I filled negative review for GearBest purchase and after 3 days (TrustPilot) they removed my review because Gearbest reported my review as FALSE. I've sent TrustPilot a copy of bank statement, prinscreent of the order from GearBest "Order" section and my review still remained Hidden. Money really does makes the world go round
“If I could give Trustpilot a minus figure I would do. Basically they rejected my latest review and literally called me a blatant liar. This is the second time I’ve had a review refused one being positive and the original being a negative. Both reviews were totally genuine and based upon the service received in both instances. Trustpilot would not recognise a genuine review if it hit them in the face like a wet kipper I have totally insulted by the comments sent to me by email insinuating that my review is false, that I am a liar and asking for my personal details. This is what I would describe as fraudulent behaviour. I have no trust in Trustpilot As they are completely fraudulent and shouldn’t be allowed to do business”
“As all the others, I can confirm that you just can't post a review with a complaint you have. If you do, they will contact you. I told them I have the proof of the vendor threatening me that it will block deliveries from othere retailers, which it happened. I've sent Trustpilot the proof and it's been months with our hearing any thing and my post was deleted, because "it's under investigation". A complete hoax, absolutely ZERO confidence in them!!”
“I just got a message from trustpilot saying that me review is doing damage to the company I reviewed!
I thought the whole purpose of the review is to share your experience. Trustpilot are the biggest scandal.”
“I reported a company to TrustPilot that are obviously faking their trustpilot reviews. TrustPilot's reaction was to stop me flagging the obviously fake reviews. A once great site is now just like the rest of them.”
“My authentic reviews were taken down without asking questions, only emailing me to say my reviews are flagged as suspicious. Whereas the website is filled up with fake good reviews by the companies own employees and by paid agencies. The website is payed by companies to maintaining a good customer rating.”
“I have reported a completely false and damaging review to trustpilot .
They took the review off for a few hours then put it back on and said that as far as they were concerned the review was not harmful.
They told me to write to the person that wrote the fake review. Now i have to wait 5 days to see if the fake reviewer will respond. In the meantime the fake review is published for all to see !
Only then can I appeal the review.
They have ignored my emails to them. They are not trustworthy.
They do not check or investigate to make sure that any bad reviews are genuine.”
“Completely misleading site , make out their impartial when this is not true. It is more or less impossible to leave a bad review for a company that pays to be a on trustpilot. They just get flagged for a couple of months so nobody can read it then deleted
. Complete scam ..”
“I have read all the bad review about Trustpilot saying they are fake reviews the only fake one that I consider to be fake are all those people that are saying trustpilot are fake in my eyes Trustpilot are one of the most honest places to leave a review about a company or other people and find them second to none they Trustpilot in the past I have said something bad about a company called Sky they would not let it go live until I sent them proof of what I had ,then checked it out to see if was genuine before they let it go live on Trustpilot making them like I said a very honest place to leave a review and should be more than 5 stars more like a sky full of stars”
“There are many fake negative reviews on Trustpilot designed to destroy the reputation of other companies, similarly there are even more fake positive reviews used to promote companies whose services and products are questionable. If you look at the dates of these reviews, they tend to come on same days and many in one week! Many with similar use of words or alarming warning title like " Stay away"; Don't buy...."; "Worst company" and so on. I do not trust Trustpilot review anymore, and they don't influence me anymore.”
“Same as many reviews here. Wrote a Damning review of Enstroga energy, it was flagged and I provided the evidence as requested and no response. I.requested the flag was lifted numerous times ...still nothing.
Overall score of a company can be completely skewed.
“I wrote a (1*) review for a watch selling company, Iguana Sell in Spain, because they made wrong claims and could not deliver the advertised Sinn watch.
Shortly after, I received a message from Trustpilot, asking for supporting information an proof, which I provided two times in form of an original email from the official Australian Importer. However, Trustpilot ignored all proof and refused to publish my honest review.
I totally understand, that Trustpilot has to work in the interest of their customers who are paying big fees in order to make their reviews look great, however, deleting true reviews is not a good business practice and not fair at all!”
