Hey Under Armour, I get it, mistakes happen to all of us. It’s Friday afternoon, POETS day, the sun is shining and the digital team are desperate to get off early to hit the pub ... erm sorry gym. Rupert the intern is too young for the pu...sorry gym and is happy to stay – I mean what’s the worst that could happen eh! The weekend rolls by in a flash and everyone returns Monday morning with sore heads...sorry muscles from all the DOMS, and OH MY GOD. It has been a record weekend for sales but something doesn’t look right. There are 1000s of orders but the revenue is WAY down on where it should be. This is bad. Somehow the website pricing has been wrong for 48hrs and people have been spreading the news all over the interwebs. The office panic is widespread and palpable. Inboxes are overflowing and everyone is looking to pass the book. It must have been Marketing’s fault, no no it was definitely the merchandisers, no it must be a development glitch. Poor Rupert. Nobody is sure how to react, maybe the C-levels won’t notice, please god say they won’t notice. Surely they’re too busy in their plush offices or on the golf course to look at actual revenue numbers. Maybe, just maybe, they’ll only spot the sales volumes on the dashboard and give everyone a raise. Wishful thinking I’m afraid, questions are already being asked. But what do we do. Alan the warehouse manager, ever the dutiful employee, has already begun shipping orders. THIS IS BAD. And now you have a choice: a) Accept the error however, it happened. Take a huge hit and ship the orders regardless, but turn it into a positive. Think of it as a loss leader, tell all of the new (or existing) customers about the mistake and how despite the cost you’ll still honour your word. Quietly encourage people to spread the word about what a great company you are, and if they enjoy their new purchase (many of whom may never have bought UA before) encourage them to come back again with a one-off discount code for being in the lucky club. 1000s upon 1000s of delighted customers, social media buzzing with positive brand mentions. YOU CANNOT BUY THIS KIND OF PR. Website traffic rockets, entirely new demographics are suddenly brand ambassadors and now the only concern is how you’ll be able to keep up with the demand for full priced orders. Life is good, Rupert is off the hook. b) You’ve run the numbers, this will kill the company. You can’t possibly fulfil these orders at these prices. But what to do. Honesty is the best policy as my old Mum probably definitely maybe once said or somthing. People are reasonable and will understand. By Monday 12pm all customers have been informed personally by email that the pricing was an error and unfortunately can’t be honoured. Of course you understand this is upsetting, especially as people’s money has been taken, so to soften the blow here is a onetime 30% discount code that can be redeemed against any item. Tell people you know this isn’t the bargain they thought they’d got, but hope it goes someway to making up for the upset and inconvenience of not being able to fulfil their order. c) Panic and don’t do anything quickly. Wait until Wednesday and then send out a generic email that doesn’t even address the customer by name. Thank them for their interest but tell them their order wasn’t accepted. Don’t give any reason, details or admit any mistake – that would show weakness BRAH. Tell them the refund will be with them within 5 working days. FIVE WORKING DAYS. Apologise for the inconvenience, that’ll appease people I’m sure. Of course you’re a smart company, never one to miss a marketing opportunity, so don’t forget to use your standard email template highlighting your free shipping and returns – people will surely be queuing up to order again. Remember it isn’t a mistake that defines us; it is how we deal with it. You chose C (*shakes head*). For a company with the slogan I WILL, it is ironic to the extreme that it turns out YOU WON’T! • You won’t honour orders made in good faith • You won’t admit the mistake and try to turn it into a positive for both you and your new customers • You won’t give people their money back for up to 5 working days. Stay hungry guys, although with this kind of negative PR I worry that might not be all that hard for you going forward. If you need any help with your marketing and comms I’m here – you’ve got my details from my orders (although it appears you don’t know how to use them). Of course the rate I quote you when we agree to work together won’t be the rate I actually charge, but hey I’m sure you won’t mind. Hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, not your biggest fan. This is Sta...erm Matt.

Same problem as others have experienced. Awful service -- ordered 12/15 and eight days later in-stock products haven't shipped. Website said plenty of time for Christmas delivery and paid priority shipping as added precaution and still hasn't shipped. Called on 12/22 and was assured the order would arrive for Christmas. Guess this customer service rep has some strings with Santa's sleigh as I don't see this happening. For the amount they charge for their stuff made in China I would expect much better service. Definitely switching to another brand that treats their customers better.

Done with under armor due to using non resilient fabric on your running shoes. Holes appear with marginal contact with anything.

Domestic Delivery for online purchase took 10+days, to exchange the product (was too big) as per company’s policy 5-7days, today is day 8 and still waiting for pickup, I can’t imagine how long will take to receive the exchanged package. Exchanges for online purchase is not accepted in the physical stores even with a receipt. Customer service - don’t waste your time.

I did a order online and everything looks fine until I did a exchange and I understand that this took time to process I constantly contacted costumer service, they gave information about how my package was supposed to be processed every time I contacted them I looks everything was fine I also told them that was a Christmas gift because they told me that my package was ready to send on December 13 and they were waiting only and that I will receive my package before Christmas , today I contacted them again and they told me that part of my package was ready and I will receive my package on December 27 and the other part of my package was sold out. I understand that they have a high volume for holidays but at least they should sent an email explaining that so I can cancel my order

If I could give Under Armour a zero I would. They are deceptive and lie when it comes to their promotions. Spent 3 hours on the phone disputing $31.22 that they owed me after their representative offered me for a 40% discount on my purchase. Will not be shopping there again... untrustworthy and fraudulent.

I did a refund 17 days ago for some shoes that were 2 sizes smaller than what they write on them, and still didn't get my money back. On the official website they are saying that the whole return process can take up to 14 days(which is outrageous anyway), then they tried to lie to me that it can take 14 working days. When I confrunted them, they days they are sorry and to wait more. Really??!!! Was my first time worderinf something from them, but NEVER AGAIN !!!

This company is a bunch of thieves! Recied a gift card, had to make several order because after the orders were placed I recieved an out of stock notification for at least one item Everytime, then had to fight tooth and nail to get the money put back on my gift card.. after the 4th time this happened they just took the remaining $35.00 and will not put it back on the card.. STAY AWAY from this rip off website! DO NOT deal with UNDER ARMOUR.COM. or this will undoubtedly happened to you.

I have ordered a 2nd pair of shoes, first time we got the wrong size but box size was correct-NOT the shoes. It took a month for reimbursement. 2nd order was a mistake because I decided to give them a 2nd chance….BUT my order was never delivered but I received a delivery notice so I had to order another pair but in a different color since my original color no longer carried the size I wanted. I will never order online again, we are now in March and my initial order was in mid January. I had provided an online review through UA and it was denied!! Clearly Under Armour is sweeping complaints under the rug. I also don’t understand why pickup isn’t available when I live minutes from the store and a factory near sandy point MD. Completely unsatisfied!!! Not worth it. Buy in store if you have too or don’t shop there at all. I’m sure they will sweep this review under the rug too, shame on you!

Absolutely horrendous shipping standards. They take months longer to ship than advertised, with no explanation, they just keep pushing the date. The Better Bussiness Bureau should audit them, they are misleading people with false information.

I bought some UA running shoes for $90 about a month ago and I loved the way they look and fit. But now they’re getting holes where the stitching around the leather (?) upper part of the shoe that is around the front of the shoe and the fabric meet. I wear them a lot but still, one month and my shoes look worn out. This has happened with almost every pair of UA shoes I’ve had. Not impressed with the quality of materials or craftsmanship for what they cost. I’ve had shoes from Walmart last longer for a fraction of the price. These guys are losing their edge!
