“TCL Solar installed my solar and battery system 12 months ago. I waited until now to compare actual generation to initial predictions. I am glad to say the system has over performed and has drastically cut our energy bills. These guys are great, extremely skilled, thorough and polite. Nothing negative to say and would recommend to anyone considering solar.”

“We would like to highly recommend TCL Solar. We've just had our solar panels and battery installed and couldn't be more pleased with results already getting. Simon talked us thru all the options and helped us pick the best for our household. We've got one of the best equipment on the market with the most competitive price. Everyone from the scaffolding team, thru Simon and David(the owners) to the installation team were polite, helpful and what's the most important extremely professional. The installation was done within less than two weeks from the initial appointment. It took one day only. Thanks for the great job TLC Solar and all the best from Kasia and Rafal.”

“Excellent start to finish. Firstly Simon, at point of sale, was fantastic. To the point, informative and helpful without being pushy. Technical survey was carried out and I knew I had confidence in the team. Even helped with electrical advice outside of the solar remit. David was excellent with answering questions and all the power work pre and post install. Lastly the install team were excellent. Scaffolding erected and taken down when I was told it would be. The install was done to a very high standard and they left the area clean as if they hadn’t been there. Workmanship was to a very high standard but most impressive was that they worked tirelessly despite the horrendous conditions. Hats off to them. They were punctual and very courteous. Overall a fantastic experience and I’d highly recommend the company. Completely seamless process. Thank you”

“TCL recently completed a Solar and Battery installation at my property. We recieved quotations from many competing suppliers and TCL was extreamly competetive. The quoating process was seamless, professional and lacked any form of pressure. The installation process was extreamly well done, scofolding for our property was a challenge due to a large conservatory but the guys rose to the challenge. Scolding up in a day, system installed and commissioned the following day and the scafolding removed the day after. All paperwork, certifications and registrations were done by TCL and supplied to us. I would, and have, recommended these guys to anyone looking to add solar generation and/or battery storage to their home.”

“I wish I could give more than 5 stars, TCL is the gold standard. Simon explained our options very clearly and ordering was complication free. The scaffolding was erected by a great team that were very courteous and efficient. The TCL men that fitted the solar panels were polite, professional and a pleasure to have around (even though the chapel was the most challenging roof they had ever worked on) Simon knew we had had bad experiences with tradesmen, and assured us TCL wouldn't let us down. I'm so glad we put our faith in TCL Solar. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them. We are delighted!”

“We met with Simon who went through our solar options & he checked everywhere he needed to as in the roof & where would be a appropiate place for the battery & inverter. He left us feeling reasured & all questions answered plus offered to call us back later that week to see how we was feeling after our conversation & quote. The quote was very fair & after we'd be open that we was going to get a few others in we called Simon back & accepted his quote later that week. The installation was carried out 2 weeks later & we was so pleased the guys was very respecful taking there shoes off when they needed access to the loft to thread cables through & really just got on with the installation. They answered any questions we had & when they left we had been shown around the app plus everything on the battery. We couldn not reccomend TLC solar enough & feel super pleased we also had phoncalls from dave supportung us through the last part of the process & sent everything we needed through the very next day so we can get on with moving to a solar tarrif & extra support if we needed it.”

“I decided to use TCL Solar after getting multiple quotes. Simon offered the best solution to our needs at a competitive price with no hard sales tactics. The installation team of Matt & Jack were excellent, so neat and tidy. Following installation, David helped with the SEG/Export application to Octopus. Very happy to recommend.”

“I had 10 solar panels & a battery fitted on the 8th of January by TCL Solar. The system is working perfectly, and I can not recommend this Company enough, the sevice given by Simon & David is out standing. I would also like to mention the two men who fitted the system they were very polite and professional. The complete system was put in in one day. All I can say is that if you are thinking of having solar then use TCL Solar you will not regret it.”

“From start to finish TCL did exactly what they said they would. Their advice was invaluable. The system specified fitted our needs and budget. Scaffolding, system delivery and installation (on one of the wettest days of the year!) were all carried out with total professionalism throughout. We were kept updated throughout the whole process and would ABSOLUTELY recommend TCL as a local company with national beating ethics.”

“Extremely happy with both the installation and Friendly service from TCL. Unlike other companies, we were given both space and time, over others that called (hounded us) daily. Both David and Simon were as good as their word. The sale and installation went smoothly, and the installers did a great job of the installation, very tidy, ensuring we knew and agreed with the placement of both the panels, inverter and batteries. Due to a winter installation, the system was commissioned the next day and the Engineers ensured that the system was error-free, and our mobiles were able to monitor the system. The installation from agreement to install was just over two weeks, and we were never chased for payments. We decided on TCL as they were more local to us, but we were quoted more for fewer panels, in the end. We went for sixteen panels (in case we purchase a EV) and we plan to add a second battery already too. in all, on fair to bright winter days, we have gone from using £5 per day, down to about a pound!!!! (the system should pay for itself within 5 to six years.) WE'RE VERY VERY HAPPY. THANKS GUYS.”

“After experiencing a number of companies offering quotes for installing solar, it was a relief to get in touch with TCL. There was no sales pitch, Simon and David give confidence that they know what they are doing and help find a solution that worked for us. All items were delivered on time and as advised ahead of the installation date. Matt and Jack were our installers and they were excellent - could not rate them highly enough. They arrived on time, outlined what they would be doing, treated our house as if it was their own, worked incredibly hard whilst here and when finished were meticulous in clearing up. From start to finish TCL have delivered and we are delighted with the service and installation. Matt helped install the various apps and explained how they work, which for a Luddite was invaluable too! Great company and would highly recommend!”

Simon carried out a very straightforward survey making everything easy to understand, the price was competitive compared to the other companies. David completed the DNO application and helped with the SEG process. My solar and battery system has now been installed for 6 months and has made a big difference to our energy costs.”
