Avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This company outsources drivers from other companies. So you are paying 20% more but the probability that service would be bad is the same as just picking a random minicab online. I booked a transfer 4 days in advance, received email with confirmation and driver’s details on the same day, great! The night I landed I switched my phone on to find several email from several unknown taxi companies with booking confirmations and cancellation. Also received several messages from drivers… very confusing. Finally I received a message from a driver asking me to call him when the luggage is collected saying he’s waiting for me. Although it looks extremely unprofessional to give my contact details to several taxi companies and not even bother to send an email saying your booking has had some issues, but at least I felt relieved, I have a driver. Little did I know :) I call the driver as promised when luggage was collected, he told me to go to row E of parking 2, where I spent 15 minutes waiting for him at 2.30 am in Luton. But ok, whatever, I just want to get to a cab and sleep now, so he comes, I get in and he asks me to give him £5 in cash for parking (just fyi I’ve paid £91 to taxicode online for all inclusive service). So I explain to the gentleman that when I entered into a contract with taxicode for its services, there was no mention of extra charges (no mention of third parties being involved either) so I believe it will be only fair if 2 companies sort it out between themselves. I also mentioned to the driver that he made me wait 15 minutes, which for a pre-booked service it’s a bit too much and he should be ashamed asking me for parking charges on top of that. He got really angry and tells me he’ll leave me in the middle of the Highway where we were by then at 3 am. So to cut long story short I had to call the manager of the company this driver belonged to, obviously there was no support from taxicode in this hour. I can confidently say it was by far the worst experience I have had with a pre-booked taxi service and I’ll stick back to the good old Uber, it’s cheaper, they don’t ask for extra money and they arrive quicker.

Scam . Took my money then cancelled 15 mins before I was due to be picked up . Cannot get through to anyone on phone . SCAM!

Scam! They provide a phone number which can not be contacted. They apply cancellation fees for bookings which were never confirmed. Avoid this company by any means.

Don't use this company, they will screw your day over! I had a very important meeting to get to this morning. I booked a taxi for 4:20 am and the diver rang me and said he will be with me around 5. I had to cancel my taxi resulting in me missing the meeting! It's now 16:40 and I still have not received a refund - this was a long journey so was a substantial amount of money, will look at taking this up legally if it don't get it soon! I'm NEVER using this company again, I recommend that you do the same!!!

Stay away! TaxiCode is just the middle man between the customer and taxi companies. They do not have vehicles but are just an website and they have "partners". The partners are the actual taxi companies, usually very small ones or just one man band. Please use booking directly with companies as TaxiCode never ever refunds, they charge you and the taxi company. They act like being a UK company but they are actually from Pakistan ( with a Holland office). Stay away! Believe me, it's for your own good.

Booked and paid £140 up front for an airport transfer. The taxi was a no show. Rang ETS Chauffeurs - 07724249724 to see where they were. They knew nothing about it, couldnt make it as no cars available. Rang Taxicode to see what the hell was going on. They said they would call me back. They didnt. I got a lift to the airport as time was short. Then they cancelled the booking and refunded £24. Its basically fraud or theft. Cant believe google allow criminals to advertise on their website. Will contact the fraud dept of my bank plus trading standards.

THE WORST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE SO PLEASE DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY - We were honoured to be invited to a 'once in a lifetime event' at a Buckingham Palace Garden Party so we extravagantly booked a limo well in advance in joyful anticipation. They cancelled 3 times (a) one week before the event so we re-booked with them, (b) 2 days before the event and too late for us to go to another operator, so we re-booked with them (c) on the day of the event and 5 minutes before they were due to arrive which left us hugely upset, disappointed and in search of a cab! Arriving late for such a prestigious event is not great! Still waiting for a refund despite emailing several times with zero response.

Terrible!! Not able to contact them, no confirmation, taxi obviously didn’t turn up but fortunately I’d read the reviews so booked another taxi to come. I did get my money back AFTER the taxi didn’t arrive, but only because a taxi company who didn’t have anything good to say about them told me not to click cancel otherwise you only get 10% back!!! They are clearly hoping people will click cancel so they can keep 90% of everyone’s money!!!

