“I am an international student studying in Edinburgh, and I have ordered an OCULUS QUEST 2 from Tecobuy, after my order is made, I have found many negative reviews from its review websites, and many have said that they have paid money and got nothing or got second-hand product. I was really nervous when I saw these comments, and I have even request a refund from their website since I was afraid that I would experience sth like them. However, this company has sent me the product in 10 days, and it is totally brand-new, I do not know why there are so many fake reviews, are these due to the price war? because Tecobuy sell good products in a lower price?

“I was shopping around for a new Galaxy Note, I was thinking I'd just upgrade to the 10 rather than spend over a £1000 on the new 20. I wasn't in a hurry to buy so on boxing day I decided to look around on ebay and a few shopping sites to look for sales and unwanted gifts. I came across Tecobuy by chance. I have never heard of them or shopped with them and I saw they had prices much, much lower than any place I had found. I was a bit unsure, but everything seemed legit. I decided to think about it and looked around a bit more but was unable to find any sites as cheap. I decided for the price I may aswell get the Note 20 ultra. I was at least £400 cheaper than I had found anywhere else. I made an impulse buy and ordered it. I ordered it as a guest (might have not been the best decision on my part) so I was unable to track it. A few days later I came across Tecobuy reviews and was horrified by what I read. I was sure I had been scammed and was going to be fighting Paypal for a refund. I ordered just before New Year, on the 28th of December and was content to wait for a long delivery date, afterall it was a bank holiday. I got confirmation on my delivery arriving in the UK on the 5th of January. I was still unable to track it, but was very surprised to hear anything so soon. I then got a delivery date from the Royal Mail for the 9th of January. Sure enough my phone arrived. I was perfectly packed, it was what I ordered and it worked great. I couldn't be happier. I know lots of people have said they had really bad experiences but mine was great. I would buy from them again, no questions. My partner is currently shopping for a new phone so we will see what happens.”

“Don't listen to all the negative reviews. Product takes longer to arrive as coming from Hong Kong plus we are in a pandemic, issues at Docks and Brexit so be patient. If you aren't prepared to wait go somewhere else. My phone came within 17 days, well packaged and a lot cheaper than if buying from somewhere else. Thank you Tecobuy. However my experience was exactly as Tecobuy promised - ie delivery in 14 days which included a few days seasonal and Covid delay.

However their Customer Service could employ more precise language when advising delivery stages.”
