Aviod at cost! There boss is one of the wealthiest men in England (two billions pounds) The government helped him during Covid to the sum of well over £30 million, but he did not need it as he kept his STORES OPEN . Thats £30 million of your money that could be usded on the NHS. He is now saying he will NOT give it back. I ask you to all AVOID THIS STORE.

Appalling customer care. I tried to return an item by post as I am disabled. They gave me an address to send it to yet even with proof of posting, they said I'd sent it to the wrong address, an address listed on their website under returns and refused to assist me any further. I will never shop there again. What a terrible way to treat a disabled customer.

Disgusting, terrible service on goods and trying to return this rug!!! I believe this to be deliberate so that we give up and don’t receive our refund!!! Please don’t order from here !!!

The range are selling products on line using third party company's when you order products and want to return them, you will not get your money back, do not order from the range online. Having ordered and have not yet successfully got my refund I am looking in to going to the press regarding the countless customers who I have seen reviews experiencing the same problem Order number W18107746 Your Order Has Been Dispatched!, Having had a reply from The Range, the companies website I went on to purchase my product, they have as expected brushed responsibility on to a third part who have continued to egnore my email, They claim that this is not the service that they strive to provide, yet I see many customers complaining of the same problem, unfortunately this is the service that they provide. Selling products on there website but taking no responsibility once a customers money has been taken. Company's should not be aloud to get away with this, and I intend to take my complaint to trading standards and every other media outlet possible. Also note that they have mentioned passing the details on, and that the company in question contacts the customers direct, yet The Range are well aware that these con artists are not contacting customers back and honouring there refund policy. As far as I'm concerned the range is responsible for taking my money and not returning it and unlike most of the previous customers who have been ripped off, I will not stop pursuing this until my money is returned

Never before have I experienced such and appalling service. Ordered and paid in full for a two seater and three seater sofa Delivery date was confirmed, so far so good. Delivery arrived a day early without any prior notice and certainly without the covid 19 'wellness' call that XDP (couriers) promote on their website. The delivery only had the two seater sofa and when I questioned the whereabouts of the three seater I was met with two very blank expressions from the two guys, who didn't follow any safety guidelines, then to be told the three seater would arrive the following day. So, the following day came and went and no sign of my delivery. After many attempts to contact the store where the purchase was made I finally managed to speak to an assistant to be told that we need to contact the delivery company (XDP). Well, it would probably be easier to make direct contact with Queen than it is to speak to anybody from this company. Emails sent with only generic replies and absolutely nothing else. So, I phone The Ranges head office to be told by the receptionist that the only way to communicate with them is via the 'live chat' on the website. The 'live chat' doesn't work!!! I've managed to find an email address and am currently in communication with a admin and order escalations representative but quite frankly, don't seem to be going anywhere fast!! "we'll refund your money and you can order another one via the website" is what I'm being told. Well why not just send us a replacement??? Honestly, the whole process has been an absolute farce! I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" rings true. Never again will I be spending a single penny in The Range!!

Online refunds are terrible. Placed and order and needed to return 2 things. Tye rang out source some of there online items so when I asked to return the items and have a refund me they told me it's nothing to do with them and I need to chase the other company. It's been a month and still no item and no refund however Rang are OK with this. Reported to bank ad fraud.

on tuesday 13th feb 2024 i went to the hemel hempstead branch to order a new garden patio set, i picked out a 10 piece garden set and was told it would be delivered in 3 to 5 days and i would get an e-mail or phone call asking what day i would like it delivered, on tuesday 20th feb ( a whole week later ) i still not heard any thing, then later that morning i got an e-mail from the range saying my order had been dispatched and gave me a tracking number and courier phone number, twice i put in the tracking number twice it came up invalid, so i went to the hemel hempstead store again, and evan tried it, and same again, so he phoned up the courier they said they had not received it as of yet, so i said cancel my order and reimburse my money into my account, a manager there said i would have to wait for it to be authorised by head office, absolutely disgusting treatment from the range, do not ever order an online product

Ordered 2 items which came quickly. Arrived and not as described so within an hour phoned to ask Range for return. Purchased through Range Market Place. They had to contact the seller to agree a return (shouldn’t have to under distance selling laws as I have the right to return regardless and I was within the 14 days they specify, it was an hour after I received) Asked for dates for collection, gave 3 dates for following week, not collected. Phoned to say not collected and asked for more dates, again not collection. This process went on every week for a month. After 29 days I phoned again and told them the items had not been collected and I had not had my refund. Law states I have a duty of care for the items for 21 days from date of cancellation (date they agreed to arrange a collection) and that they had to refund within 30 days whether items were collected or not. Told them I was going to do a charge back the next day (30 day limited for them) and as they hadn’t collected items and my duty of care was over. If they didn’t collect them within the next week I would dispose of. Within 10 minutes I had an email from DPD saying they were collecting next working day. Item was collected as stated and delivered back to company 2 days later. After a week I still heard nothing so yet again phoned and informed them item had been delivered and sent proof. A few days later I then got an email stating items had been returned and a few days after that I had an email stating my refund will take 3-5;working days. They are unhelpful and do not want you to return items and once returned it is up to you to chase. Awful service and I won’t be shopping with them again. Also tried to leave review for the items but they are never posted. Suspect others have tried and had the same experience. If there had been reviews I would have never have purchased as they were obviously not favourable. Disgraceful behaviour.

