“Poor wasn't impressed”

“Platform is fine but the venue host I’ve been trying to coordinate with has been abysmal. Doesn’t respond until I follow up several times and isn’t interested in being helpful. I don’t plan on spending money like this again if this is the kind of communication I receive from a venue. I’d rather work with a place that actually cares about my business.”

“Tagvenue gave me the worng information for the venue I booked. It shut two hours before they said it would and there was no bar service on board the bus. Very disappointed and it nearly ruined my event. Will not be using their services again. I complained to the venue and they are sorting a drinks voucher to apologise.”

“I have to say was very disappointed. The space it self is nice. However. When I turned up to the space there was a black rubber floor taped over the maple wood floor that is advertised. I spoke to a member of staff and asked why the floor is cover and I was told that it is like this for half the year. Why is this not stated in the description. I specifically book this space for the floor and to show and it be covered was a massive waste of my time and money.”

“the experience was terrible, never got to attend because the person I was booking with decided to confirm the booking on the day of the booking at 8:20 am even though it was scheduled for 10am, giving me only 1hr and 40 mins to make it. The person responded far too late his name is Jim Marka.”

“Unfortunately, we have used several venues from yourselves and they have been very good, this one was not. It was laid out wrong and was unable to comfortably seat the number of people needed. As a result, we have had to refund money to our client. I would like a refund if this is possible?”

“Tagvenue is unwilling to provide a tax receipt even though they received the payment. This will not work for many businesses as invoices do not match the transaction. Venue managers and clients beware. Huge headache when trying to reconcile expenses.”

“I had originally booked for 6pm - 1am and then had to wait a week for the booking details as the woman went on her holidays and their was no cover for her and when she returned she said I can’t book from 6pm anymore only 8:30pm onwards… this is for a special birthday as well, I won’t be using this site again.”

“Do not book this place. When i arrived the venue looked nothing like the photos. Only one room is available and it’s right near the entrance so random ppl coming in can see you and all your friends. I asked why there was only one room available and showed the staff the pictures and they said they used old pictures. This is false advertising I strongly urge you to not book this venue.”

“I hired a venue through Tag Venue which went well, however an email went out promising John Lewis Vouchers for successful bookings made. I have been waiting for these vouchers and chasing them multiple times. Still nothing. Don't email out offers that you cant go through with. This has put me off using you again.”
