I give these 1 star, because the review system doesn't recognise zero stars. I bought a phone from these people and saved myself about £45. When I eventually got it, within a week it was evident it had a fault ( on calls the speaker cut out intermittently so I couldn't hear the person I was talking to, but they could hear me at all times). Contacted TecoBuy straight away, was asked to do a factory reset, but no change. I was told to return it for inspection, and if a fault was found it would be repaired. If not, I would be charged the inspection fee, and return postage of the faulty phone !! No mention at all of refunding. And don't expect PayPal to be of any use, they're a waste of time and completely unhelpful, but that's another story. In short, if you're a skinflint like me then go ahead and buy from TecoBuy. But if you value customer service and your consumer rights when things go wrong, pay the little extra and buy from a UK seller. So instead of saving £45, I'm now out of pocket by £190. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!

I am an international student studying in Edinburgh, and I have ordered an OCULUS QUEST 2 from Tecobuy, after my order is made, I have found many negative reviews from its review websites, and many have said that they have paid money and got nothing or got second-hand product. I was really nervous when I saw these comments, and I have even request a refund from their website since I was afraid that I would experience sth like them. However, this company has sent me the product in 10 days, and it is totally brand-new, I do not know why there are so many fake reviews, are these due to the price war? because Tecobuy sell good products in a lower price? I don't know the truth, but now I am here for sharing my shopping experience. I have rated them for 5 stars.

Purchase a phone from tecobuy I read a reviews from trustpilot before hand all were positive. It was not until after I purchased the phone that I read very negative reviews from other sites that there was a very big possibility that I would be scammed so I requested a refund they did not reply so I emailed them again a week later still no reply. It wasnt until I opened a dispute against them via paypal that they responded almost immediately and gave me my money back. I would highly recommend that you do not risk you money and do not buy from this site. I am pretty sure that they paid people to write positive reviews.

Shocking service. Bought the device back in November, it worked for entire 2 minutes and then died. We took loads of videos and pictures to prove it did not work. We had to pay for it to be Sent to their UK based RMA centre to be repaired (not replaced). They had it for almost a month and then they responded to tell me that there is nothing wrong with the device and that I should either pay for it to be sent back to them (£32.00!) or they'll bin the device. I raised a dispute through Paypal and they have informed me that there is nothing they can do because they are based in China. Raised a case with the Trading Standards, they said the same. My options are paying them to send it back to me or lose out the entire refund. These people have completely robbed me blind. IF I get it back, I guarantee it is DOA again.

Below is the response after 2 months to a phone that I ordered that did not arrive. Dear Customer, I would like to inform you that the courier has closed their investigation. The courier has let us known that they have declared your parcel as a lost parcel. As you selected the standard shipping method for this order, your shipment was not insured. We have filed a lost parcel claim with the courier, and will refund the compensation offered by them. The courier has advised us of a compensation of £10, and this amount will be transferred to you through the payment method used to place the order. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused by the loss of this parcel. Should you need further support from us, please contact us.

Don't listen to all the negative reviews. Product takes longer to arrive as coming from Hong Kong plus we are in a pandemic, issues at Docks and Brexit so be patient. If you aren't prepared to wait go somewhere else. My phone came within 17 days, well packaged and a lot cheaper than if buying from somewhere else. Thank you Tecobuy. I highly recommend you to other people and would certainly buy from you again.

I bought an iPad Air from TecoBuy last month, I received an email to say it had been dispatched and gave me tracking number which I kept checking, I was getting concerned as I kept emailing the company to ask where my delivery was but never got any reply. I had a look at the bad reviews online and, because I paid by debit card, I was sure I’d lost my money, I was terrified they’d take more money out of my account so I phoned my bank yesterday. They were absolutely amazing and gave me my money back immediately, they will try to recover it from this company. Can’t believe google advertise this company and I bought through TopCashback, I would love to find out why they are allowed to use this website when there are so many bad reviews. Please don’t buy from TecoBuy, they are a SCAM.

NEVER Ever purchase from this company. EVER. I have paid for an item I do not have. Since the seller has tracking, PayPal refuse to refund as tracking shows delivered. What the tracking does not show, is that the item was refused by myself. Seller uses a logistics company SF express who passes the parcels to other companies to deliver. Royal mail attempted to deliver a package to myself which I refused. SF express has not updated their tracking to show the truth of the situation. Tecobuy are a SCAM COMPANY who do not have goods in stock to deliver. You wait, or find out you will be waiting for a long time, as there is no movement in tracking. When you ask to cancel, Tecobuy say you cannot as they say item has been despatched. This is not showing in tracking. You will find out later they never despatched item till maybe over one week after you tried to cancel. They want you to collect the item and keep, or pay yourself to send it back. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM Chinese company

