“I have bought two handguns and an AR-10 from Take Aim guns. They did not have in stock the scope that I wanted so I was referred to a Vortex Strike Eagle that is advertised as a 5x25. They did not have the 34 mm mounting bracket so I had to order that. I was working with Jack who I've known for quite a while. He is knowledgeable courteous and helpful. He promptly calls when your orders are in. When I got the mounting bracket it took a couple of weeks but I finally got to the range to site in the scope. And it was extremely disappointing to find out that you only get a Clear Sight picture at 8. Anything after that becomes more and more blurry so the scope does not perform as advertised. I called Jack and asked him if I could bring it back because it is not what was expected or wanted. He said bring what you have and I'll see what I can . Everything was brought back in the box just like brand new. I paid $700 for the scope and $90 for the mounting bracket. Add tax and of course that's over $800. Jack advise he would call the owner and see what he could do. To my dismay the owner would not refund the money for the scope and the mounting bracket even though it was still like brand new . There was not a mark on them and all the pieces that came with it in the Box were returned with it in the box like new. Jack advised me that the best the owner would do was give me a $400 gift certificate to the store. So basically I pay $850 for something that does not performed the way that I was told or is advertised and the owner will not refund the money but instead will give me a $400 gift certificate keep my other $450 and take the scope and bracket back. Jack apologize for this and I apologize to Jack that if that's the best the owner can do he just lost a customer and I will not be back. I've looked at these other reviews and this owner apparently does not know how to treat customers. He is clearly all about how much money he can make off of customers and not of making customers satisfied. You'd be better off going to a different gun store. If I had been offered $650 on the gift certificate I would have taken it but not even giving me half back is a slap in the face. It's insulting and disrespectful. I'm sorry Jack. To the owner. I've read other people's reviews of their one Stars the majority of them are lies that are presented about how much they will get for their firearms and then told something different when they get to the store. I'm sure that you're going to respond to this and say that this scope was damaged or scratched or had defects and that's why you only offered $400 but to all the one reading this that will be a lie. And I'm sure that if I had accepted your pathetic deal you would have taken the other 450 and put this scope right back into the display and resold it as new because it is still new. As far as I'm concerned with what I've seen in the reviews and heard from other people that I called that has stopped going to your store you are not trustworthy and you should not be in this business!”
