“Our Safari Connect Tentsile tree tent is all that we hoped for and more. Everything is well-made, durable and exceeded my expectations. We have it up in the yard as a shady escape to enjoy the breeze and hear the birds flutter among the trees.”

“We bought the Trillium XL. It is absolutely fantastic. Easy to set up, strong, reliable, comfortable and it looks great. I took off one star because a strap got caught in the ratchet and frayed a bit on Day 1 - seems like the ratchet could be engineered to prevent this. Would definitely buy Tentsile again.”

“I’ve been apart of the tree-hanging family for over 5 years now and my connect never once disappointed me, I lived in that thing for 6 months straight and have probably spent over a year and a half in my tent since then. Now I have the Safari version and am once again giving it its full summer test, and so far it’s exceeded my every expectation. The rain fly is better, the insect mesh is better, the floor fabric is better. It’s just a top-notch unit all around. I expect to get another 5 years or more out of this one.”

“i have now used my tentsile stingray a couple of times. first time it was a bit fiddly and i didnt get it hanging right, but still got a good nights sleep. 2nd time me and my daughter went out with the tent and we both slept amazingly compared to tent and hammoc tentsiles tents are to me alot more comfortable and the added benefit of the tent also working as a tarp is amazing. 3rd time was the best time got the tent just right and it was perfect. i read and hear alot of people saying no stingray is to heavy. shure 11kg is a bit to carry around but i got a big bag and walking 2 km into the forest with all stuff 25kg ish wasnt that hard. but for me the tent is perfect to have in the back of my jeep for the trips where i camp next to my car, oh and if u camp where there are other people you will get a lot of disturbance and alot of questions about the tent, if you dont care about the weight then go for this one its amazing, im using this 3 person tent alone and the space to sit in during a rainstorm or just laying there without the rainfly watching stars is amazing. cant say anything about the 1 and 2 man tents but i bet they are as comfortable would love to test some day.”

“A very good tent. It's really special to sleep above the ground. The learning curve is pretry hard. The way to place the tent will impact a lot on your sleep. It sure to me view, the only negative point on the tent is you can't sleep with somebody on your side, it's not that kind of tent ! Super tent ! We're having a lot of fun to use it !”

“Love the tent. Room for improvements. Ladder. Does not work. Needs more of a cargo net to hold stuff into the corners. Rain fly should have openings or a better way to open for air. Either it is on and no air or off and no protection from rain. Accessories should come with the tent at this price. $75 for a ladder is a joke. Should come with the tent. Straps should come in brown to not look so ridiculous in the woods. I had to dye my straps. These are improvements on a seriously fun and cool tent.”

“So for the most part, we love our 6-person hammock. It's fairly easy to set up, once you figure out how high to set the straps (for me at 240lbs and my 125lb wife and 120lb daughter we set them at about 8'. We then needed a step-stool to get on) and the hammock would sag down to about 3', even with the ratchet straps as tight as I could get them. Unfortunately, there is no way we could sleep overnight w/o us all ending up bunched up in a pile in the middle...unless I got off. Too much sag. It is fun to hang out on and a few kids might be able to sleep overnight on it but I seriously doubt 3, let alone 6, adults could sleep overnight on it. It just isn't taught enough. ***One word of caution: MAKE SURE THE RATCHET HANDLES ARE FULLY CLOSED AND THE LOCK TABS ARE ENGAGED!!!!! I failed to do this on one ratchet and when I got on with my wife, the strain on the ratchet barrel was able to rotate the barrel, the "not-locked" spring-loaded stop bar tabs were pushed off of the barrel notches and we both came crashing to the ground. Good thing we were over forest duff vs concrete but we both landed on our backs and hit the back of our heads and were damn near knocked out. My fault. Been using ratchet straps my whole life. I knew better but got complacent. #PersonalResponsibility”

“I have had my Safari Connect set up all summer for the kids staying here to play with. It was easy to set up, and while we may pushing the limit on how much exposure it gets for weeks, it seems to be holding up. I keep it covered with the rain fly until they are ready to get in. I will say that there are debris of tiny insects inside that make it through the mesh - after weeks - and the color on the orange straps is fading, but everything else is great.”

“I love my Stingray. When I did have an issue with the ratchets, Tentsile was great about getting me replacements. the one problem I have, is support for the product after a new one comes out. I have a stingray 2.0. Shortly after the introduction of the 3.0, its like my tent doesnt exist now. Buying accessories for it, becomes impossible, I wanted to get a hatch cover for it. Nope, the 3.0 doesnt work on the 2.0 and you cant GET one for the 2.0 now. It would be NICE to have legacy parts available. I spent a LOT on this tent, I shouldnt be stuck without the ability to buy replacement or accessory parts for it.”