Wish I would have read these reviews before ordering! AVOID ordering from THE RANGE MARKETPLACE at all costs! They ignore any emails sent to them or send the same email various times! Don’t give refunds on products! Vile vile people

Bought 2 items from the range but they weren't from the rang they was from the range plus, 1 item arrived which was the wrong item, and the 2nd item was faulty, ur unable to return to their shop so I've now been waiting over 2 weeks for them to collect the items for a refund and still no joy. Check if you're buying a range item or a range plus if it's the plus range stay clear it's an absolute nightmare trying to sort it when you can't return to their stores.

There are many things that went wrong even to the point I went to watchdog. Absolutely disgusting company that I will never deal with again. Even the CEO Mr A Simpkins didn’t even respond to my email and the head office staff need sacked ASAP. A woman called Emily in head office put the phone down on me. This company needs a complete new management team as the current one is not worth the company having. This company is in trouble with this level of customer care that can’t even treat a customer fairly and professionally. Will never walk in another range again or shop online. Zero stars

We ordered a Sofa and Chair that was advertised as ''Luxury Leather'' on The Range website. We paid for it but several days later we found in the small print that the sofa was actually made from 'Bonded leather' Which is known for its lack of durability and is not ''leather'' but a material made from fibers of scrap leather which are bonder together. We phoned and asked to cancel the order and obtain a refund and were told this would be OK and we would receive a refund within three to five days. This was confirmed by email in which we were told to refuse delivery if the furniture should turn up. A week or so later we had not received the refund, on phoning them we were told that because the item was ''made to order'' we could not cancel it. There is nothing on the website that states that these items are made to order. We are now in the position of having no furniture and no refund. Two points stand out to me regarding this situation one is that the item was falsely advertised as being something that it is not. Secondly that this is obviously a scam regarding the ''made to order'' get out clause where they can refuse a refund on something that is not labelled in any way on the website as a ''made to order'' item. I paid through PayPal so will be trying to obtain a refund through them. I will also be contacting trading standards in regard to the misleading description and the misuse of the distance selling laws.

Its very clear that your attempt at becoming an on line retailer has failed, you have no infrastructure in place to deal with your paying customers. You have no way of dealing with the multiple complaints your so called customer service team are trying and failing to deal with. I doubt very much if Mr Dawson( CEO) reads any of these reviews from HIS paying public, if he does then he clearly does not care, perhaps he is too busy counting his 2.05 Billion? My £400 order may not be important to Mr Dawson, it is however very important to me, hence the reason I paid YOU good money and in return expected YOU to provide the service your company promotes. Would I ever buy from the Range again? NEVER, but I am sure the CEO will not care as he adds the 60 Million he made last year to his fortune and laughs at the unfortunate people that trusted HIM to provide a service and FAILED.

What ever you do, Do not buy anything from this company!. We purchased Garden furniture from them, and it arrived with huge scratches in the glass. Not an issue we thought, I am sure they will either replace or uplift the glass top. Well, thats where it started and finished. After a number of e-mails, on a shocking web site, asking for replacements and photos sent of the top, we heard nothing!. So a phone call it had to be. After a number of calls where we were on hold for 40 minutes and more. We decided to call and just let the phone ring, or play music while we wait. After nearly an hour, some young lady answered, and after looking at the e-mails agreed the scratches were not acceptable, however it was not her department, she would pass it on and someone would contact us within three days. After 7 days still no response. We followed this up with more e-mails, still no response, we are now back on the phone, and after 32 minutes we still have not had a reply. This is a company, who care nothing for customer service, and have no rights to be selling anything to the general public. The saga continues.

I'm hiring a solicitor because rang stores all across the uk are fraudsters. I got my £1,020 back for garden furniture not recieved because I wouldn't leave the store in wakefield without it. I really feel for everyone who has not been REFUNDED by these set of imbaciles. They'll wish they never messed with me. I also want an apologie in writing from them. AND I'LL GET IT.

I am owed refunds on two online orders W3861182 and W3860444. I have attempted multiple times to get help on this matter through email and telephone correspondence but to no avail. Order W3860444 was dispatched on 10th June 2021 but has not arrived so has clearly been lost by the courier. Order W3861182 was rejected on delivery as I was advised to do so by The Range customer service. My money has been taken, and I have no products to show for it. This is theft clear and simple. I am hugely upset and distraught that your customer service are refusing to help me, and even ignoring my emails.

Hi there, I wrote the the last review I’m Patricia Pinder my husband is Barry. Can we all get together and perhaps write to trading standards. There are too many of us for it to be a coincidence. They are ordering stuff they know is not going to arrive and our money is in their bank gaining interest. Further more does no one in authority read these reviews. It’s not just one Range it’s all over the customer service stinks and the attitudes are worse.
