“Trust Pilot did the same to me! Removed a negative review of Lyca Mobile. I was professional and honest. Anyway, I will not be using Trust Pilot anymore as I know their reviews are unreliable and all filtered.”
“They remove real honest reviews, because companies ask them to flag their negative reviews. Where is the freedom of speech and honesty??? Companies pay you to remove bad reviews, so they keep a fake high rating”
“SANTANDER damning review for RACISM was removed after about 300views, claiming it is against the TRUSTPILOT policies.
WHAT A JOKE! BEING BOUGHT OFF BY THE VERY COMPANIES BIG ENOUGH TO SCREEN FOR THEIR NEGATIVE REVIEWS is the lowest low for a "trust"worthy website!!!
You can't trust anyone who removes DAMNING REVIEWS!
trustPILOT just CRASHLANDED itself!!!
What a corrupt, lying SHAMBLES!!!”
“I had a strange experience with TrustPilot - I reviewed PlusNet mobile, and gave it a negative review. All fine so far. Plusnet then added a 'missed payment' to my credit score, when I was in credit with them. I updated my TrustPilot review to reflect this. My review was taken down by TrustPilot on the basis that I had to 'prove' this had happened.
I therefore sent my latest Plusnet bills to TrustPilot, showing that I had a credit on my account - for the same month that Plusnet put me as bad credit on my credit score (my credit score when down a bit).
The response from TrustPilot? None. I followed up and am still waiting on a response.
I've included a screenshot of the bill, and redacted identifying information, so take a look and see what you think - also included screen grab of credit change.”
“removed my honest review of my experience with ebay customer service. I've done a lot of searching online and can see this is what they do, for bigger companies who don't want other people to see honest accounts of what they experience, which is complete fraud.”
“I was very surprised if not shocked to receive this in an email from Trustpilot,", our software has flagged that at least one of your reviews is likely to be spam. We take this very seriously, and have therefore blocked your user account and removed your reviews from our platform." I replied, "I was born an English citizen and have not been found guilty of any misconduct by Trustpilot, but Trustpilot has punished me without presenting any evidence against me. Is this how you would like to be dealt with under English law?"”
“Terrible service as they took down my reviews of Look fantastic. Look fantastic we’re really slow to give me a refund and trust pilot we’re just awful and unfair as they didn’t let me post my honest review.”
“Just echoing what many here are saying, Truspilot is happy for you to leave + reviews but if you leave a - then their 'integrity' team will most likely remove it or you are asked to verify the review and/or chased by the company you reviewed to provide various information, the lack of which will see the review removed. Trustpilot is in the pockets of the larger companies . They should be shutdown and or litigated against”
“Trustpilot is supposedly somewhere where you are able to leave genuine reviews negative or positive, as long as they don't "breach their terms". Funny that, I left negative reviews for Mobilephonesdirect, both reviews were of my genuine experience and did not breach any rules, but they removed them. They asked that I provided proof of the order, I sent all the emails and my order confirmation but still they won't reinstate it. DO NOT trust the reviews on Trustpilot, if a company pays them enough they will get rid of the negative ones. Seems that I am not the only one this has happened to.”
“(dont)Trustpilot has suspended my account because of a negative comment for Randox. I got a response from Content Integrity team after over a month. They asked me to provide a proof I dealt with Randox, what I did but the emails were not enough. I had to waste my time searching for confirmation of my orders with Randox. I sent it to them and no response. All my reviews have disapeared and my account is blocked. I dont trust them at all. Obviously many companies generate positive reviews themselves or buy them. You can see it easily as some companies had 2.3 stars after a few days suddenly 1000 more reviews and all positive or negative written in a positive way. Rubbish website, lost its integrity”
“Terrible company and business model.
Only allow negative reviews on profiles unless you pay. Many of our clients have left positive reviews and they have been taken down by Trust Pilot.
Only fake and Defamatory reviews remain.
Trust Pilot have facilitated damage to our organisation. For this reason they will be sued.
We have reported this company to trading standards and informed our thousands of clients at Safetech of how this company operates. Our lawyers are in process of preparing the law suit which will be issued to PETER HOLTEN MÜHLMANN shortly.”
“There was a time when I thought Trustpilot was the one review site that made an effort to be reliable but I've given up on them now. Every time I try and send the documentation they require to prove my review is accurate, I'm told the address isn't monitored. I've tried for weeks now to find an easy way to send the documentation but without success. I've tried the Help Centre but you just get told to read articles. There's no-one who can help. I can't believe I've wasted this much time getting nowhere.”
“if i write positive reviews all is fine, but as soon as i write a negative review i suddenly need to prove myself/identity and if not my review will be put on hold until..... waste of time to write on trustpilot.”
“Left HONEST reviews on a company. Both were removed. I verified the reviews and emailed the order confirmation document across, Trustpilot acknowledged the email and confirmed verification & advised that the reviews would be up and running. However both reviews are stilk showing as removed. Yet they are trus accounts of my customer experience, and I have adhered to all Trustpilot guidelines. So how is Trustpilot trustworthy, when they remove reviews for no good reasons?”