Hidden extra charges. It's a sly con you cannot do anything about when you are a single female traveller unable to get home unless you pay the extras. The Driver, however, was nice helpful and drove well. His boss spent 20 mins yelling at me on the phone threatening to drop me off on the m25. Wouldn't produce any terms and conditions to back up the extras he wanted to charge for. Scammers. Dont use.

My main issue is that you quoted £95 for the fare online. I accepted this fare and paid for it. 24 hours before the booking you then stated that it was a mistake and I had to pay £15 more. Given your 90% cancellation fee I had to accept this further charge. I would not have booked with you if the true final cost of the fare had been given to me when I originally booked. I discussed this with you and you were unable to come to any arrangement for this.

The worst company for taxi bookings. I booked 9 days prior to needed, 4 days later the booking still was not confirmed, I tried to cancel to be told I would only get £19 of my £190 booking back. 10 days cancellation period at 10% refund is ridiculous and very unfair. Since read their reviews to find that they quite often cancel last minute or don't show so have lost the £170 and will never use this company again! Very angry

Booked mini bus for 8 people for £65 to return from wedding reception 4 days before event. Received an email just before leaving to attend wedding to say it had been cancelled. 😡 tried rebooking again and got a confirmed booking for £87. This then got cancelled when we were at the wedding 🤬 contacted them and were told by a customer service chap that our booking WAS confirmed and assured us a minibus would be there at designated time. Needless to say that also got cancelled just before it was required 🤬🤬🤬 DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE!!!! RUINED OUR DAY!!!

100% would not recommend them to anyone! I booked a minibus 2 and a half weeks ago, had £250 taken from my account promptly only to get an email this morning to say my booking had been cancelled 2 days prior to the event I’m attending! On top of that I have to wait between 3-5 working days for the money to be credited back into my account! Absolutely appalling! No one will answer my calls and I have had no email reply either. Although they offered the lowest price at the time of booking, for future, I would rather pay more and know I will be offered a reliable service! Their website still say they have availability although I have been told they are fully booked meaning more people will end up disappointed for sure! Terrible, terrible, terrible and I recommend you avoid it at all costs! They shouldn’t have taken my money in the first place if they knew they wouldn’t be able to fulfill the booking. Super disappointed!!!

This company promises lots but does not live up to them. I booked a taxi with 10 days notice and the day before I get an email cancelling the booking. This, despite the firm promising to find alternatives if the chosen company could not fulfil the booking. Why anyone should trust this company is beyond me. A complete and utter wast of time. You’d be better off simply burning a couple of ten pound notes. Never again.

Do not touch this could not care less no concept of customer service company with a barge pole. I booked and paid for a taxi to take me from Lynmouth to Barnstaple a week before. Not having had any details I called early on the day before it was due.They were shifty and evasive when I asked for details of the taxi company promising me they would call back claiming a computer /IT problem meant my details not available . There was no call back despite further chasing calls. I called again later that day ,so the evening before the taxi pick up due ,but met with the claim all operators busy leave a message and they would call back.I left messages requesting calls back. They never did at which point I checked my emails and discovered an email sent at 1.45 a.m. that morning unilaterally cancelling the taxi . They were almost certainly aware of this when giving me the spiel about being unable to give me any information and promising me someone would call back. I therefore called them back again requesting a call back as I was again shunted to the please leave a message and we will get back to you recorded message . Needless to say there was never any call back.A second email accompanying the unilateral cancellation email stated I had been refunded my credit card payment. A month later this refund has still not materialised . Clearly this company cannot to relied upon to provide either a taxi to turn up as contracted nor a refund when they have taken your money but provided no service whatsoever.

Can't believe how bad this company is. I booked then send them an email asking if they find a driver for me to which they said yes. 4 hours before departure, booking is cancelled. 0 star
