Do thorough research about this company prior to purchasing. They do not care about their residents. You will be disappointed.

Do not enter into a contract with Sun Communities. They do not care about the properties or the residents that pay the exorbitant amount of land lease every month and they continue to increase every year. They do absolutely nothing to maintain the community and truly are not involved. If you are late for 15 days and communicate with them as to why and will get caught up, you receive a letter from their attorney stating eviction within in 30 days,.. Even if you have lived there for 15 years or more and pride in your home and also have to pay an Hoa as well. All maintenance and repairs are up to the homeowners… Sun just collects the land lease… do not buy into a sun community.

Don’t ever rent in the Sun Homes community you would be better off living under a bridge they are nasty greedy liars manipulative sneaky and they will tell you what you wanna hear when you call upper management it won’t do anything about your complaints they don’t care all they care about is the money I’ve lived here since 2005 and can’t wait to get out of here they up your rent every year there’s potholes in the roads it’s dirty there’s nothing for any kids any seniors they have no activities they don’t have a basketball hoop they don’t have anything and now they wanna charge you $10 to write a check a lot of people can get online and pay and set up an account but the seniors don’t know how to do that so they get screwed every month because they write checks sent home charges in $10 to write a check they don’t care all they care about is the money upper management Ken Kuiper He don’t care none of them care there are so many complaints on Sun Homes community property across this country if you people rent without checking reviews or buy in the sun home community you deserve everything that this Company is going to do to you they will kick you out in a heartbeat woman lost her husband before she could even get the Social Security around in her account from her husband‘s death Sun Homes started a victim in her they don’t care all they want is their money upper management don’t care either you can complain to the cows come home it ain’t gonna do any good so I’ll tell you right now run if you don’t run good luck!

Community Management are very rude the maintenance people are rude and liars and very intimidating corporate doesn't even communicate they are all liars money-hungry Democrat bastards they don't care about their tenants they're kicking them out left and right without a legal 30 day notice hope they all get the Coronavirus

Walden woods Homosassa Fl. We have a serious matter which is not being properly addressed by local management We have a ongoing problem on hollington terrace.The situation includes this person seen between between homes after dark including cigarette butts near windows.The local police are onsite time after time with no satisfaction. Screaming hollering coming from residence daily.Not a peacsful place to live Resident who lives here has a dog called brutus who runs free. Dog catcher cant catch him chases peope cars golf carts people trying to walk dog or just go for a walk. In between Brutus getting loose we have to listen daily cussing swesring as he walks the road back and forth . There are a countless number of complaints both verbal and written. Local management seems to claim they are addressing situation but Brutus and this crazy person walking back and forth talking loudly with extreme inappropiate language. This situation has been ongoing for two years I know of. At this point I have no choice but to hold sun community as your local management will not address problem to account. Local manager knows who brutus is knows situation well. I am demanding situatipn be addressed immediately as we as a community will take action.Resident cadbury terrace .Welcome any feedback through email thanks for listening.

Why am I being charged $1.000 transfer fee when I purchased my home through Lisa Cooper @ Mobile Home Spot Inc. Sun had nothing to do with the sale. This is fraud!!!!!

I lived in sylvan Glenn in brighton for 22 years . Great community until bought out by Sun. I am retired and in bad health .I have a truck and slide in camper which I've always had in my driveway. I do photography and used it daily. The park didn't care So I get a written notice I had 7 days to remove the truck and camper from my driveway or eviction would happen. They r ally wanted the 50.0 A month for their storage lot which used to be free to Tennant. So I sold my home and moved into my family home. This company only cares about money not the tenants at least that's my issue. Oh ya I payed them 9000. To sell my home. I really like the park and the management for me it pushed me out I am 71 starting over

These people don't care if your homeless we got a 7 date notice after we gave them what they wanted and they started about something else.when they want you out they will do whatever it takes to see it happen. Donna is the worst back stabber I have ever met. She acts like she is your friend but BEWARE she isn't. We are disabled and have little money after siding our place she went to the lawyers and said we didn't have our title well she would not give us our vin # nor the change of ownership papers she is doing this so we have to leave!!!

If zero was available I would have chosen zero! They do not care about the residents! Be warned! Do not get into a contract with Sun Community they withhold information then once you move in they hit you with it! They also choose the worst internet company Blue Stream without giving you a choice! Run and run fast away from Sun Communities!!

