Very unsatisfied, the size chart on the website is totally incorrect. It indicates 34” to 36” is a large and when I ordered the two belts in a Large I received 40” I proceeded to return the belts and you are asking for me to pay for the shipping costs. I made my purchased based on incorrect information on your website and you expect me to pay for return? Totally unprofessional! In addition, I sent a subsequent email after I received my order over a week ago inquiring about the size chart and noone ever got back to me. Totally unsatisfied and will never order again from you.

I ordered a pair of Red Wings for delivery on a Friday. Unfortunately, I wasn’t going to be in for the scheduled date for delivery the week after on the Tuesday and asked DPD to drop them off at a local pickup point. The shoes were not delivered to the pickup point and returned back to Stuarts dispatch. I contacted Stuarts about this incident twice. First time, I rang them on Wednesday, they were very accommodating and stated they have made a note regarding the returned shoes, as well as stated that once the shoes had been returned they would send them straight back out again to me. The second time, on a Friday, I emailed Stuart’s to chase up whether to shoes had arrived and whether they would ship them out again. They replied promptly that the shoes had just arrived at their dispatch and they were in the process of shipping them back out to me. “Happy Days!” I thought. However, an hour later I received a phone call from that one of their team had dispatched the shoes to another customer and since they had none left in stock they couldn’t send me another pair. Terrible service after many promises that Stuart’s would send me the shoes. No remorse or gestures of goodwill. Shop elsewhere: Kafka Mercantile, Bureau Belfast, Hipstore, Oi Polloi, Consortium, Urban Excess, Article London, Goodhood etc.

I bought a pair of Redwing boots in a size 6.5uk and received a pair of 8.5’s instead. They were for a special occasion, so I had to order another pair from another store thus spending more money than I needed to.

Delivered wrong size and factory seconds by the looks of it. Customer service asked twice for photos and been waiting 2 weeks for a response.

I am well aware that the current action of Royal Mail might not be Stuarts of London's fault. But after not hearing anuthing after a week I contacted you (Stuarts of London) to enquire where my order was, to which you replied stranded at Heathrow. As far as I know the skrike action by Royal Mail workers has been ongoing for some time, to my knowledge- I am from Denmark, and I find it a little curious why you would continue to ship with a provider, who has very clearly given you advance notice that they might be on strike. It is now more than two weeks since I place my order, and I still have no clue when I can expect to get my order delivered. And. Yet again- no communication from you on... anything. The least you could do is to provide some kind of update...

A BRITISH XL IS NOT AN AMERICAN XL. THIS MEN'S VEST WAS TOO SMALL FOR THE RECIPIENT AND THE COST OF SHIPPING IT BACK IS PROHIBITIVE

Where do I start? I ordered a pair of boots from Stuart’s of London. They arrived with marks on each heel where a previous customer had kicked them off. I complained to Stuart’s who tried to pass this off as normal. See pictures and make up your own mind! I said these were unacceptable to me but would begrudgingly keep them if they were willing to offer a 10% discount. They did offer to exchange them but being so close to Xmas with lots of delivery delays due to postal strikes this wasn’t something I could accept. Stuart’s wouldn’t budge on a discount so I had no real option but to accept. They were pretty awful to deal with and tried to bully me into not writing this post, saying they would have me done for defamation! Now when you clearly state what happened factually they cannot do this. The fact that they tried to bully me and even said this is appalling. If you go on lots of review sites you will see that lots of other customers have had problems with them. I wish I’d of listened to other customers complaints. I will never ever use them again and would certainly never recommend them. Im sure Stuart’s will come on here with some kind of silly reply as I’ve seen on other review sites. All I can do is show you the pictures and tell you what happened factually.

when I enquired about the item I purchased i asked how much it would cost to return if it did not fit, no one mentioned any more than just the return postage. However it included postage to me as well and cost £12 in total. I think it is sneaky and very disappointing to not make this clear. Unlikely to repeat any purchases from you again.

I didn’t receive my parcel. They told me to allow five days for the delivery partner to investigate (which involved the driver returning to the address to essentially interrogate my mother and the neighbours). The driver then had the audacity to request I personally knock around doors because they cannot “remember” where the left the parcel and the retailer actually relayed that request to me as if that was an acceptable explanation. I couldn’t believe it. Two weeks since the parcel was allegedly delivered, I have no parcel and no refund. Stuart’s will expect you to wait for their delivery partner to compensate them first before they refund you (which is DPD by the way, that should have been the first red flag) which involves you having to wait for a form in the mail. So essentially they have you work to get THEM compensated before yourself. We’re currently experiencing strikes and clearly they don’t even send 1st or 2nd class because I still haven’t received form which was meant to have been sent last week - again this is according to Stuart’s, DPD had no idea what was going on and the woman on the phone sounded puzzled when I asked about the alleged “form” I had to sign, so I don’t know if they made up the stuff about the form. Christmas is at the end of the week and I don’t have a gift or money to replace the gift for the loved one. Filing a dispute with PayPal and my bank. Worst experience ever! Edit: Finally got a refund now I filed a dispute with PayPal and the refund was in FULL. If you came here looking for advice, I’d suggest disputing through your payment method because that’s the only way you get movement on a refund. Stuart’s are not interested in adhering to the Consumer Rights Act, hide extra in the T&C’s to make returns extremely difficult and the “Customer Service” reps do well at sounding like they want to help you. They don’t, they want to drag out the process til you give up. Be very wary of this company.

It has been almost a year and i have not received these shoes that i ordered for my father for the 24th of May. We tried calling, nothing. We have looked at the tracking from Royal Mail and it still says it's being dispatched despite it being more than 6 months. I would want my money back or the shoes. This is stealing.

I ordered two pairs of Burlington Socks on your website and paid for them. But only one pair was delivered, the other pair was 'Out of Stock. Refund was promised. I would have the liked the ch ance of choosing another pair from In-stock. Terrible Service

I am very disappointed that you would use an undependable delivery method during a labour issue to deliver my item. If not for Amber I would have no updates on my item and when or if I will ever receive this holiday gift in time. Very disappointing to say the least. Still not received though ordered November 29th.

Purchased on black Friday, took my money via amazon pay however never had any correspondence from the company regarding my purchase and still waiting for a refund to my bank. When I try and make contact the phone rings 3 times and then I get an engaged tone?

Ordered on 29th Nov, Order Ref:WEB582030, paid a delivery fee of £3.95 for purchase of £62.45 and yet not turned up and no tracking detail. Extremely poor delivery and customer service. Will not buy again from these lots
