Cancel your booking whilst on the flight that they confirmed days ago- in the remark I mentioned I had a recent ankle surgery. Do not book!

THE DRIVER NEVER TURNED UP. The service is therefore JUNK. Pick up was booked 9am today from Hull TO Colchester. No one turned up. They even had the cheek to allege the driver waited outside MY property for 30minutes then drove off. So he came from London allegedly waited for 30mins and then drove off. Absolute BS. What kind off person would even do that without a knock on the door or a peep of the horn. The majority of taxi firms inform you that the driver is on the way. The TAXI firm was ECO TAXIS. No one even answered the phone when we rang 8am to make sure someone was on the way. Booking number TC06396EA742C.

We are currently on phone call 6 with this obviously fraudulent company who will not give us a refund even though we still do not have a driver to collect us for our booking this evening. They continue to say they do not have a driver, but if we cancel (to allow us to confirm a different taxi) we will not be given a refund. I have used them before and the same exact issue happened (no one turned up and I was stranded in the country). My husband unknowingly booked them and now I’m reliving the same dishonest, fraudulent experience. To top it off the last phone operator hung up on me mid conversation. Do NOT book with these crooks!!

Disgusting service, cancelled taxi with hardly any notice. I had phoned twice that day to confirm I had a pick up as I hadn’t had a confirmation email but the money had been swiftly taken out of my account. Twice I was told not to worry a taxi had been booked in and I would receive an email shortly! The only email I received after my phone calls was a cancellation one with hardly any notice for us to try and rebook elsewhere. Do not use them!

Truly Awful service. Really shocking. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Not only did they cancel my (prepaid in full!) mini bus booking for 11 people but it was done by EMAIL which was sent 15 minutes before they were due to pick us up. Not even with the courtesy of a phone call or text to let me know - or even an apology. I was furious. And then left in the impossible position of trying to arrange alternative transport for 11 people immediately. I will never use them again and fully recommend that others do the same if you value your sanity!

I'd have rated 0 stars if I could! Charged me in advance for a taxi from London to Luton airport. In the morning of the flight notified me that the driver would be very late, risking me (and 6 family members) missing our flight. Didn't offer any solution, and we had to scramble and find a public transport way to get to the airport. Then, for two weeks, despite repeating nudges, didn't get back to me about a refund. What a terrible service!!!

Booked a taxi, and had a change of circumstances. Called to cancel 36 hours in advance and they offered zero refund. Feel as though I've been absolutely stiffed. No not use.

Stay away! TaxiCode is just the middle man between the customer and taxi companies. They do not have vehicles but are just an website and they have "partners". The partners are the actual taxi companies, usually very small ones or just one man band. Please use booking directly with companies as TaxiCode never ever refunds, they charge you and the taxi company. They act like being a UK company but they are actually from Pakistan ( with a Holland office). Stay away! Believe me, it's for your own good.

Taxi driver asked for £20 extra for us making him wait (Our flight actually arrived early). He was then rude to my wife and said if we didn't pay he was leaving. When trying to get a refund the taxi driver photoshopped the whatsapp conversation deleting his message stating he was leaving. It seems Taxi code isn't actually the cab and they outsource it to someone else. Taxi code are basically forwarding my messages the taxi company and then sending me their response. They are taking no responsibility at all.

Awful - Stay away from this unacceptable below mediocre service. Booked a private car with meet and greet service at Airport due to late arrival. I've been told driver would have monitored my arrival, no one at arrivals, no one advising they were late and the driver arrived 1 hour later. I had to give him indications. The car was dirty and I could have easily taken a normal Uber car, which would probably costed me half of the price with better service. Requested a partial refund and they never replied 2 months after. I guess that they should shut the business as it is truly disgusting. Besides, stealing money from people and zero accountability.

Paid for a cab to take my disabled husband and I to Waterloo station 2 days in advance. We were texted a driver's name, vehicle registration and mobile number and then 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time the driver cancelled. I phoned the driver and he was extremely rude saying he was not prepared to go to Waterloo and hung up! When I phoned the office I was told that they were unable to help and to try 'plan B' I have been refunded but the service was abysmal.

