It may ne blamed on royal mail, but the last 2 times i have used this company the deliveries where tracked and on time the day before delivery, then they always dissappear for a day or two and arrive late. They need to selcet better partners.

Total incompetence! They were not thourtful when sending me the my order containing one wrong card and one envelope for two cards! I now have to go out and try and find a card for Mother’s Day! WELL DONE.

Thortful easily have the best range of funny & adult/rude cards. The customer journey is more slick & easy, regardless of whether you use their website or their excellent app. Thortful’s prices are also very competitive. In all areas, Thortful far exceed the offerings & experiences of both Moonpig and Funky Pigeon. I have used Thortful many times & recommended them to family & friends, quite simply it means that everybody gets a funnier & more memorable card. As well as Thortful definitely being a company that is worth using yourself, if you use the ‘Invite Friends’ function to generate a link to send to someone, THEY will earn 30% off when they order, and YOU will earn £5 when they buy. That is certainly generous by any standards! Uniquely, I find myself writing this 5 star review after my sister failed to receive her birthday card. After I wrote an email complaining to the customer service team, it was very quickly answered by a lady called Lola Crawford. She took onboard what I had said, promptly investigated what had happened, and was able to show that the card was timestamped at every stage in the journey whilst at Thortful, right from the order, to the printing process, to the packaging & releasing of the card to Royal Mail. It has been Royal Mail’s failure by somehow managing to lose a card in their system with a printed name & address, with printed paid postage too. Royal Mail complain that too many parcels & not enough letters go through their system, but they’ve somehow managed to lose a card given to them by a corporate client! Despite it being proved it was Royal Mail’s fault, Lola did not simply leave it there, within the same initial investigation response email, she did everything she could alleviate my disappointment. She offered to have the card made again immediately & posted on the same day (even though it was late in the afternoon), or (as was the case in my situation) if my sister no longer wished to receive a card after her birthday, then Lola offered (and duly did) credit my Thortful account with a free card of the same size for future use, as well as 50% off a second card of the same size. Not only this, but she was also very empathetic, kind, and friendly in every correspondence I had with her. Lots of businesses try to help consumers when problems arise, but I’m sure most people reading this can definitely think of a situation when a company have tried to pass the blame, treated them unfairly and/or rudely by large national/international brands, however, Lola & Thortful genuinely went above and beyond to help me, despite them never being at fault or having done anything wrong at all in this process, which is not only generous, but impressive as well as trustworthy too. For all of the reasons above, as well as their competitive prices, I have no hesitation to leave a 5 star review for Thortful, as they have been nothing other than helpful, sleek, and excellent in every transaction I have had with them. They are also a lot more personal and flexible than other gift card retailers. *For the purposes of evaluating their service standards, I will be filling in the relevant questions based on every other experience where a delivery has taken place from Thortful.

Great cards, brilliant service and fast delivery. Ordered one day and they came the next. What more could you ask for? Also got 35% off! Always go to Thortful for “ different” cards as the ones you see in shops are all the same. Can’t fault them or their service.

With thanks to Thortful I am able to send a massive variety of cards and gifts to family and friends in the United Kingdom from my home in Canada. On time delivery is virtually guaranteed and has never disappointed. Billing, destination address storage and communication has been excellent.

Brilliant set of cards for any occasion and simply the fastest dispatch I've seen. Never had a problem, the print quality is perfect - have had issues with their competitors, so thortful is definitely my go to!

Card didn't arrive. It was a sympathy card where time was important. I requested a refund as per my statutory rights. Instead I was given a token for another card which does not include the postage I've already paid. So if I use that token, I'll pay two lots of delivery costs for one card (assuming the second one arrives). What a con.

My husband . order Roses and a card through thortful . they were sent out a week early didn't arrive on 3rd November , message said was running late . arrived on the 4th November . I went out to Van to take them from driver , box bent and to find my husband order he through other boxes around , opened box flowers wilted and squashed, by the way I'm a qualify florist. so I no what i'm looking at

Just like the comment below my order did not arrive and blamed Royal Mail for losing it. Offered a replacement which is too late. Also offered company credit which I would not spend as my order never arrived. Do not trust. Was forced to buy from a retailer which is what I tried to avoid.