If you are looking to camp at Rock Crusher Canyon RV Resort for a short time, SKIP TO NUMBER 7. If you will be an annual, full-time resident of sun communities, READ THIS! Since they are a corporation, I would imagine this is how they do things throughout the company. 1. When you encounter management, if they decide they don't like you, they will use the word "AGGRESSIVE" to describe you to their Regional Director. 2. There is always that one person in the park who will file a complaint upon the managers request, to build a case against you. Even if they weren't even involved. Managers will also embellish complaints to be more than what they were. 3. When they want to get rid of you, they will give you a 7 day notice to cure. This means, don't do anything you just got in trouble for. The problem is, it will have at least one lie in it. (usually that you were fighting with your spouse, or, they will say you are destroying the property by hanging lights on trees) Then, if you comply, you have to be perfect for 12 months or they can evict you. But they will make it impossible for you to enjoy life. 4. Don't forget to register your dog. The last tenant that got evicted.....was for some other things, and .... not registering her dog. The office does not enforce this, but it is put in there because it is an eviction tool if they need to use it. Well, who wants an eviction on their record? Even if you would win, it will be there for everyone to see. Sun Communities knows this and plays off of it. They threaten everyone with eviction. 5. The only option is to leave before the damage gets any worse. They are doing this to 4 people in the park right now, and I have met a few people who had this done to neighbors. 6. Think twice about Sun Communities. The resort I am in is Rock Crusher Canyon RV Resort in Crystal River, FL. Although it is nice, The manager Kristi Kieffer is absolutely horrible. Very Rude. If you are pretty, watch out, you won't be around for long now that she has a boyfriend, (the landscaper) that has moved in with her. Don't let her catch him looking at you! I'm leaving in 10 days. If you are coming for a short time, please be aware of these things: 7. They are NOT kid friendly. (they say they are, but are not) 8. Kids cannot drive golf carts unless they have a license. 9. Pet fences are not allowed. So leave fido inside, or on a leash all day. 10. The clubhouse is closed. They are too lazy to clean it and they use covid as an excuse. 11. They do not have ANY activities. BORING! Again, covid is their excuse. 12. Ask them for the buy one get one days for camping. Annuals don't get a discount, but visitors do. 13. The office manager Kristi Kieffer has been absolutely awful to deal with.

Sun homes is the worst how in the h_ll are people suppose to live yall need to stop raising the rent every year in your mobile home parks here in michigan and all other states your in its ridiculous how in the h_ll are people that can't work and are on disability are supposed to live on monthly checks

I have lived in Rancho Alipaz in San Juan Capistrano Ca. for almost 20 years. Ever since sun took over this park it has gone down hill. The current management does nothing . It is supposed to be a 55 year senior park but people in their 30's are living here. My driveway is severely cracked and coming apart to the point where I fell. The pool and the jacuzzi have algae. They used to have a tenant appreciation dinner with choice of steak or chicken . Now its taco's . The streets are cracked and cars race through the park at speeds well over the 10mph speed limit. When I asked the management to fix my driveway they told me that I was on their list. That was 3 years ago. They always max out the rent increase every year. I wish I was able to move.

I live in a Sun Communities trailer park, the park manager is very nice- she’s just doing her job. However, the corporate office is extremely negligent in returning calls. I have talked to a girl Desiree a couple times who assured me I’d receive a call back. I tried to reach them for a year- they never returned any of my calls or emails, but in October they wrote a certified letter in attempts to intimidate us, they claim the park manager even knocked on my door to try to get into contact with me. That is a lie- someone is always here unless it’s Sunday morning- if they knocked on my door on a Sunday morning, that would be inappropriate- so I’d like to know when they allegedly visited my home. I have all email correspondence- no replies from their corporate office. They continue to raise lot rent with no explanation - they’re not doing snow removal - it’s difficult to get out of the park in my SUV as we live on a hill… we own our trailer- and they try to nickel and dime any chance they get. They refuse to help me fix an issue with the website they use to process their rent payments and I’m incurring an extra $10 monthly fee for paying with CERTIFIED FUNDS. They’ve been nothing but uncooperative and have attempted to gas light me, when I have done NOTHING wrong. They claim my bank account bounced, I provided documentation from my bank proving 1)the funds were there on the date of the transaction 2) they never tried to take any money from my account - they removed the NSF fee, but my account is blocked from making my rent payment and they flat out REFUSE to do anything to help me! The property manager has tried her best to help me to no avail, so I reached out to corporate at least 10 times before they sent me a certified letter!

Called head office 20 times about drugs being sold at snack bar at willow lake. No calls, Luc Gauthier doesn’t care. Opp investigating drugs being sold at snack bar. Do not go to sun rv…,they don’t care and managers take kock backs

Called corporate office twice . Never received phone call back. Management is horrific. Many people looking to sell their homes after years of living here because they are extremely unhappy of the living conditions.

Because Sun doesn’t take care of any property within the park, including the responsibility for dead shrubs & trees, it tries to pass this maintenance off on the residents. By fining residents over petty matters, such as weeds at the bottom of the driveway, it harasses & shirks its own responsibilities simultaneously... I finally got Sun to pave up to the bottom of my driveway but then I got ordered to take down a palm tree that died at that spot because of the constant flooding. When the tree guy Sun uses came to remove the palm, he said I wasn’t responsible for paying for it & he was upset by the way Sun ripped off its elderly residents. I sent this information by way of a complaint to Sun headquarters yet haven’t heard a peep… I may need to file a small claims case against Sun because the flooding also damaged the driveway & removed the paint where it meets the road, by a few feet toward my home. I’m not going to restore my driveway only to have it damaged again, because the drainage problem still hasn’t been resolved yet.

They have a typical corporate mentality. Charge the most for doing the least. When there's an issue they let it go on and on trying to claim plausible deniability and no knowledge of the issue until they're forced to fix it.

I work for sun communities I when I was hired they told me I would get a raise after 90 days lol that never happen I held of until my 1 year anniversary please note I have not called out sick or not been late 1 day so I ask for a raised never got it Recently they gave everybody a raised a whooping .28 A company that grossed over 2.97 billion at a 31% increase from last year and they gave me a .28 cent raised Wow talk about a cheap company then they want u Tom stay for an emergency or come in on a weekend then ask u to take off during week lol Not I I work Mon - fri that’s my hours