Taxicode requested for additional 100 pound after I have paid for my ride 2 weeks ago. When I said no they cancelled it, instead to return my full refund, they are charging me. It is unfair and unlawful bullying and extortion.

We pre booked and paid for a taxi to seat 5 of us. The cab turned up and could only fit 4 of us. We had to order another cab to take us to the airport. Paying double. Taxicode took no ownership of sending wrong sized vehicle despite my receipt stating that I paid for a larger vehicle to accommodate 5 passengers. Very frustrating. Would NEVER recommend or use again.

I had the worst experience possible, it was really bad, i reserved a car and paid 58 GBP by card prior, where i stated that i have 3 big suit cases in the request, then when we reached the car that came was too small and it left us, the guy was too rude i asked him to cancel the journey and give me a refund but fe totally refused and made me pay extra 30 GBP to send another car and he insisted that i pay on the way although the internet was bad to the extent that he took the card network on whatsapp, he was too rude, the drivers that came all didn’t want to take us and the second car that he sent the driver didn’t want to take us and wanted to cancel as well or to make us pay extra 61 GBP, it was insanely bad experience, never deal with them

Filthy, late and appalling customer service. We booked a return airport pick up. The outward journey was punctual, clean and helpful. The return was anything but. Driver arrived over half an hour late leaving us stranded in the airport with no number to call him and the main office being closed. When he arrived it a completely different vehicle to what we booked he made us meet him in the car park. The inside of the cab was worse than a builders can. Full of litter, stale food, stains and old flip flops. Totally disgusting. Now waited over 6 weeks for any kind of customer services response. Doubt I’ll ever get one. Never use them

In July 2022 at 11pm in Palma airport I booked and paid £86 for a cab to pick us up from East midlands airport at 2am and take my son and i home. I eventually found out they were not able to provide a driver...but they tried to claim i had cancelled which they say menas they dont have to refund - eventually admitted that they cancelled but still havent refunded. it's now september. SCAM.

DO NOT USE TAXICODE.COM. Tried to cancel the reservation but if you read the fine print with each day closer to the actual pick up you loose most of your fare charge. Cancelled pick up and was still charged full fare. SCAM

Beware taxicode's non-service. I had a confirmed booking for a taxi to meet me from the London train to go across country from Castle Cary Station, Somerset, to the Mendip Crematoium, for a funeral on 16 August 2022. I had the confirmatory documentation from taxicode including that I had a wheelchair bound passenger. I had a confirmed driver and spoke with him from the train as it was running late. The driver said that he was at the station. When we arrived some ten minutes late there was no driver. Castle Cary is a tiny station with no taxi rank. I phoned the driver and he insisted that he was at the station. His English was not good but I found that he was at Elephant and Castle station in London - nearly 200 miles away! He was embarrassed and put me through to his controller who could not explain the problem. The line was very bad, there were no apologies for leaving us starnded nor attempts to find me another taxi, so finally I cancelled the whole booking. After much hurried phoning around local taxi services I found a friendly local taxi who diverted to get us to the funeral just on time. I used this taxi for the return journey to Castle Cary. Waiting for the London train I had aother call from a Taxicode driver. He wanted to know where I was as he was waiting for me. I asked where he was and was astomished to hear that he was at Sadlers Wells theatre in London! Again, nearly 200 mile away. The cost quoted by Taxicab was exctly 100 percent higher than the local taxi costs yet there was no service! I have tried emailing and phoning taxicode but after a week still have had no reply and my attempts to contatc the MD Jonathan Kettle, have been thwarted; and they are still holding my pre=paid £136 instead of returning it via my credit card! Do others have such a bad customer service from taxicode? Professsor Bob Garratt

Would give 0 if I could. Booked a cab and paid £118 up front. Cab was no longer required so tried to cancel it. This took numerous emails and text messages then finally they acknowledged the cancellation but kept 90% of the fare. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Do not use this absolute con artist company.