Not only are their cards a little different from other personalised greeting card websites but their customer service has proved to be efficient, polite and generous (unlike other similar companies I have used).

The selection is wonderful! I found the company from an instagram advert and was unsure at first. So glad I shopped! I ordered 4 cards and they all arrived the next day despite not paying for next day postage. The customer service team are very quick to respond. Great business to support. Will be shopping again!

Recently an order was placed for the delivery of flowers to 17 Thorngrove House, 9 Thorngrove Avenue, Manchester M23 9PQ. Your Delivery man, instead of taking the flowers to the address provide, left the box in the ground floor vestibule without making any contact with the recipient. This is fact as I witnessed this. I took the Box to the recipient, Mrs E. Morris, who is a 96yr old invalid. Whilst I am not the customer, the fact that your delivery driver chose to throw the box into the vestibule, this action, I find totally unacceptable behaviour. If this is the standard of service one can expect and has to accept as normal delivery procedure, I certainly would not use your service, nor would I recommend your company to anyone. On behalf of Mrs Morris, A shocking display of company representation and unprofessional service by your delivery man.

Basically they’re excellent! Highly recommended! The following is a summary (a long, but honest, summary) of my interactions with Thortful’s Customer Happiness Team (great title, and they’re good at it!). I have been using them for nearly 5 years now and have never had any problems whatsoever. I suppose that’s why I didn’t leave a review, I should have though. Now I’ve got experience on how they deal with issues too, so I wanted to leave a review for both. As I said I’d never had an issue and their cards are fabulous, a great range from different designers, they also have photo cards. I especially like the gift options! They recently had a problem with their printers, which only affected me because one of the cards I ordered was for an imminent birthday. I had very kind emails from Maisie, who initially advised me of the printer issue which meant my card wouldn’t be despatched when required. I was given free postage on my next order, happy with that. I had incorrectly thought it was a minor hiccup and that the card was being sent on the next day, and so still had the chance of being delivered when I needed it. However, I had got it wrong and Laura emailed me to advise that the issue was more serious. What I liked was that she came across as genuinely, as were all of the team, sorry that this had happened. Lastly (apart from the standard feedback email, which I have responded to), I had an email from Jasmin. She confirmed that the printers were back up and running, which was great for my other cards I’d ordered at the same time with future dates. I got a refund for the card that was missed, no muss no fuss! I’m pleased it wasn’t a long term thing and I can’t fault their handling of the situation. Their range of cards is great! I love having all of the options they give, the choice whether to send them direct to the birthday person or to me. I used to think sending them direct was impersonal but now, being able type or upload my written message, they are or as if I’d written it myself! Having the address book within the app is really good, as are the reminders for birthdays upcoming (essential for me, 🧠 like a sieve!) I like being able to send multiple cards to different addresses, on different dates in one basket, that’s just, well … just👌🏽! It means I can take advantage of promos like the 4 for £10 without having to wait for them to come to me and then remember to post them when required and pay for more postage as well as multiple delivery charges! Finally, the additional gifts that are available are great! My cousins (male) loved the bright colourful socks! There could be more male specific gifts, although, who’s to say a man wouldn’t like flowers?! Well, not me! However, let’s just say, my large extended family have lovely socks! All in all, I think it’s fair to say, I love these guys and gals, they’re fantabulous! FYI How I found Thortful… I was always getting emails from Moonpig and Funky Pigeon so I used to use them as my ‘go to’ for sending cards online. For a while they were pretty much the only option. Then, I can’t remember how, I found Thortful, so I tried them out, and have used them ever since. I don’t even have the other two apps on my device any more.

I had a problem with the flowers I was sent and contacted the company. They were so very helpful and the communication was excellent. I received a replacement bouquet and they were lovely. Would definitely use this company myself.

Awesome experience, Royal Mail lost my order and Jasmin Hart couldn't have been more helpful in resolving my issue and getting my cards to me on time for my wife's birthday, top job :-)

Purchased a beautiful Mother’s Day card from them, a great and cheeky design! There is a fantastic range to choose from, for every type of personality! Give them a go, you won’t regret it!!!