Buyers beware To say I am dissapointed by service I recieved by Tecobuy is an understatement. I orginially was attracted by the competitive prices from this company and ended up purchasing a mobile phone. Little did I know it would take over 2 and a half months to arrive. 1) The website doesn't make it clear that the item would be shipped from Hong Kong. 2) I tried multiple times to contact the company via email and I never ever reeved a response back. The only emails I recieved were promotional emails trying to get to buy more. 3) Despite being told in my purchase email that I could track the purchase from my account, I was unable to see any purchase history from my account. I would rate their customer service exceptionally bad. It's not that hard to respond back to an email, and extremely poor to leave them wondering if they will ever get what they have purchased. I know their price seem cheap but I would recommend avoiding any dealings with them. Consider how they may respond if something you order is faulty or has other issues. I very much doubt you would get a response back and most likely would be out of pocket. Be careful with this company!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. 100% HASSLE. DO NOT USE TECOBUY Like so many other people posting reviews on Tecobuy. I too was taken in by Tecobuy's supposed UK site and their bogus posting of a falsified Trust Pilot score. Having paid for a mobile phone, I received an order confirmation email that said you can track your order with the link. You can't (unless you've already registered for an account). The email stated that the order should be processed in approximately 2-3 days and asked that I allow extra time due to COVID. I didn't hear anything from Tecobuy.co.uk for the next week. It was then that I looked on the reviews and started to have serious doubts about Tecobuy. They are a Hong Kong based company and are not based in the UK. I emailed Tecobuy several times after 2 weeks had passed and no communication received. They didn't reply to any of my emails. I emailed them twice again requesting a refund. Thankfully I received an email via PayPal a couple of days after my 2nd refund request. TECOBUY are an appalling company to deal with. They have misrepresented themselves 1. As a UK based supplier. 2. They have posted a bogus Trust Pilot score. If you look through the reviews for Tecobuy, I can't believe PayPal are allowing Tecobuy to use their service and I would also expect Trust Pilot to intervene when their reputation is being abused by Tecobuy posting false scores. I really do hope nobody else has to go through what so many other people have gone through because of Tecobuy and Paypal and Trust Pilot's inaction. DO NOT USE TECOBUY

Although the delivery was slow, 12 days from ordering, the camera arrived, as described and I am pleased with it. In addition to slow delivery, the only other issue is poor/lack of communication.

one of the worst companies ever. I bought a phone from them and it has a defect. I contacted them many times and they were very rude to me. I was not able to return it back and I lost my money. Don't buy from this company.

The most awful company ever, with worthless Returns policy. I researched TecoBuy before ordering a Samsung phone. Many of the reviews were about delays in delivery and them not being a UK company, despite adding UK to their name, which is a bit misleading to start with. They are based in Hong Kong and it takes 10 days or so for parcels to arrive, which is what they tell you in the small print. What they don’t tell you is that they source the phones from multiple countries and are therefore set up for that country’s language, including the initial screen. In my case it was Vietnamese. I managed to find the right ‘button’ to get to a list of language choices and chose English UK. That made most things readable except the calendar was prepopulated with lots of Vietnamese events, written in Vietnamese with a bright red highlighted back ground. Spotify also came up in Vietnamese. I was concerned about what else was going to be foreign and decided to return it under their 30day refund guarantee as they could not give any advice on how to correct these issues. Getting a refund was impossible! They have to authorise a return first, required a factory reset and stated the phone had to be undamaged. After reset I took lots of pictures to show no damage, before very safely packaging it for despatch. *Be warned, most courier companies regard mobile phones as A PROHIBITED ITEM and will not accept them, despite the fact they delivered it in the first place! Royal mail was fine. TecoBuy acknowledged safe receipt after another 10 days or so and then wanted my Google account and Password(?), claiming they needed it to unlock the phone. I challenged the need for this and they decided they didn’t need it after all! There were lots of messages backwards and forwards over many weeks before they claimed it was damaged, but without saying how or where. I requested photos which they sent showing a scratch on the back cover. I sent my photos of the same area showing no damage. They refused to accept this proof. They insisted the phone was damaged and refused a refund. They demanded £32 to send it back, or they would just keep it. I had to pay this and the phone eventually arrived back with me after another 15 days or so. All this had taken months. I checked the phone for the damage they had sent pictures of and there was nothing there. No damage! Whatever they had taken pictures of, it was not my phone! I messaged them about this stating they had falsely refused a refund as the phone was undamaged. They completely ignored this claiming it was damaged and just closed the case. There was nothing I could do to get the refund and all the postage cost me another £60 or so in top of the purchase price. They are not UK based and our consumer protection laws do not apply. My experience shows they are either dishonest or incompetent. BE WARNED – SHOP ELSEWHERE.
