The three rugs I ordered have not arrived and they cannot be traced through tracking. One of your colleagues (leonie) has said that they need to be re-ordered, but I have not received an update on what is happening yet.

I ordered a blue rug & it’s most definitely green. Also you have to pay to return it. Couldn’t find a courier to return it for a reasonable price so I’m stuck with it!!! Not happy!

Absolutely shocking service from The Rug Seller. I bought a runner in December that was not laid until January . The corners of the rug have started to unravel which is apparently my fault due to using a shark nozzle and a fine soft brush twice. Appalling customer care and won’t be buying again .

I recently bought a Sanderson rug from The Rug seller which one can only describe as appalling The rug cost over £400 so not cheap The pile hasn’t stopped shredding it also has ridges in the pile I contacted The Rug Seller and they did not want to know I am stuck with a rug that is presently stored in the garage ready to go on the tip

Hello Jean, Wool is a non continuous filament yarn and will shed. The level of shedding is affected by traffic, pets and maintenance. It is important to use a suction only hoover rather than abrasive brushes that can increase the level of shedding. Regards, The Rug Seller

Bad response from Rug Seller when we contracted them about our month old wool rug. The wool fibres were coming away on one edge , about 4” in length. We sent pictures and to cut a long story short they accused us of using the vacuum on it which we certainly had not!! After several emails between us they said they were not prepared to discuss any further. Not good customer service so beware!!

Rug was delivered damaged. Because it wasn’t opened immediately after purchase they will not help me. Total waste of money and terrible customer service. Just got a bog standard “it must be your fault” reply!

Delivery was very quick but very unhappy with the rug couldn't open it for a couple of months due to unforeseen circumstances so went past the return date, on reflection, I could kick myself as I should have sent it back anyway. Something is very wrong as darker patches are everywhere. Been trying for ages to upload photo and can't do it for some reason keeps uploading all my files don't know what I'm doing wrong as is saved as jpg

The photos of the rug online were not a true likeness. So when the rug came it didn't look right in the room. I had to pay £30 to send it back and arrange a courier service myself. Just doesn't seem right that it costs that much to return an item.

The ease of service and delivery was good. However, the quality of the actual rug is poor and will probably have to be replaced soon as will look tatty just after one year. An almost identical rug bought from John Lewis over ten years ago still looks fine and I’ll probably have to put that one back in place. Very disappointed.

Not of a quality I expected. Within a couple of weeks the natural weave rug started to unravel. We’ve always had these types of rugs and never had these problems. Once the weave started to unravel considerably in parts (about 6 weeks in). We contacted the Rug Seller, who then contacted the supplier. They replied by arguing that the supplier have had no complaints before, therefore it must be something we’ve done. I reassured the Rug Seller that we had maintained the rug according to all instructions. They argued that the rug was prone to pulling if it caught on something. This rug is in a room where there is almost zero footfall and no furniture on it. They replied with a copy-and-paste of the previous condescending email, refusing to do anything about it, arguing that ‘due to the time elapsed’ (a matter of weeks) the unraveling was due to wear and tear. The rug coat £319. Which works out around £40 a week for a rug that’s no longer fit for purpose. Naturally I would certainly never shop with them again.

Ordered a rug November/December 2022. Delivery was before Christmas. Then told delivery February 2023. Although I’ve asked for an update, not heard anything. An updated would be nice!
