“Had the unfortunate experience to choose Sunflower as letting agent for our property. He is Fraud, a Crook and bereft of any morality. True things that happened:
He told our tenants we wanted to let long-tem. in fact, our max was 6 months - this caused severe problems for all.
It was agreed that the last 2 month of tenancy we could do viewings (as we are selling our house): John had never discussed this, despite letting us it was agreed.
John did not pay us our due rent, and only after 4 months me chasing him, he came through.
When we sent our notice after 6 months by registered mail: John failed to deliver it...
The tenant had very bad reviews, and instead of 6 months, stayed 12 (they had a hard time finding another property, which I understand).
John did receive the deposit from the tenant, but failed to deposit in a scheme. This left us without any deposit.
The tenant left the house in a horrible state, did not pay the last 2 month rent, and refuse to pay for cleaning and repaid (remember John failed to take a deposit).
in all of this, John ignores calls and emails.
he is a horrible cheat thief and fraudster. he deserves jail time for all the horrible things he does to people.”
“People really should know how bad they are. They never ever respond to emails, they are rude. John is just a salesman, and only interested in your money. There’s no personal touches. They ripped us off. They are immoral and completely fake. Don’t go there. Both are very good at acting but that’s all it is, just an act, do not get taken in. Go somewhere with high standards and morals. Take note of the reviews!”
“I have rented out many properties in the past as an owner and tenant. Sunflower letting in Sevenoaks is by far the worst I have ever come across . John is the most incompetent useless dick head I have come across . Steer clear at alll costs.”
“Terrible agents who will never return any calls, emails or texts should you need them. One thing they are good at is to rip you off. He (John) has charged 5 weeks of deposıt whereas legally he was only supposed to charge for 1 week. You can only get part of the payment ıf you complain about them to the Property Ombudsman Office otherwise you wıll never ever be able to get a penny back. Do Stay cleer away from Sunflower Lettings as much as you can!!”
“They ripped us off. Money is still owed to us. They are scammers! They come across as really genuine and kind but it’s lies. When it comes to property and exchange of any money they have no morals. Do yourself a favour and go with a reputable agency. In the long run you’ll be happy you did. If you are renting out your property you are entitled to a good service. They don’t seem to appreciate that. The customer does not come first.”
“Horrible experience with this "agency". Super disorganized and dishonest. Loads of information missing at every point of their service. They've been around only when they needed to rent the flat and get the money. I left the flat (and the uk) months ago and still didn't get my deposit back, but I suppose I will never see that money. Stay away from them.”
