Staff heroes are a chap agency and I highly recommend that people don't choose this platform. The shifts are scarce and some people see certain shifts that others don't.They claim it's down to experience but this isn't the case. They take on more people everyday but don't have enough jobs. It's common sense to stop taking on people when there's 10 jobs or less every week. Plus the pay is £7.81 are you kidding me?! I will be leaving them any day now they're a waste of time. If you are considering joining them don't waste your time the shifts have been scarce for a while you'll probably get maximum 3 shifts a month if any at all.

Dear Winnie, Unfortunately out of the 12 shifts you have done through the Staff Heroes platform you have received a low average rating of 3/5. Furthermore you have been blacklisted by the last two businesses you have worked for. We set very high standards for our Heroes which would have been explained when you joined the platform (we are not an agency...). Our Quality Team made the decision to deactivate your account due to your poor performance. They did however give you a courtesy call to explain why, so your feedback is surprising. To also explain the Heroes with the highest ratings get notified of shifts first. So 5* heroes would be notified first, then 4.5* and so on. Because you have a 3* rating you would have barely received any shift notifications and certainly not for our more premium customers or premium rate shifts. Team Staff Heroes

Unfortunately we had some massive bookings cancelled at the last minute by a large customer due to unforseen circumstances, apologies for this but it was outside of our control. We have also made changes to our payroll set-up so payments should be back to normal and always paid on time the following week. Too early to rank 5 stars, but all in all quite good. They have a large span of companies that you'd definitely want to get your foot in. In one month i managed to work for Renaissance, four seasons, marriott hotel and many more. I must say the clients sometimes can be a pain, so be smart, vigilant and stand your ground. You want earn money and experience, but this does not mean you have to be stupid. All in all though not bad

Unprofessional behaviour. The payment is always wrong. Hereby I attach a few pics of my job card in wembley stadium which no one can doubt of. I was paid at least 2 hours less in one of these shifts. Unacceptable. Next time I will publish my payslip as well. Thanks.

Few jobs, dealing with large organisations such as Wembley Stadium where the management is multi-layered and inept, noone to talk to in the Staff Heroes office as it's all automated. Hard to get steady work. Avoid.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. As mentioned during the assessment you will need to do at least 3 shifts to get a rating. Until then you will only see entry level roles. Regarding Wembley it's not for all but the general feedback from our Heroes is that it is one of their favourite customers to work for as they have a great working environment and managers. We have gone through a big growth period recently and we could have done better responding to queries in a quicker way. We have now grown the team to provide even better support. Hi there, Apologies for any confusion. We're an online platform so everything is done online. We have over 30'000 Heroes registered with us so we try and make everything self service. We would love to be able to speak to every single person but it's just not possible. There are different assessment types depending on your level of experience, it is up to you to pick the right one http://www.staffheroes.co.uk/schedule-assessment/ You would also have received an email when you booked the assessment which also allows you to cancel or change the date. The system for choosing your own work on the website is very good, and it's useful to receive emails & occasionally text messages about work available

The concept is good but the app doesn't work and nor the system, is essentially useless when looking for work. Also I don't understand why on the first offer rates are between £11 and £18 depending on skills and position but most of the jobs that I've received are between £9.12 and £10.30 as maximum! Additionally receiving offers for 3 hours work paid at c.£9p/h when travel entails long distances and a high travel cost makes no sense.

Hi Amadeo, thank you for your feedback. Could you let us know specifically what doesn't work at support@staffheroes.com as we haven't had any other reported issues? The rate depends on your level of experience in your profile and your work history. Your profile will also be more attractive to employers and you will be shortlisted more frequently if you have as full a work history as possible with at least two references, and a good employer rating. The purpose of our system is that you have full control over the hours and where you work, whether you want to work 3 hour shifts or 12 hours. For example 3 hour shifts are very popular with students based in central London which they can fit around their schedule. There is no penalty for declining shifts, you may also want to adjust the distance you are prepared to travel in your profile. Team Staff Heroes

I was with staff heroes for one year. Unlike other agencies such as Host, Evolve and Off To Work, they don't provide regular shifts. I would do two shifts every month with them then use other agencies to do extra shifts. They've changed the app and the new app is rubbish, the old one was miles better. They also take too long to respond to messages. The only good thing about them is they've increases their pay to £9+ while before it was £8.03.

I’m a student so the important thing for me was to be able to choose jobs from different times and not to be obliged to work specific days of a week continuesly. You guys offer the perfect deal for me! Cheers!
