mistake. Save yourself from throwing your money away to a disgusting, scamming, sorry excuse for a "company". I do not understand how they are still able to have a website up and a so-called business when so many people have been scammed. This is heartbreaking to see happening to so many people. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. However, if you are a person that likes to just give money away, maybe choose a more deserving charity than this scam...”

“Quality of product is good but they lie in that you cannot return or they give you the runaround. Received dress on 2/28 and it was too small. Started a ticket on 2/29 and it’s now 3/11 and at least 4 emails back and forth and still getting nowhere. They won’t give you an address to return it. Asked for pictures and now offered $40 refund only. I’ve contacted my credit card to dispute. Last response was basically starting over saying sorry it’s taking so long we are just busy and you have 14 days to return. I’m guessing they want that to lapse so they can say it’s over the 14 days.”

“Please do not purchase from this company! I bought a bridesmaid dress and I am having trouble sending it back. Firstly they keep telling me they can only refund part my money due some irrelevant ball excuse they made about delivery and “saving me time and money” offered to pay me back £15 and keep the dress and flog it elsewhere. I paid £99 for this dress. After just reading reviews i wish i never bothered. I have threatened them with trading standards and also contacted my bank for them to refund the money in case they refuse too. Absolute joke !”

“supportive company with terrible dresses I requested a full refund as the dress is way too thick and heavy, the skirt is separate from the dress which was not explained in the description. This dress is unworn and did not fit. I got married overseas and the dress did not get delivered until the day before my flight so could not return in within the 14 days.... the refused to refund the dress. THIS IS A WARNING TO EVERYONE !!!”

“DO NOT BUY FROM STACEES! Scam, fraud, lying company! All their pics are stock photos! Not of the actual dresses! And they have no available phone number!! Only a WhatsApp number which is invalid!! I ordered two dresses in the same color for an event. The first was clearly a different color, it looked silver not navy and had glitter falling off constantly. And it came wadded up inside out stuffed in a shipping bag! The second was the right color but was damaged. It had all the sequins and beads off one whole side. You could see beads and sequins all inside the bag! Their policy says satisfaction guaranteed and they will refund fully including shipping for color deviation or damage. I have communicated multiple times daily for over three weeks! You only get a response in the middle of the night! (Which I had a chat rep finally tell me it’s because they are not in UK as stated but all employees are in HONG KONG!! Then all they will ever say is the would give me 30% refund and keep the dresses because they would not likely arrive if I return them!! And IF I chose to return they would give me 70% minus the shipping of the dress once and IF they receive it!! They are a fraudulent company for sure!!”

“I purchased two dresses and paid extra to have them delivered by a certain date for prom, they arrived SIX days after promised date. I had to purchase otber dresses for the event. Upon initial contact I was told to contact them when the dresses arrived and a full refund and return would be initiated, 8 emails later and they are still refusing to refund and return and are now saying they want to charge ME $50 a dress to return for return shipping. Purchase locally and from the US, this company is out of China and does not care about customer service!”

“The dress looked nothing like the picture of the dress we thought we were getting. The applique looked as if it was just cut and stitched with overflow material stitched on as well... The dress wasn't long enough in the front even though I measured exactly as they requested. The lining is hanging from the bottom. It looked cheap and rushed.”

“I ordered a standard size dress but they emailed insisting that it was made to measure, what a disappointment! It was not made to the measurements I sent and had 2 holes in it!! The company need to do something about their customer services, despite several emails and requests they refuse to send me a returns form, instead they offer nominal amounts to compensate, £20 is a joke considering I spent £164. It seems impossible to get a refund! I will never use this company and I will do my best to make sure I tell everyone NOT to use this company!”

“£237 to have a custom wedding dress made after confirming with them they accept returns and offer returns etc if the dress is poor quality or not what I was expecting. I was promised 15 days turn around, 27 days later it finally came and is unwearable! My ivory dress was delivered with 3 random pieces of white appliqué that stand out like a sore thumb, all with plastic threads hanging off/out. The tulle skirts are a solid 3 inches longer than the base skirt and not cut straight so they are all wonky and different lengths to each other. One of the cups is sewn in to the side instead of the front creating a weird gaping effect that apparently is my body rather than their obviously wonky sewing. When I requested a refund they went back on what they had previously told me and refused it, according to Scamees they sent me a perfect dress and even included a picture of said perfect dress in their email. The dress pictured was white, my dress is ivory. They then offered me £20 for me to take my dress to a seamstress to fix their errors or for an additional £50 they will remake the whole thing! Utterly awful, I took a gamble trying to get a cheap wedding dress for my small and low key wedding and it did not pay off.”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Ordered a bridesmaid dress and after it taking 3 weeks to arrive, the dress that arrived was nothing like it was advertised. Awful quality and and awful shape. Looked like a curtain!! When I tried to return they have this backwards policy where you can only claim 70% of your refund back? How is that allowed? When they finally replied to me after weeks of emailing them, they said If I went for the 70% refund I would still have to pay half for delivery and that’s without a guarantee they would receive it! Ultimately they gave me no other option than to accept a £25 refund. I have attached the photo of what dress they advertised compared to what arrived! Awful! They are a shocking company with shocking customer service!! Do not buy from here!!”

“I collaborated with Stacees in the Miss British Isles Elegance 2022 competition. I had purchased a sky blue ball gown from the company and I looked like an absolute princess. The material was made out of high quality material and the dress fitted me perfectly. I contacted Stacees and asked if they would like to collaborate with me in the Miss British Isles Elegance 2022 competition and I received an email from the manager saying that they were very interested and said that their designer would make me my very own dress for the final for free. During my collaboration with Stacees, I have received great communication throughout and the company could not do enough for me day or night. I am looking forward to wearing their dresses in the final in September. I would definitely recommend Stacees despite all their awful reviews. I had a great experience while collaborating with Stacees! DON'T LET THESE BAD REVIEWS PUT YOU OFF FROM BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! “I ordered a lovely dress, standard size unfortunately it came and had been customised and did not fit I contacted stacees and sent photos of the dress with tags and a description where it did not fit like they asked for ….. but have no reply to my emails even though I have contacted them several time … the dress was for my daughters wedding and I couldn’t wear it …. I am thoroughly disappointed in there customer service as the dress was not cheap.”

“Avoid like the plague.... Disgusting customer service. I wasn't happy with the product and wanted to return it. I (eventually, after chasing up a WhatsApp number to contact) got a return email with a massive guilt trip about how long had been spent making it. They gave me the option of £35 towards someone else adjusting it or to pay them another £70 for a new dress, which for me admits fault. The last email I sent requested a return address in exchange for a refund and I have been ignored. Absolutely disgusting!!! I am resigned to the fact I am not getting a refund and hope no one else is put in the same position.”
